After several hard months of fighting with the mods, it has been clear to me that we're not going to win by being the very thing we hate the most: ASSHOLES. Do we really feel that the mods arent doing a good job? DO we feel as if we're being picked on for minor infractions and getting huge bannings? Well this has to be because the mods look to us for help as well. We're Regs. We are the ones that all the newbies and N00bs want to be. So when it comes down to the rules, we have to follow them and apply them to our Gaian life here. Not only that, why dont we take what we know now, and show the newbs and n00bs how to act in the threads?

I say from here on out, no more bullshit. We do infact love video games and we love the VGD. Why not prove that we do?

1. No more whinning. Why? Because that seems like all we do and it takes away from the fun that was once was the VGD.

2. Follow the rules. We're not perfect, but the more we help the VGD the less likely we'll get banned and the mods will show some lenancy.

3. Be nice and curtious to the n00bs and newbs. We know theres going to be a ton of assholes. Just report them and let the mods deal with them accordingly. With great power, comes great responsiblity. Lets use this to our advatnage shall we?

4. Have some fun. Take a newbie under your wing. You see a thread thats empty and lonely try to help them. remember when you was new and wanted someone to answer your question in a thread? But no one answered it? How did you feel? So some love and respond to them. They'll love you.

Thats all I can think of for now. But if you agree or feel like you have any more ideas then post them. heart

I've become kinder in the VGD, recently, not that I was ever that.. Off to other users, anyway.

those of us who flame and stuff at the n00bs are actually hypocrits for that very reason. Wow, I never thought of it this way, but I'm glad my first responce in the "ATTN: Everyone" thread brought up the reason for this thread being made.
