The endless and rolling sea is home to many a creature, from mer to guppy, the sea seems harmonious enough. But who knows truly what lies in the depths? Every time a wave crashes, it could just as easily be war...

Avagdu was sailing the Sea of Ergos. His serpent, Teiveil, was sleeping snuggled aaginst the base of the large mast. Avagdu would pop down into the cabin where kept a victim chained to the floor. He was barely alive, and had not been fed for a while. He stepped over the man to a desk that had a map. He drew some lines supposedly meaning a trail but...who knows. He walked back out and saw his serpent coiled near the mast. "Teiveil...you have not been fed have you?" Avagdu walked back int the cabin and unlatched the victim. He walked back out and threw him to the floor. "Teiveil...eat," Avagdu turned and walked to the head of the boat.

Kendas head broke the surface of the water around the base of the intruding vessel. Odd...no seafaring people had dared intrude before on these sparkeling waters...The sun was setting...careful to remain in the shadows, s/he crept closer.

He stared over into the vast sea. Avagdu has gotten bored of waiting to land. Where was this place eh? He has been at sea for days and no sign of land. He grew impacient. The food was becoming scarcer each day, and Teiveil was getting restless.

When Kenda had come abreast of the side of the boat, s/he creapt along the wood planking until s/he could see the sole seaman uboard the deck. He looked dark and forboding, but alluring. S/he knew this man was innately dangerous...

Avagdu sensed another presence. He turned around swiftly and saw what looked like a fish. "Who are you?" He said coldly, but with interest. He has never seen this type before, but was ready to 'do' it at any time. He slowly readied himself for any kind of a battle and brought out his wires. He conceled them though, so as to not bring up a fight just yet.

Kenda froze as s/he heard the mans voice, like nails. Slowly and remaining in the shadows, he began to sink in the depths. Perhaps, if he were lucky, the man would think he was just a fish, and he wouldn't have to dash away....

Avagdu smirked. "Stop hiding. You are only making it worse," He said annoyed now. He looked through the darkness. "Teiveil..." The large serpent looked up from his slumber. "Find out what is hiding," The serpent slinked across the ship and almost into the water.

It wasnt working... Sensing the presance of a predator, Kenda dashed. diving deep into the water and swimming swiftly. If only he could reach the saftey of the shadowy rock crevice at the bottom of the harbor...this creature couldnt see in the dark of the water, could it?

Teiveil growled and dashed towards the retreating figure. Its eyes glowed menacingly. Avagdu looked over the boats' side and smiled. "I knew it..." He whispered to himself. "Stupid myr people," He scoffed angrily. "Mischievious little bastards,"

Grasping the rock, he pulled himself underneath it and clung to the corally blue underbelly, praying in his own language that the creature could not swim...

Teiveil crashed into the water and sped up to the myr man...or woman...It bared its teeth and swam faster. Avagdu lost site of Teiveil, but was confident that Teiveil wouldn't come back empty handed. Avagdu smiled and sat down awaiting for Teiveils' return.

Teiveil growled again. He sensed the Myr, but lost sight of him. The serpent stopped immidiatly and looked around. He looked around the coral and did not seem to find it. Avagdu grew impacient.

Kenda held as still as s/he dared, but could feel his/her foot slipping off the surface of the rock. The water wouldnt carry the sound far since it was minute, but a small cluster of coral dust was shaken free by the movement.
