After looking through the requested tutorial thread, I decided to take a shot at making a tutorial for perspective, seeing as I know it can be a very difficult subject for many starting artists.
This is reall my first tutorial, so be nice. I hope it helps you aspiring artists, cuz it really helped me.

Understanding perspective seems to be easy, and I do think I get the concept.

However, when composing the anatomy and proportions of the figure in a different perspective, I do have some difficulty.

Do you have any pointers on making that task seem simpler? I mean it's hard to observe people from a birds eye veiw and such.

An important thing to remember is what comes first.
The head, of course.
Then, there are the shoulders and chest.
A bird's eye view generally doesn't show much of the torso, so that's the least of your worries.
Another important thing to remember is the fact that things get smaller from a distance, and bigger when they're closer.
The body is nothing but curves.
When using certain perspectives, curves are very important.
The degree of curves in the body help define the body and the point of view one looks at the character.
The best advice I can give you is to study up on the anatomy of what you're drawing.
A good understanding of the body and the muscles helps give you an idea of where they should go and what types of curves to use.

Neh.
I hope this helps.

I love this tutorial. It's extremely helpful. I really don't have any pictrues to show you because I'm still practicing (I just finished looking over this tutorial about five minutes ago) and scribbling, but my perspective doodles are looking better already. Still horrible, but a little better than before. Maybe, if I actually decide I like a picture, I'll show you.

Thanks. biggrin

Its very good I understand the everything except the bird eye's view part. xD;;
When ever I try to draw something like that or close to it, the person comes out fat D:
Do you know why? sweatdrop

Grr...this would be so much easier to understand if I had a good grasp on anatomy. What I draw is usually pulled out of my butt, and even then my bodies look like crap. stare

I know it's just a head right now, but this has been so much help. I'll put up something better when I'm finished with my current project.
