Yeah... I had two friends, call them J and D.
J was kind of homophobic, and when I came out to him he was all freaked out. But later he came around and now we are roommates!
D was also homophobic, but went to college and got all kinds of weird ideas in his head, so when I came out to him he wasn't so freaked any more. Then he disappeared for 16 years. But lately he sent me some e-mails.

So my advice would be, give your friends some space and let the idea sink in. Don't act any different. Let them know you're still you. Hope that it all works out!

just act normal, or tell her you have the hots for somebody else... she's just getting used to you being bi, that's all. if you keep acting the same, she'll see that it really has no effect other than who you go on dates with.

They're right. If you give your friend a bit of space, and continue to be yourself, she'll most likely come around. Or, perhaps, she may ignore it. You may never get her to agree with your "choice" (>>; ), but you may still be able to be friends. If that's a problem with you, then it's up to you whether or not to continue the friendship in the long run.

Basically, it depends on the type of person she is and whether or not she's willing to live and let live. In my experience, which isn't the norm, I assure you, people do tend to come around. It often takes someone you care about to make you come around, but it can definitely happen.

Congratulations on coming out to her, and I wish you luck.
