Okay to introduce myself, I'm Lauren and I'm from the town of Blue! Yesterday Hugh moved in. I had Hugh in my Gamecube version so I was really excited because he's cool. It made me a little less depressed that the last original town member and my best friend Moe moved away while I was on vacation. I couldn't really talk to Hugh yesterday but I can today!
Then I went to FantasyX's house so that I could buy his four leaf clover. I heard it makes you lucky. He has a really cool town, but I didn't get to stay very long or meet anyone because I told him he could come to my town and I would give him some modern furniture to complete his set.
Later on, Mike came to my town. He was going to buy my Golden Slingshot for 10,000 bells. Everything went smoothly, and after that I gave him a Blue Falcon. (I like to give people gifts...) I told him to feel free to roam my town and take all the fruit he wanted.
Then, while Mike was still in the town, Jarrod came over. I told Mike that Jarrod and I were going to make a big transaction. I was going to sell him two crowns for 1,500,000 bells and I told Mike not to interfere. So, me and Jarrod met outside my house. I dropped the crowns and the second Jarrod started dropping bells - Mike started taking them. I yelled at him and told him to give them back, and he did. He walked over towards the crowns but Jarrod scooped them up just in time. I think he was planning on stealing them!
I wanted Mike out of my town, but Jarrod wanted to stay a bit longer so I let him. While the two explored my town, I went on Nookbay (the site that we arranged the transactions) and reported him. While this was going on, Mike was trying to sell Jarrod the Blue Falcon. This is how their convo went...
Mike: Jarrod, how much will you pay for a Blue Falcon?
Jarrod: What is it?
Mike: A mario item.
Jarrod: How much does Nook buy it for?
Mike: One million bells.
Jarrod didn't buy it from him. Want to know why? Because Mike was lying to him about it. The black falcon is NOT a part of the Mario set - it is an item that can only be obtained by hacking and my friend got it for me. Nook does NOT buy it for one million bells.
I was very angry. When Jarrod was done in my town, everyone left. As soon as they were gone, I deleted Mike from my friend roster.
I e-mailed Jarrod and told him that I was sorry about Mike and that I would give him a REAL Mario item the next time he came to show him how sorry I was, and I did.
Moral of this entry? Watch out who you invite to your towns!
