His last meeting with Aara had finally set something firmly in place in his mind. He needed to do what he had ment to do all along, even since he had spoken to the one called Scion.

Leaving a note for Hatter, since the demon was busy with her family, he left the house and headed off in the direction of the center. Somewhere from there, though the forest he hadnt ever explored, would be this Village that Scion had spoken of. It was there he would be able to figure out what he was and why he was the way he was.

He needed answers and he needed to know. He couldnt face Aara the way he was. He needed to, in the words of a rather pissed off demon, be a 'man'. Not that he would ever really be a 'man' but perhaps he could grow a little while he was gone.

He had been wandering around for a few hours and was, most likly, completely lost. I should have asked for directions... he grumgled to himself as he kept going. He knew he was heading in the one direction that he hadnt explored so he knew he had to be going the right way. Nothing smelt right so it was somewhere he didnt know.

Stopping for a moment he sniffed at the air and looked around. "I have to be somewhere near the damn thing." he grumbled before he headed off again. He should run into someone. If the Jivven were all like Scion they would have centries, which ment that as soon as he got close enough to the village someone would come see.

The red Daewl's presence had indeed been noted, and word had been sent back to the Village which, at the rate Kuro was going, was still a good few days away. Not so for the Uuthli sentries; the trip could be made in next to no time for the quickest of fliers, and was dutifully completed and word taken to the head of their rank.

Who, in turn, had interrupted a private meeting to pass it onto Jack. The so-called pirate was now proceeding through the woodlands in a rather sour mood, each of his long strides moving him the space of ten for a Jivvin not on the carefully hidden pathway. In just over an hour he managed to track down the red Daewl, and stepped clear of the path for the final twenty steps over to Kuro, his greeting a grimace. "And what's this 'damn thing' you're looking for, hm? You shouldn't be so far in the forest alone."

Kuro skidded to a hault and glared at the one infront of him. He was another of them, he had to be someone from the village. No one from the center would be this far out into the forest.

"I am looking for a village that Scion spoke of. And i will be as far in which ever forest i want when i want" No one was going to tell him that he couldnt go looking for the answers he wanted.

"Scion," Jack groaned, raising a hand to rub his temples. "Buggery b*****d, as if I'm not working enough..." He shook his head, addressing Kuro without lowering his hand. "You'll do well to hold your tongue this deep into the forest. You'll risk offending someonw, and then you'll be on your own should you run into trouble. You're lucky a Ssan hasn't found you, late as it is in the summer."
PostPosted: Sun Jul 23, 2006 2:50 pm

He bit his tongue on a growl. If the yellow one wasnt going to help him he'd just go find someone else. "Holding your tongue does not get you answers." He'd already learned that.

He had never told Aara any of his thoughts and it had gotten him a fight and an almost lost friendship. He needed to loose his tongue and find out things so he could explain things to the blue jivvin.

"I'll keep my eyes out for this Ssan. If you are not going to help me then please step aside and i will find the village on my own. I cant learn anything standing out here"

With that he turned away from the other Jivvin and headed though the trees again. He didnt need someone telling him him that he didnt need to be there, he knew he needed to be there. The only place he would be able to get the answers to the questions he wanted was in the Village and that ment that no matter what anyone said he would have to find the village.

Someone would be able to help him. Shaking his head he stepped carefully over a few tree roots and headed for a clear spot he saw. It looked like it would be big enough to be able to see the sky and from there he'd be able to see what direction he needed to go in.

They were further out than either of them were supposed to be but, to be quite frank, he didn't give a flying rats rear-end. He'd been tossed into the barracks once before, ticking the hours away with tiny slash-marks on the wall only to be released at midnight for his night patrol. It had been humiliating but he'd learned something from it...

Next time you sneak off when you're supposed to be on duty don't get caught.

It was training that had brought them out this far now... Training and a slight thing called male pride which wouldn't allow him to let himself be defeated by Leo in the arena. No, if he was going to get his tail handed to him by the other Uuthli it was going to be where no one else would see... And when no one else would see no one else would believe him if he decided to run his yap about it.

"Come on you golden-flecked pansy. Come at me. Are you going to stand there with that dinky excuse for a sword all day?"
PostPosted: Sat Aug 12, 2006 9:14 pm

He had only come out this far because he knew that the egotistical idot wouldn't let himself get his a** handed to him somewhere everyone else would see. So instead of listening to his head and knowing that if they were caught this far out they'd be in trouble he had gone with the idiot.

