Well, the first thing that comes to my mind is to not have so many subforums... I tend to read the main board, and the RP board and thats about it. Most of the other sub-forums are unnecesary and need not be visible or accessible.

We've got so many subforums that I'm not sure anything even fits in the main one except Real Life Issues.

I suggest that we slim down the subforums to 4 areas

1.) The main Forum
2.) RPs
3.) The Hall of Random Thoughts (Chatterbox)
4.) Help Desk

If absolutely needed I suppose we could throw in a crew area as well, although those often seem to be neglected.

noone wants to search through all those forums to see which are active...

For instance, should we suddenly have 50 users posting activly and 25 are creating art for other users, we could maybe then add a showcase area...
IF and only IF we were absolutely certain it would be used.
