Task 3: Your foal is tired and hungry... Well after the long and very drawn out process of you getting aquainted with your newest addition... The foal is looking pretty tired, and not to mention hungry. Create the foals stall (color scheme will affect the foal... so will other things). Once the stall is complete don't forget to get her some munchies! All items collected may be your own creation or anothers from Gaia. Please remember that the Mystic Farm apples and breed will not have the same effect on her as the other foals. Good luck!Quests
These are things that will structure how your foal grows.Quest 1: In the tower you acquired a dagger, a book, and a tapestry!! The dagger you gave to your Fae'Kat as a gift, and the tapestry well Andromeda is rather enjoying it isn't she... However, what in the world did you pick the book up for?? Did you ever realize it is staring at you!! I wonder what Andromeda can learn from this book?? I bet it can teach you something about that tapestry, and about the constellation Andromeda... and how the two are connected!!!

 ((Please note that the grounds were hand drawn by me all day Sunday..I do hope everyone can tell what each of the buildings are...if not here's some descriptionns as well^^)) Ah yes the Welcome to the .Kawaii Creatures =^_^= Sanctuary. My open arms to creatures great and small, and not to mention Andromeda's new home as well.
The biggest buliding is the main house, the adoption center for those of you that have visited. It contains various rooms for adoption nominees, my personal quarters, and finally a room specifically designed for my faekats as well. To the left of the main building is my storage compartment for all feed, necessities, and things needed to run such a loving and pristine agency.
To follow the polished pathways one would see my flower garden as it reached high in the adoring sunlight. That which kissed them and made them smile so. Past the garden did lie an age old willowtree that overhung, lightly touching a small pond teaming with colorful fish. And off to the right finally a stream quietly ran its course as the songbirds chirped the arrival of Summer on its way as well.
Carrying on down the path now turned to a fitting sandstone texture under your feet. There two buidings did lie, one larger than the other. The larger one housed the steeds, the Gaian horses given wings and horn's from the faerie's magical embrace. The second smaller building was built especially for Tara, and now Andromeda as well. To the left past the main stables another buiding did lie with more adoptions, supplies, and many secrets not enclosed to the public. Away from the view, set quietly from the back of the stables rested the paddock, where the younger and older horses did tread. Not to mention "Unicorn" my adoption who adopted me sweatdrop .
Tis a joyous place that I take to heart and soul and will forever hold dear.This is Andromeda's stall in which she helped pick the color for the interior. I think that's why she nuzzles my hair all of the time...is she drawn to the shade of purple I wonder? She also has stuff for her shelves that have not yet arrived that she personally picked out for her stall. She's so inquisitive to get attention and find things...I'm betting we'll be going on a lot of journies in her path to her enlightenment.

Well, it was quite established that Amdromeda likes berries, such as blackberries, raspberries and I'm sure on the strawberries part as well. But, as for blueberries she just gets cranky like the apples did before.
 
I've also found out my little filly likes lembas bread, which is a good thing on my behalf.
 ((More foodstuffs coming..when I find out what she likes^^)) Now being a member of the sanctuary is quite a treat, for hundreds of creatures roam the grounds and area. But, some to most will never meet the gaze of the lovely "changeling". So here is a brief list of her closest friends and family...~PROTECTOR~I myself, heiress to the kingdom of Ta'valsa, have become Andromeda's soul protector and guardian...((Please note: this pic is temporary due to the fact of an avie pic being done in the near future by someone special)) ~Stablemates~First off there is Tara, a fellow mare whom came from the Mystic Farms as well. She is a good natured lady whom watches over my Andromeda when I'm Away or busy with things of my own accord. She takes her own residence in a fellow stall next to the aspiring filly. And then there are the eight steeds bearing wings and one with a horn from the Gaia Horse Farms. Aerandir, Korundu, Yenersira, Arda, Rasaisse, Minyar (unicorn), Aislinn, and Lady Saissis. Each carries a personality in respective to them. They seem quite interested in the "Changeling" as she's fond of those magnificent wings upon their backs as well....~Watcher~"Unicorn" the creature from the mists whom adopted me, has taken an interest in Andromeda. She whose voice is like a feather's kiss, stands quiet and always observes everything around her.... ~Friends~My newest stablehand Guardian_Yami, who has been adopted by the horses themselves. I've seen him, perhaps in dreams since past. But, yet I remember not who this new stranger and friend really is. Perhaps Andromeda who captured my own heart, can open his as well... Lastly, are two of my favorite house guests, Hermione and Kalico; my prized Faekats. Two of the most curious residents I have living with me. One being sweet and quiet, while the other holds a personality of inquisitiveness and hyperness all rolled into one. Them seem attracted to the "Changeling" which leads me to wonder what's going to happen in the near future to myself and Andromeda...

