I prefer the dub voices anyway in my case like namely David Kaye as Treize he suits him pretty well.
But the guy who did the dub Heero not so good though.
I'll go in to more detail later though once I look up the cast on IMDB. ninja

For me it's a mixed bag. Some of the dub voices kick a** (prefer Quatre and Wu Fei), but some aren't as good as the originals (Heero and Relena).

BTW, I've heard from a reliable source that Mark Hildreth is a real a-hole and dislikes GW (or at least his role in it).

Hm could be possible considering how fun Heero was I wonder if his Japanese actor liked playing him or not also.

Oh, Heero's Japanese voice actor is Hikaru Midorikawa, one of the most prominent seiyuu. He absolutely LOVES playing Heero, and loves the popularity Wing got him; otherwise, he probably wouldn't play Heero in all the video games that involve Wing, such as the Super Robot Wars series games. As an amusing little fact, he also playtests Super Robot Wars; one rumor going around is that his help is the reason Wing always gets a good showing in that series.

Also, I've heard that at one convention, Midorikawa-san gave Mark Hildreth a Heero keychain as a sign of friendship, and Mark's response was lukewarm at best.

Hmph that's weird.
I know for a fact Scott McNeil loved doing Duo's voice I heard.

To be honest I'm half afraid to listen to the japanese voice acting. Most cases it drives me nuts switching from sub to dub. I love how Scott and the others did, albeit Mark could have done better, and I don't want to ruin my thoughts of them.

Yup, yup, I was lucky enough to be at that convention heart Mark seemed quite uncomfortable with the whole situation, I think he'd prefer to be a face actor than a voice actor, he was actually in a short-lived series on PAX network, name escapes me at the moment. although he's done other gigs I think its more a way to pay the bills than anything else. Anyway, I think Mark had no idea what he was getting into by agreeing to appear at Anime North, he was very pleasant to individual fans however and willing to talk and sign autographs.

Best part was meeting Kirby Morrow, I truly died and went to heaven 4laugh

Here are those cast lists I mentioned.

Wing series:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0176379/

Endless Waltz:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0260191/

Hm Jim Byrnes did Dermail and Dekim, interesting I always thought it was someone else.

I loved Brian Drummond as Zechs though pretty much most of the time though I noticed there was a point where his voice was different before Milliardo revealed his real self to his father's portrait, did anyone else notice that?

Brad Swaile I loved more then the Japanese version of Quatre honnestly I heard more pure emmotion and effort come out from this guy.

Saffron Henderson I liked as Noin also, it's no supprise I've heard some if not most of the voices in some of the Zoids series before I even saw Wing.

Then of course Scott Mc Neil and Kirby Morrow have already been mentioned but I still liked them for their roles they did.

Ian James Corlett did Quinze is supprising though. eek

Enuka Okuma who did Lady Une was quite good.

Can't find Hilde's english actor though, I liked her voice and her actress did a good job with her the few times Hilde did appear.

Oh, of course Scott McNeil loved playing Duo. He's just plain a nice guy all over, and popular with the fans because he's just so much fun to hang about with. My GF got to talk with him on the phone once and he said she had the perfect Relena voice.

And Mark was also in the Legend of Earthsea miniseries; he played the main character's rival. Of course, Kirby has appeared in Stargate SG-1 as a Tokra.

And according to Anime News Network, Hilde was played by Marcy Goldberg.

It took me a long time to relize that Kirby Morrow did the voice of Trowa and that Brad Swaile, Quatra, did the voice of Amuro Ray as well.
It took me five seconds to relize that Scott McNeal was the voice of Duo when i was watching InuYasha

I must say Marcy did a good voice for Hilde though as I mentioned earlier I liked the sound of her voice.

If i think right Scott also did the voice of Tsume in Wolf's Rain. I am maybe wrong on that. And yeah. Scott played as Kouga in Inuyasha. I might be able to find all of the shows and movies he voiced for. Let me go look.

Scott is also in Fullmetal Alchemist as Hohenheim Elric; he did the job as a favor to Vic Mignona (the actor who played Edward) because they're friends. Of course, Tiffany "Asuka" Grant and Johnny Yong "Vash" Bosch also guest-starred in FMA for the same reason.
