We do have lots of favorites among all the characters out there. This topic isn't for them. There are characters we all hate, and this it the place to list them. Here are my hated characters and my reason for hating them
Pure hate [people]
1. Hojo; Who wouldn't hate this b*****d after all the lies to told to Sephiroth. Sure he is the father, but in the long run he is to be blamed for Sephiroth being all crazy like that. Plus the fast he was an idiot for thinking Jenova was an ancent
2. Seymore; What is there is say besides him killing his own father and trying to destory Spira by becoming the next Sin? Enough said
3. Jenova; Simple, Because she is a f**king ugly b***h that should never exist
Pointless aeons
1.Yojimbo; an aeon you have to pay to attack?! No thanks He isn't worth it!
Pointless playible characters
1, Cait Sith; What is the point of having him in the party besides giving the damn keystone to the Turks and spy on Shinra?
2. Edea; a playible villian? Thats nuts.... even if she was really a good person, You still have to fight her...

Just so happened that Hojo was sick enough in the head to stab a needle into the woman carrying his child. Jenova: Ya, it was an evil thing, but all it wanted was a place to rule. Seymore: Wouldnt you want to take over the world like that? I know I would. Yojimbo: Is awesome. Dont know why hes here. Hes a really good Aeon if youre willing to pay him and rely on a tidbit of luck. Cait Sith: Without him, Cloud and the gang get absolutely no information from within Shinra, and therefore sacrifice Midgar to Diamond Weapon as well as allow Hojo to fully charge his son with several shots from the Sister Ray. Thatd be nice, wouldnt it? Edea: As you said, she was a generally good character. So why not allow it? And you got to fight as Seymore in X, with Kain along side you and against you in IV, and Sephiroth with you in VII for a short time, so why not allow it to happen more. It makes for a good plot piece.

So if they aren't on the list then I'll spare everyone my insane ramblings on why I hate Sephiroth and Vincent (Oops xd ).

Quina. I've said it on another thread; s/he doesn't have much of a purpose and kind of ruins the coolness of the game for me. Hojo I really dislike as well. Zorn and Thorn are annoying, but I don't really hate them, and the same goes for Seymour. Edea, actually, was one of my favorite characters in VIII, and I didn't use Yojimbo much (I use all of my money to pay my blitzball team), but he was cool.

It makes for a good plot piece. Ok, you do have a good point about Yujimbo and the villians... here is how I see it Yujimbo. I am not willing to use gil for attacks... and when I played when I payed a lot of gil for him to attack the attack was weak. As for Edea you make a good point about other villians in the party. But every case its different. Sephiroth is a NPC so even in battle you don't control him. And for Seymore it was the one time only thing. However I do believe the timing wasn't too good...

That really made me hate that guy. Just when I thought I had finally killed him in Bevelle, BAM! he appears yet again on Mt. Gagazet! evil Hojo well, what can I say...he was just plain creepy.