Rolling the sword in his hand he smiled. "Just because your's is bigger does not mean it does the job as well." He flicked a strand of hair out of his face before going for the other.

Their swords clashing could probably be heard a good deal away from the clearing but that was not something to think about at the time.

----------------------

The sound of metal grinding against metal caught his ears as he neared the clearing. That wasnt right was it? People shouldnt be fighting, he'd have heard of a 'battle' from that...whoeverit was that had stopped him.

Slinking up to the edge of the clearing he watched as two of the two-legged Jivvins crossed swords. Were they trying to kill eachother? He shook his head as he thought about the fight he'd had with Aara. That hadn't been nice and all it had done was make things worse.

He snorted as his blade came in contact with the other man's sword. "I have size and skill working my favor. I also have quality." He smirked as he leaned in close, their swords crossed between them for a moment before he pushed off.

He then froze and that might have been his downfall as far as the battle was concerned. His ears ticked towards the sound of movement and he turned about, lowering his sword to a ready position. "Who goes there? Show yourself."

"You mean you have your ego" He may not have swung his sword around like Eos but when he did he at least swung his with purpose.

As Eos paused he raised his sword to knock the other in the head with the flat of the blade but lowered it when he realised that the other had heard something. He wasnt going to strike Eos when he wasnt looking, that would have defeated the purpose of beating him fair and square.

He rested his sword on his shoulder and looked off where Eos was shouting.

-----------------------------------

Damn, he'd been heard. Shaking his head and cursing whatever leaf or twig he had stepped on he took a slow step out from under the cover of the trees.

Thoes two were bigger than him, mostly because they were on two legs, and they had metal weapons. He'd be in deep s**t if they decided he really wasnt supose to be where he was.

It would have been beneath the other Uuthli to attack when his back was turned. Such a low blow was reserved for cheap fighters and those who were determined to win... Those much like himself. They had agreed on a fair fight though (Or, rather, Leo had. He'd simply nodded.) so a fair fight it was going to be.

Fair fights did not include strangers barging in on their battle though.

He sheathed his sword, tucking it away in favor of crossing his arms over his chest. "Idiot llar. Not a familiar one either. Probably lost." He was speaking about Kuro to his companion, even if he could have been speaking directly to Kuro from the way he was glaring.

His gaze then softened as he parted his lips, speaking very slowly as if he didn't expect an 'outsider' to understand him anyways. "Are. You. Lost?"
PostPosted: Tue Aug 15, 2006 5:41 pm

He almost shook his head as Eos spoke, almost. He should have expected nothing less from the other Uuthil though. Placing his sword in the band around his pants he walked over to where Eos was standing.

He was going to defend the poor red, probably lost (amazing Eos was right for once), Jivvin but the red one spoke before he could get anything out. "oh my...."

His lips pulled back in a growl. "Great. I come looking for someone intelligent and i get an idiot." He stalked out from under the trees and into the sun. "Dont talk to me like i am a child you a**."

He'd already been stopped by one tall two-legged idiot, he didnt need two more stopping him. He had things to do, places to get, and things to learn and none of that involved two blond whatever they weres

He blinked for a moment and then, quite out of character, he laughed. Laughed hard and loud. "Hear that, Leo? The little llar has a mighty bark. Careful there, llar. With a bark like that you just might get caught somewhere that you're not supposed to be."
PostPosted: Tue Aug 15, 2006 5:57 pm

He reached out and very casualy cuffed Eos in the head. "I told you not to call me that" He dusted his hand off and took a step toward Kuro.

"Welcom little friend of the Dark. Dont mine him. I seem to have left his muzzle at home"

He looked between the two for a moment before his eyes settled on Eleos. "So you're the idiots keeper? Then i shall speak to you."

He sat back on his haunches. "Do you know where the village is? I am trying to find someone that can .... help me"

He brought a hand up to the back of his head, rubbing it gently as he scowled, stepping up to nearly hip-check the other winged-one aside, glancing down at the crimson llar. "No man is my keeper and I've not yet found the woman able to keep up with the job." He snorted softly before letting a smirk curve his lips. "We do know where the village is, but there would be more trouble than you're worth if we brought you back there... Or told you how to find it... So we won't."
