Everytime I play right side I fail, no matter what song I choose. I could pick My Summer Love which I could usually get an A on and end up with a C if I'm lucky. It's probably because I played on the left ever since I started playing the game.
Does this happen to anybody else besides me?

Which side I play on doesn't usually affect me too much score-wise (unless the pads on one side are crap of course), but it's usually pretty uncomfortable.

Unless I play on Doubles, I literally have to be on the right side. I have to be on the right side of everything. It's an obsessive-compulsive thing. Being on the left just gives me this weird uneasy sick feeling. D:

I feel uncomfortable on the right pad at arcades, but it doesn't effect my score much. AA's are just slightly worse AA's, A's are slightly worse A's, anything that I usually get lower than an A on isn't effected by the side.

Oh crap. It's like you read my mind. Every time, I MUST be on the left side. The right side has some sort of curse tied to my name. There's always glare on the screen, one of the buttons that works for everyone else dosen't work for me, ect. Scary....
((Except I nearly fell off the platform once on the left side. That was because I was trying the entire song turned backwards. Yes, I am aware that I am a dumbass. Thank you for informing me again...))

Right side for me just puts more strain on my body. I use more energy. Don't know why I use more energy. But I do.

PepsiMan6690 Right side for me just puts more strain on my body. I use more energy. Don't know why I use more energy. But I do. Probably because it's harder to read on the right side, if you're used to the left side. It's like if you play on a screen that's 2 feet from the ground all your life, then you go to a friend's house and their TV's 5 feet from the ground. You're gonna have more trouble reading, you're going to have to concentrate more, concentration uses energy. And thus, Tofu's scientific DDR factoid of the day.

Im pad-ambidextrous...er...whatever. I sort of prefer the right side though, actually.
There was no difficulty in switching sides for the first time, etc. Dont see why there would be. All I see are arrows and arrow targets, so they can be anywhere and I wont mind I suppose.

And that is one of the many reasons why you can pwn my a** off at DDR. I have a specific place where I look for my arrows and arrow targets. Two places actually. They alter based on whether there's 3 inches of platform under me or 1 inch.

Wow, all these people saying they hate the right pad, I always take the right pad if I can help it. It's just a thing I have i guess, the first time I ever played was on the right side, and since then, if I have a choice, I take the right one. But I don't think it makes a difference to me score-wise, I do just as good on the left, I just prefer right.

I never think while playing DDR. I just see the arrows and hit them accordingly as best as I can.
