"Welcome to our home. I'm Joanna. I like to cook, take long baths, and I enjoy taking walks. I also love animals. When Carly arrived at the orphanage, I took a liking to her. She seems a little of a trouble maker right now, but I can tell underneath all her cockiness and instigating. She really is a nice girl. She is just probably hurt or scared and hiding her true self behind a wall of pride and meanness." She stands there smiling when from behind her you see like you would in a shoujo anime. A girl towering with flames and the background in a raging inferno. "Don't be telling people all my stuff!!!!!" scream "God.. you're gonna ruin everything for me!" stressed gonk *runs off and slams a door behind her*
Joanna just rubs her head and looks a little embarrassed. "Ooops.. perhaps I shouldn't have told everyone my little psychoanalysis of her. Oh well, she doesn't really hate me. It's just one of those teenanger things. They get all angsty and think everything you do is ruining them."
Now, here is Carly:
She is 15. Her background story is hard to explain. She was given up for adoption as a child by her mother who was a runaway. But, her adoptive father had ... um.. well... his actions sort of made her a little disturbed. But still for having waved all those storms in her young life, Carly is a tough cookie. She speaks her mind. She sees what she wants; she goes after it never accepting defeat. The drawback to this is sometimes she can be dishonest in order to accomplish these things. This causes her to have trouble establishing and maintaing friendships. She definitely has trouble getting along with girls. She loves boys though. And, what's more.. boys do like her some.. But, sadly for her, she is the girl who boys don't always want to go steady with. They just want to try and make her a trophy on their wall.
Let us see how Carly will do here at the orphanage grounds. Perhaps the jadedness from her past will heal, and she will come around to making more friends. Also, maybe she'll learn some lessons on the value of honesty and integrity.