Sky whispers loudly from behind Rogue. Rogue giggles and spins around, trotting back. "Ok, it's in there, I'm sure they will find it soon!" Rogue whispers back, and the two turn and trot back off the property to meet up with Siren who is waiting patiently on the road with a package full of goodies. They speed off to the next home on the list. When you open the package, you see...   There is a note attached which reads.... Note Dear Andromeda

Kawaii_Hime_Ceres Kawaii_Hime_Ceres ::Rouge comes walking up the dusty path, with on odd square wrapped in a paper back hanging from his mouth. Knowing he cannot stuff it into the mail box, he sets it next to it instead. There is a note taped to the package. Then Rouge sets back down the dusty path, and out of site.:: When unwrapped this is what you find:  Note Andromeda & Rein_Carnation: I was in the market yesterday, and found a few nifty pictures of the differnt things that are also named Andromeda. I though you two might get as much of a kick out of it as I did, so I put them into a college, and framed them! -Ceres SerasVictoria Seras wanders in slowly carrign something very soft and brown. She looks around for somone to give it to when she spots Rein_Carnation. "Ahh I hope I'm not intruding. I have a special delivery to a Rein_Carnation for Andromeda . Would that be you?" her words are quiet as she hopes not to bother anyone or interupt anyone. "Its a gift from Kawaii_Hime_Ceres! A soft and fluffy horse plushie from the plushie barnyard. I hope your little one enjoys it!"  Seras hands you the lovable plushie and walks back to Gamble and remounts him to ride on to the next delivery!

Task 1: April 17, 2004Kawaii_Hime_Ceres Task 1: Describe how you felt at the auction, then describe how you feel about owning a Changeling?
I looked at my curious buckskin appaloosa mare and she returned the same gaze back unto me. It was that anticipated look we both expressed. The one containing the sheer possibility of a new dream; an honor to fulfill. I smiled at Tara as her own expression was just as convincing as mine. I then turned my attention back to the white filly who was becoming acknowledgable to the presence of her current visitors. Opening her sleepy filled eyelids she began to focus more on Tara and I. And finally in a solitary instant I fell head over heels for her. Even contemplating of the long road ahead. I did not veer from my current thoughts to say the least.
So, with my head held high I quietly placed my heart felt bid for her. Then waited in a seemingly paitient state, but still an air of wonderment for the final outcome of the auction. For the remaining day I stopped in to visit the charming filly, and check the bid status as well.
When the big day arrived I was giddy as a child having learned the curious filly was now under my care. I knew the road would be full of obstacles and perils in our journey. But, I also acknowledged the dedication and commitment I could provide needed to guide her in her future path as well...

