What do you think is the best bass wah pedal for under $100? I was thinking about the Snarling Dogs Bawl Buster, but I can't find anyone with experience on it.

Look for a shop that might cut you a deal on a morley. Don't buy a crybaby, and look for one with optical control.

From my experience they tend to break more often, and morley's dont tip over as much as crybabys since they're a bit wider. Which I suppose would help on stage and stuffs.

Well Ive had trouble with one. I purchased the dunlop Crybaby Bass wah and the darn thing started messin up on me like after....two three weeks of use. The lever on the inside that turns the wheel to actually make it "Wah" was skipping notches. I opened it up and the white plastice piece that is suppose to hold it snug on the wheel was like pushed back. It was easy to fix, but I still think its kinda BS that it happened and I had to fix it. Itll probable happen again, I think what im going to do is replace the metal washer under it with a rubber one the same size so it wont slide back anymore. I might have just gotten one that came out of the factory bad though, because other then myself I have not heard of anyone having problems.... sort of a contradictory post lol.

It really just depends on the crybaby you get. Tom Morello went through like 20 before he found the one that had the exact sound he was looking for. And if anyone knows effects, it's Tom Morello.
