It's not discharge. I know what discharge looks like it's sticky somewhat and jelly-like for me. Clear to white-ish.

But there's another substance oozing. I have no idea what it is. I get it month round, near my period or not. Though I get more of it as I'm ovulating. It's white to yellow to brown, the color can vary. It has the consistency of vaseline intensive care lotion but not as wet. The smell varies day to day, from almost-pleasant to downright RANCID. Like dead bodies or rotten egg.

Any idea's what it is or is is still discharge? Is discharge supposed to smell bad?

A rancid smell at ANY time in your discharge is not a good sign. Regardless of what is normal, and by the definition (Something that is discharged, released, emitted, or excreted), it is discharge.

It's not a good sign, you should get to a doctor.

Get it checked out.
It could be a yeast infection, but you didn't say itching.
Or it could just be you're body cleaning itself.
If you're concerned go get it checked out.

no there's no itching. I've never had a yeast infection before, I've had fungus infections though, during ovulation. I ended up with white lumps *looked like a wet scab or an ulcer or something* down near my opening and saw the doctor for that. He suggested to stop wearing anything tight, or any jeans/shorts if I could avoid it during hot weather when I'm sweating. The heat and sweat caused the infection. I was to wear cotton breathable panties, and skirts as often as I could so air could get to the area and keep it dry.

I haven't had any infections since and that was years ago. But for as long as I've known, even as young as 8 or 9 *what? I was curious!* my v****a and it's inside has given off a distinct bad odor.

like everyone says, that could be a serious problem. from what you describe that is most likely a bacterial infection but still you need to have a doctor check you out IMMEDIATLEY. Some vaginal infections can cause kidney damage if left untreated. Go have a doctor check this out.

If you're not sure on what it is then go see a doctor. They could tell you what is going on. You might have some type of infection. Infection=BAD!