Kawaii_Hime_Ceres Task 2: Bring Andromeda home, and get to know her!
I smiled, as I looked around the main hall of the sanctuary then proceeded to my baking and sanctuary attendance. Moving in my pristine manner I worked with feeding, watering and grooming all of my creatures, which I loved so dear.
As the bread baked and lifted its wondrous smell throughout the room, I proceeded to my duties.
Heading down to Southern doors I walked outside and took the opportunity to intake the scenery. Straight ahead the stables did lie, with the corral positioned directly behind. The gorgeous weeping willow overhung over the fishpond to my right, as the second house containing more animals set off to my left. I breathed the fresh air then continued my walk down the stone path forward to the stables. There I stopped by the door and smiled watching the corral, where my Gaian steeds did roam and graze.
With a brief whistle, soft and sweet, I called out to them. And in their happiness they all greeted me in their shining grace and glory. With my own compassion I groomed and communicated with them. They then returned my affection with their own as well. The one I called "Unicorn" stood by the furthest reaches of the corral and watched me as she had since her arrival. She tossed her delicate white head and slowly in an eloquent manner made her way to me. I nodded to her and we exited the corral to the stables.
As we entered the doors the sweet smell of hay and fresh greens lingered on the warm breeze. Such a comforting feeling overtook me, as I wanted to see "her" once more. Tara quickly lifted her head over the stable doors and blew a "friendly" greeting. I playfully rubbed her soft velvety nose placing a loving kiss in my appreciation. Living in my moment of bliss, I heard a high pitched whinny and realized my newest "stable guest" had awoken finally. Leaning over the stable door I laid eyes on her. Such an adorable sight filled my heart with happiness as she looked for attention whisking her tail back and forth energetically.
Standing back I opened the door to enter her stall as Tara and "Unicorn" watched. The filly was ambitious as she pranced back and forth at my presence near her. I reached my hand out and she playfully nuzzled it and licked my fingertips. Her curiosity was so appealing as she seemed interested in my speech and attire. Everything I did not go unnoticed by the "Changeling." As she looked at me I decided to give her a namesake. Other than the normal, "Changeling or filly" as she had been called since we met.
I exited the stall and headed to the place that the hay was kept in. And there I seated myself to think.
The filly followed after me like a little puppy eager to please and be loved in return. I smiled at her and blinked as she trotted over to a window where the sun’s caress made her shine like a distant brilliant star.
And that’s when it hit me, a name worthy of one as genuine as the "filly" herself.
And I smiled and bent over to scratch between her velvety soft ears. "I shall call you Andromeda.” I said as I spoke softly to the "Changeling” “Daughter to Cassiopiea, wife to Perseus, and queen of Tiryns." The foal shook her head as if she knew that was her name, then snorted a high pitched whinny afterwards.
I smiled knowing that our time was going to be a long journey. But with Andromeda’s encouragement we could overcome anything...

So, yesterday I went out and picked the season's fresh raspberries containing both the black and red varieties. Such a great harvest for them this time of year. Of course the Sanctuary always did seem to carry an allure of a magical aura about it as well. Deciding to visit Andromeda I headed to her stall where she was chewing on her water bucket. Shaking my head I placed the raspberries on a haybale and opened her stall.
She looked so cute standing there whisking her little feathery tail back and forth.
As always I took to my normal routine of changing her feed and water. First going to the water bucket to change the stale contents. As I turned around I heard the bowl of my raspberries fall to the ground. I looked over at Andromeda who had been spooked by the sound as she hid in a dark corner of the stable. Looking at the bowl I noticed it had been picked clean, which meant that Andromeda had something to do with it. Picking up the bowl I coaxed her to me, low and behold the remaining hue of raspberries did lie upon her muzzle creating a vibrant red violet hue upon her. All I could do was shake my head. I then reached into my pockets and pulled out some leftover lembas bread, inwhich she sniffed at and ate joyfully as well.
"Well now I do believe we know what foods you like huh Andromeda?" I said sweetly to her as she nuzzled my face making us both a red purple hue....

