At my school, we practice in a parking lot. A parking lot with a football field painted on it crying . It hurts the feet, especially with the chair-stepping.
Oh, and we go to camp at a college about 40 minutes away. We march about 5 minutes to get to the field we use, which is conveniently positioned right next to some houses. While we play loud in the mornings...Heheeheh, Im sadistic like that. Oh well, it's payment for them sitting on their back porches, drinking water, whilst we sweat our asses off in 90 degree heat marching.

We have two fields to practice on.
The grass field that is nice and cool and facing away from the sun, but is a b***h to practice on in the rain
And the parking lot, that doesn't get muddy or swarmed with mosquitoes, but otherwise sucks.
We go to camp up in the mountains, and have a nice grass field to tear up and destroy.
There's no backup field, but strangely it never rains, so we never have to worry about it.

We use the football field and the ginormous school parking lot. The field gets easiyl muddy, which sucks, and are school is right by some woods so we get quite a bit of insects.

Once a week we have to practice in a parking lot with a field painted on it. A mall parking lot. It's humiliating. But the rest of the week we have a real football field to practice on.

We practice on the practice field for football if we don't practice on the field itself.

We practice in our schools parking lot...yeah...it's like 90 or above this week, and we go from 9a.m.-4p.m., then we've got a break from 4-6, and we come back at 6p.m. and go till 9 or 9:30...it's great...extremely hot, but kinda fun...

we practice in the north gate parking lot with a football field painted on it, but occasionally we sometimes go on the field normally we cant because our practice is always during a football or soccer game

My school is brand new so we don't even have a field. Plus, we're so small we can't do field shows. We just march around the parking lot.

That just reminded me! My band is big, so we lways use the hash marks to line up. So-- we get to our first show of the season, and alas! There are no hash marks! Ahh! Oh, and my BD decided to do teh same damn show again this year.

We have a practice field(grass) with the lines and everything painted on it. When we're not on there, we're in the stadium on the football field.

we dont have to do chair steping so its all good. We have our only little quad area that we practice but in order to get to the football feild we have to roll step up this really steep hill

I'm so glad our school isn't the only one that practices on a parking lot. We have this huge metal podium thats as tall as the school by one of the parking lots and no one can park in that parking lot in the fall cause we go out during class. That sucks cause then we go to our next class all stinky and sweaty. -_- The only time we get to use the football feild is the day of a game and in the morning before a competition. We still do well so I guess it's not to bad
