'Ello all. I have an idea. It's not a big idea that will forever alter the Muffcake Tavern and all who choose to inhabit it. But, in my opinion, it's a GOOD idea. A good idea that will bring in new Muffcakers and perhaps revive this guild anew.

All right. My idea. (Not only is it a good idea, but a simple one, at that.) We start a Muffcake Tavern RP in Barton Town. It'd be a casual place for people to meet and chill, without all the hassle of profiles and characters and whatnot. To make the RP more interesting, we can have a guild-run backstory - something along the lines of a mysterious stranger who haunts the tavern, or something like that. (I have a couple of mule accounts that could actively play this role.) A simple idea, no?

Basically, we'd ALL run this RP. We can all participate in the RP, and a handful of us can be bartenders and waitresses - or not. Just hang out in the thread, and people will come and chat.

The reason I haven't just gone off and started the thread is that I want this to be somewhat of a group effort. As long as I know that a few people will be behind the RP, making sure it stays afloat whilst the rest of the owners are off and busy with real life, then we can start this Muffcake Tavern RP.

Sooo, when's a good time for everyone for us to start up the RP? It'd be good if a few of us were online at the same time when we start it up, I think. And here's a sample of the introduction to the RP...

>> A cobblestone street, dimly lit by lanterns and fireflies, winds into the darkness. Wooden buildings rest limply on both sides of the street, creaking and whispering in the soft wind. A corner street sign reads, "Baker Street." Bakertown appears to be asleep for the night.

But the sounds of laughter, clinking glasses, crude jokes, and music manage to cut through the sleepy silence. One squat little building is still awake, as it will be long after the sun rises over the hills. It is a musty wooden building, decorated sparingly with colorful lights. The square windows are rose-tinted and glazed, ensuring the privacy of the goings-on inside. Its heavy wooden door is wide open, letting in the cool night air.

Inside the merry little tavern, some drunks are hunched over by the bar along the left wall, where a bartender lazily polishes a glass. In the center of the room is a small dance floor, alongside several wooden tables and chairs. Along the far wall are a jukebox, pool table, bookshelf, darts, and the entrances to the lavatories. A few couches are set up in the corner, where a young couple can be seen, leaning towards one another and whispering earnestly. A staircase leads to the second story, where a few privileged guests are permitted to stay overnight.

A mysterious figure lingers outside the tavern, staring up at its swinging wooden sign before disappearing into the night. The sign above the door reads as follows: "The Muffcake Tavern. Welcome home." <<

All right, great! When would be a good time to meet up to launch the RP? Sometime in the morning, I'm guessing, when at least three of us (out of Stalth, Izu, Madsie, diav, Kisunti, and I) are around, just to get things going. whee

I don't have computer access at work, but I've got the day off on Friday. Depends on when everyone else wants to launch the RP... sweatdrop
