 The hot air blows as the sun beats down from directly above Draken Desert. Sandstorms whip through the area and ravage anything in their path. Some of the elder residents claim that the storms are the breath of a monsterous dragon fast asleep beneath the sand (hence the name). Others still claim to have seen the beast. But when the violent storms subside, the land is flat and golden, broken only by the dark brown buttes. A perfect place, if you like the heat and the sun...or if you wanted to hide...

Jager Morder walked throught the torrent of sand that danced across the harsh landscape. He kept a tight hold on his hat, and an even tighter hold on the leash in his hand, so as not to be seperated from the strange dog creature by his side. The dog wined a bit, and turned his face away from the blash, but what was really amazing about it, aside from it's near human appearance, was it's gift of speach.
"Jager, we're not going to last much longer in here!" It said. "We need to find shelter!"
The hunter knew that, but he couldn't seem to find any cave to hide in. Soon he found some shelter by a rock, it was scant at most, but they both managed, and stayed there to wait out the storm.

Walking steadily through the storm, a shrouded figure approached, covered head to toe in a worn earth-brown traveling cloak.
"Hello stranger!" He called above the winds to jagers shadow. "Not the best weather to be out eh? Follow me out of this storm!"
Hoping the man would follow, the stranger turned and began to walk away.

((Whoot! Yami! I feel so alone here! crying My Jager is all angsty with no one to be angsty to!))
Jager could barely see this strange savior. He called out to him, hardly able to hear his own words. "Wait! Who are you?" He stumbled as he made his way towards the stranger, but he managed. Amicus himself was having a bit of trouble as well.
"Hmph." He growled. "And here I thought most humans didn't know about compassion."
The sarcastic remark was lost on his human companian..since he couldn't hear it.

The stranger led Jager slowly towards a deep cavern that seemed to fall away into the sand like a whole in the ground.
"IN HERE!" They cried.

Jager and Amicus jumped, trusting that if this stranger wished to kill them, there would've been less troublesome ways to do so. Like leaving them in the sandstorm for instance....

The stranger walked a little deeper into the cave and sighed, sitting down and leaning against the wall.
"Make your self comfortable." They said, lighting a torch. "Do you need some water?"

Jager shook his head, he looked suspiciously at the stranger. "Who are you?" He asked. "Why do you hide yourself?"
Amicus shook his head and sighed sadly. "I would like some water." He glared at Jager for being so rude. "My rude friend here would like some as well."

Nodding, and ignoring Jager's question, the stranger passed him a canteen and poured a dish full for amicus. While the creature was drinking, they spoke again.
"Arent you a beautiful creature...?" The stranger began to pet amicus gently. "What kind of animal are you?"

Jager 'huffed' and sat in silence. He still didn't trust this stranger and if Amicus wanted to get into trouble, then let him. Jager kept a sidglance on the person as he drank some water.
Amicus smiled. "I'm a dream creature actually, all the way from the fea forest." He lapped up some water happily and continiued. "We're both from there actually. Jager here is derived from a little town that's located on the edge of the forest. Just a bunch of farmers really."
Jager flinched at the mention of his homeland, but said nothing.

The Stranger nodded and continued to gently stroke Amicus' head.
"I did not know there were creatures such as you in the forest." They said. "And a town on the edge of the dark fae...isnt that a bit dangerous?"

Jager laughed what could be considered a sarcastic, 'Ha! If only you knew' kind of laugh. Amicus sighed and shook his head.
"My kind learned long ago that to hide means to live. And yes..it is very dangerouse, but I consider quite a few of them a very brave and honorable bunch." He starred hard at Jager. "And more then a few of them were quite good at understanding others."
Jager conveniently turned away and looked at the rock patterns.

((Sand in the Loincloth..nice...think after I do Jager's hystory I should make the town he live in in here? I need to make an idea of it first..but it would be interesting.))
"That is none of your concern." Jager was glaring at the stranger now, and he stood up and handed the water back to them. "Thank you for your hospitality, now we must be going. Right Amicus?"
The Dream Creature sighed and got up. "As you wish. Thankyou stranger."
