Ehhh, you were expecting this, YOU KNOW IT! I don't like it that much... sweatdrop You must understand, I don't like the Crucifixion (or any other religious scene for that matter) displayed in some abstract surreal manner, it seems to undermine the whole essence of it, makes it less serious. Now as art, it's perfectly fine (I actually like it, good job) but I don't think art of that nature should be used for devotions or veneration, simply because it sort of distorts the reality of it all, you know what I mean?*
*otherwise I think it's quite fantastic

Ok. From what ive seen of Marysservant i have to agree with him for the most part. However in an attempt to make Religion modern without sacraficing the reverence i would change my stance a bit. I think this would be a perfectly fine wall crucifix, like a house wall or something, or a screensaver, or anything of the like.
But i would not want this in a church as it is a little too progressive for that i think(though it would fit in well in many many churches, and might even bring something religious back to several Catholic churches i can think of.
It does look nice, and we can all thank you, i think, for keeping your art religious, we all like the renaissance art, but the renaissance are over, so it must be possible for modern day people to use what advantages we have to add something to religious art.
Since i complained i think i at least i owe you my suggestions on what i think would improvee it.(as a better wallish crucifix, or even a liberal chapel)
Suggestions:
1)Add some people(ie Mary and John) at the foot of the Cross
2)I do not know if the lightning bolt things have any pattern of significance, they do not that i would see, so at least make them look a bit more purposeful by connecting the wounds or something.
(of course you do not have to listen to me, im not really that visually aware of things, but its just what i would do)
