I Am Woman, Hear Me Roar

In her natural form, Bennali Sundragyn is a sleek and slender female dragon. She is scaled in opalescent silver-grey, and the leathery crest upon her head and neck, which she may raise and lower as she wishes, is pale yellow gold streaked with darker gold. At the tip of her tail is a small caudal spade of similar golden striping. Gold also highlights her wings, which have nearly a five metre span when fully spread, which is more than her length from head to tail. She stands 1.75 m at the shoulder. She has opposable thumbs on her front feet, and claws on all four paws. She is not truly reptilian, being more closely related to the warm-blooded dinosaurs and their ilk, and has external ears, being in shape somewhat similar to those of a horse or goat.

It has been a long time since she looked like that, however. Sunny, these days, is seen as a young human woman, in her early twenties, with a puffy head of pale blonde hair. Her eyes are blue, as they are in her natural dragon shape, with a slight tint of grey-mauve. She freckles, burns easily, and is terribly nearsighted. Her hands are the hands of a teenage boy rather than those of a man or woman, with short, blunt nails that are usually dirty. In the puff of blonde hair are a pair of short silver horns.

She lives happily as a human. She reads often, writes often, draws a little but very badly. She plays saxophone and pennywhistle, the latter self-taught. She tends not to talk around other people unless she knows them fairly well, but can be quite chatty if she’s caught in the right mood. She is bisexual. She loves machinery, and the reason her hands are so often dirty is because she’s often found under the hood of a car. She’s fairly easy going, but has a fierce temper and a sharp tongue when provoked.