Lightning - It is interesting to me that Lightning can kick so hard, I wonder where he learned this skill, and if it has anything to do with his being found in the wild? Seline - It fascinates me that Seline knew to put that weed into the water! That weed creating a ghost was an amazing thing to hear about! Zekke - I think the most fun thing for me to read was about Zekkes reaction the first time he saw a miniature garden, that was so cute! and sweet! and funny! Yuki - I wonder where she learned her love for blueberries! I think its so wonderful that Yuki found Hoshi, they seem to care for each other so much smile Turner - I'm so worried about Turner and Mutaki! i hope they are alright!!! sad Forest - I cant wait to see him improve at jumping, maybe even getting good enough to win events! Bay Water - I wonder why exactly she likes that bucket so much! Not too sure but it sure is amusing xd Nightfall - Seems to be settling in slowly, is definately full of beans, but its nice to see her getting along with (or at least, starting to trust) Kaze already. Snowdrop - Snowdrop... A name that suggests a graceful snowflake, yet here is a perfectly happy, peaceful foal instead... Lightning - I've heard about the adventure Lightning had with his owner and stablemate! He's very brave, tramping into an abandoned, haunted place like that! Seline - A foal that dances within the rain without a care in the world... Also the flower queen! Yukiko - An adventurer, exploring places never trodden before! Makes me wonder where she'll go next... A city in the clouds? Nah... Turner - A foal with a thing for cows, chocolate, and milk! Rhythm of the Rainforest - A great leaper, who can already fly without his wings. Bay Water - A foal too cute for her own good! <3 Tallagor - The newest addition! He seems to be getting along really well with Zekke - I hope they become the best of friends! <3 Nightfall - A foal who watches the stars... Will she become a star herself with that climbing skill of her's? Valerin - A foal who is afraid of the dark - I hope that plush Zekke and I gave her helps! Though, if rumors are correct, I belive the plush glows... Creepy. Taran - A good kickball opponent! Zekke may be fast, but he won't last long against Taran's endurance! XD Jimbo - From what I've heard, he's shifty and crafty... I wonder how secure Minkey55 will have to make his stall to prevent his opening of his own stall door? Andromeda - We have yet to meet her and her owner, but from what we hear... She's a great problem solver. Something tells me that nothing will stop her, come quest and special time. Edit! Finally... Zekke. I luffs my Changeling, as everyday presents a new and unexpecting thing -- from lettuce-kicking to random "blinking" in and out. xd heart Sundragyn I'm here, with my egg, and it is lame.  Now, I'm supposed to say something about why I like Seline? Um... Okay. I like Seline because she's eclectic. Although her element does seem to be water, she adores flowers and has a flower on her leg, which is sort of contradictory but beautiful and I love it. I chose to represent the watery-ness of her with rain, which makes flowers grow. And after all, she loves rainstorms. And there's a flower, which amazingly enough, Seline did not eat. As for the others: Snowdrop: I love the sheer awesome of an infinity symbol, I really do. That's all I have to say. Lightning: He's Trouble, with a capital T. Gonna be a ladykiller? Er, marekiller. Zekke: Seline loves him from a distance, if only because of another obsession with flowers. Yukiko: Blueberries! I wonder if she likes saskatoons... Turner: I've never heard of a horse that likes chocolate. Sweet. Pun unintended. Forest: It's great that Forest is so interested in jumping... also, GREEN. Green is nice. Bay Water: She's a clean little filly. I wish Seline was as neat. *glares fondly* Tallagor: Hard to know what to say about such a new little guy, but, hey, everyone loves kickball. Shiro Ookami ::Baywater and Shiro come wondering in. Baywater looks around and finds the rest of the eggs. She walks over and places her egg with the rest.::  ::Shiro pats her on the head and thne places a note with it.:: Snow drop: Maybe meditation can calm Baywater's temper she sometimes throws. I should talk to Snowdrops owner. Lightning: Oooooo, pretty horn, goes good with the yellow color. Seline: Is she haunted by that ghost, or is it just the garden? I wonder... Zekke: He was nice enough to give me and Baywater a easter gift, thank you! Yukiko:Very pretty blue color... I just hope Oreg isn't that fond of his blueberries if they come out in his garden this year. We might find some missing if we have a visitor. ^.^;; Turner: Got to love That flag! Skittish, but brave when she needs to be she enjoys sweet fruits and being fussed - she really should have been a cat rather then a horse! Kawaii_Hime_Ceres ::Rouge comes trotting down the dusty path; a basket in mouth. Stuffed into the basket is an envelope, careful not to sway it to much as it contains egg. He sets it on the doorstep. Wednesday April 21, 2004First off I want to give a special thanks to the lovely Ceres and Seras for the wonderful gifts bestowed to Andromeda. She loves them very much and thanks you to the best of her ability. One thing I wanted to write about, but fell behind as usual was Andromeda's first outing to the Market. In my opinion she behaved very well around the shops. Luckily, I had more lembas bread on me so she didn't occupy herself with the shops containing berries and sweets.One of our biggest outings was at Pimpernel's Magical Unicorn Shop. I decided to let her pick out some things for her stall, well atleast one addition anyway. She was so facinated by the colors as she swished her fluffy tail looking them over. Thinking I was only making an order for one, I walked over to the counter and realized she had picked three instead for her shelves. Surprisingly, none where purple as I've found that's a color she likes a lot. Just take a look at her when she's around my hair sometime. So, now we wait paitiently for her order to be processed. Then she'll be content with her new toys that she'll place with the ones she recieved as a gift as well...Onto other things...
I took Andromeda to the HQ on Monday we finally got to meet Ceres in person. Of cousrse my little attention getter decided to rustle the sofa and fling a pillow across the room as well. Which I'm still apoligizing silently inside for. Ceres on the otherhand just smiled and found a ball for Tara and Andromeda to play with. She also introduced me to a Velvety black book with ruin tower. Which meant that my little energy filly was going on her first quest, very soon. I'm thinking of asking my newest stablehand to accompany me on this journey since deep down inside I trust him, even though his past is but a shroud of mystery to me....

