This idea came to me while I was listening to some Country music, and realized I wanted to write a fic based on the song but I simply didn't have the time. Instead, I'm challenging you to write me that fic. Prizes are offered, and every week I'll have a new song for you to try! So, read the lyrics and get writing!

Okay, this how the contest works. Every week, I'll post a song (including lyrics and/or a download if I can find it). What you have to do is come up with a fan fic that is inspired by it in some way. It can be any character, coupling, or relationship you chose.
Challenges will be posted every Monday. You have until Friday to write a short fic and submit it to me as established in the rules/entry form. The members will begin voting Friday night, and will have until Sunday night to vote for their favorites. I'll announce winners and award prizes Monday when I put up the new challenge.

Okay, the rules are fairly simple.
Rule #1: Fics can't be over a PG-13 rating. This is simple Gaia ToS, so I expect it to be followed.
Rule #2: All entries are to be submitted anonymosly. I will be the only one who knows which entry belongs to which person. So, don't tell anyone about your story. It's supposed to be secret.
Rule #3: You can enter, and win, as many times as you want. Because no one knows which story belongs to which person, there isn't a baised. It's just which story they think best represents the theme of the song.
Rule #4: All couples and relationships are welcome. Each entry will be clearly labeled, so if you don't like the couple don't read it. I would ask, however, that you give each story a fair reading before voting if you think you can. You may find that a couple you hate isn't so terrible when written well.

First Place: First place gets 1k and a banner for the sig (like mine) for a character or couple of their choosing.
Second Place: Second place gets 500 gold and an icon for the character of their choosing.
Third Place: Third place gets 300 gold.