Today is the day we ride to the ruined tower and I'm a bit nervous about it. Strange things have been happening around the stables which seem to spook the horses at times even. A new filly recently joined us whom I named Mana. She seems to spook easily and of course the strange sound of something rumaging around in the stables when the night should appear calm and serene. Tara seems like she knows something is present which puzzles me as well. Andromeda on the otherhand seems to stand for hours on end watching the shadow past hers and Tara's stall.
I remember packing the bags in the stables not long ago, then visited Andromeda. As I stepped over to pay attention to my baby, I heard a strange noise as if the stable door opened. Tara's ears twitched and she threw her head up in a snort. Mana paced her stall and whickered nervously kicking the door now and then. Looking around as I heard a noise, made me realize that my bag had been dumped and scattered all about the ground. In a startled voice I squeaked a sound through my firm pursed lips.
"Who's there. Is anyone there?"
I thought it could quite possibly be the kats or pup whom I called Kira playing. And once again I spoke in my unsettled tone,
"Hermione, Kali, Kira are you guys in here?"
Then too my surprise the door mysteriously opened again and closed.
Now, I'm not one for ghost stories or tales, but at that moment I would of believed any far fetched tale of myth and lore. Perhaps I shall stop into Head Quarters and see what knowledge there was of a phantasm that was quite possibly roaming the grounds and other stables as well...

April 29, 2004As of late we are still so very far from our destination at this point. I've been noticing that Andromeda has been watching over me. Take for instance when the storm hit us at our camp....
As I called out to my companion in this journey, a neighboring tree branch tore loose and struck me up along side my forehead. Thus knocking me unconcious. I was told later that Andromeda in her determined attitude pulled me into the tent out of the rain, then sought out my companion from the tree he was stationed in. But, to tell you the truth, I've felt as if something is being triggered in my mind as of late. Something from the past perhaps that I had buried long ago on that fateful night. Lately, it seems my "changeling" has become my guardian in this quest, and always looks out for me as well. She is my lucky little girl and would have it no other way.
In the meantime I wrote a short letter and sent it back to the sanctuary so everyone knows that I'm well...that is minus the little gash in my forehead.Rein_Carnation Hey guys just checking in to see if things are going smoothly? This I hope to be true. Andromeda is doing well as is Tara and Kirara. We are on our way to the tower now just bypassing a storm. I'm still weakened from the branch that hit me and luckily Andromeda pulled me out of the rain as well. Hopefully we will find the tapestry and be back home soon. I miss everyone.

May 30, 1994
As I sit here I think about so much that has happened. And frankly it still puzzles me. Oh I'm sorry I never updated, well I suppose I should do that now. *nods*
After the storm incident I apparently slept for the course of a week. Really though I have no idea where time fleeted off to. When I awoke there was my little "guard dog" watching over me. It really makes me giggle thinking over her that way.
After I got my bearings around, I set out with Andromeda upon Tara's back to find breakfast. This in reality not realizing Yami had returned with supplies and drink anyway. We rode off and wouldn't you know it my little "changeling" found a ripe mulberry bush with the most sweet berries seen on this side of the continent.
Now, as we continued to forage something in my wildest nightmares rose its menacing head. And that dare I say was a Chimera. A mean one at that might I add. In our bliss of finding breakfast I failed to open my senses to a direct predator lurking but a few feet away in the still shadows.
So, here we were faced with a mean enemy with one intention; annihilation. Andromeda my silly girl took the lead in front of me. Warding off this creature larger than the mulberry tree. That was throughly amazing to watch, but at the same time horrifying as well.
I stood there frightened out of my wits and Andromeda was acting like a little knight. As the chimera zoned in on Tara my brave girl chucked a rock at it, once again getting its attention on us. My brave Andromeda and my dagger strapped to my waist that was my late father's carrying the family name upon it.
I took a step forward to the creature determined to finish that quest we started. So determined that I was putting my life on the line as well not caring for the consquences attached. My brave filly stood in front of me warding the creature off again with deep snorts and whinnies. Now I was lost to the feeling of escaping and attacking. What would I do?
Yami then arrived and the beast turned on him. While I was thankful for the arrival I was still perplexed on another party member becoming trapped in this mess as well. So, here we were facing down a nasty chimera with yet another chance to get killed. The stakes were rising as well.
I mounted Minyar my bold unicorn and lead Andromeda away. Tara bolted and leapt over the creature heading off out of view. I calmed Andromeda and warned her to stay there. Yami was in need of help and she was not about to stand by watching things happen.
Now in my current state I called upon the magick resting within, my spirit weapon my mentor Sir Geren had taught me to do well. Calling out the dark water that resided within my soul I formed my Naginata. And when I stood there I became lost and unwound. The feeling of oppression came over me like a washed out tide. I felt so weak and stood there simply falling down a spiral watching as the chimera was taunted by Yami.
After it seemed I plunged to the bottom, I noticed that crazy foal was back again picking with the chimera. You'd think it would of spooked her like Tara, but in reality it just made her angry. She galloped directly into it, as it staggered from the blow. Directly head first she made contact and all I could do was just stand there. For some reason, I snapped to then and whirled around cathing the naginata in the chimera's lower backside.
It then turned on Yami as he took the initiative to tell us to get out of there. He also sent his own kats along with us as well.
In an instant I whistled for Minyar and roped Andromeda as we headed out of there wishing him safe passage away from the beast.
As we reached the tower things seemed almost against us, seeing that the tower was weathered shut completely. Andromeda took the initiative of finding a switch which lead us into the passageway. Or atleast we thought it was. A dark mildewed infested walkway. Yes. How pleasent that truly was.
Andromeda seemed to have everything in control as she lead the way. Even in split passageways she seemed to always know the correct route.
Not soon after we were what seemed a day away from the opening we entered I heard a distinct noise. A tiny tinkling sound was following us in which I paused my anxious filly and waited. Sure enough I was correct in in my assumption. Kali had followed us as I was alerted to her mate ring as it jingled back and forth.
Its impossible to be mad at one so adorable as she explained why she followed us into the unknown. Many times before she had gotten into trouble which scared me half to death. But, here she was just as curious as ever curling up as I placed the multicolored kitten in my kimono flap.
Warning her to keep quiet till we finished the quest.
Andromeda found the way upward into the Tower. What joy what rapture blaugh . The place we entered into was filled with ancient books, weapons, and things not even uncovred that we know of. Andromeda seemed to know her goal and nosed around looking for her treasure.
I found a suitible dagger for my kat back home along with a purple velvet book concerning stars I believe.
Both accompianied me as I watched Andromeda open a passageway and trot up a hidden staircase.
As I trudged along I entered yet another room in which I found my curious foal holding a beautiful Tapestry that she clenched in her teeth proudly. Finely after all that heck did my pretty girl find what we were sent to find; The Starry Tapestry.
Andromeda once again found another passage that when followed lead us directly to where we had started?! Not that I was complaining or anything but still. Yami had found us then looking extremely beat up and exhausted.
He passed out on the ground even. So I placed him atop Minyar, mounted Tara, and roped Andromeda as she held her tapestry. Then we headed off for the headquarters for some rest. I immediately crashed there as Andromeda watched over me.

Wednesday June 23, 2004Where to start... Lets start off with some momentos from our interesting task we were set out to accomplish.  ((First off is the book which I found in the Tower once we finally were inside))  ((Then the dagger that I brought back for Rein's mate Lenwe))  ((Ack the scary Chimera that had almost had us for dinner, if it were'nt for a brave "changling" who doesn't let anyone hurt her momma and friends eek ))  ((Finally Andromeda with her prize. She was so excited to have found it. She's quite remarkable...I love her so much!!!))
