It just... travels. sweatdrop In the ejaculate itself, and then inside the woman's v****a, uterus, and fallopian tube.
Try talking to a doctor or looking it up online for more details. It's hard to explain, since I think it's something most of us learned at some point in midde/high school.

Well, sperm is a sort of liquid substance. Now, let's imagine we have a water pistol. If you squeeze the trigger, the force of it shoots the water out, and if you're aiming at something, it has a high chance of hitting it. And it dosn't make much mess until it either hits it's target or gravity finally takes a grip.
So, sperm working in pretty much the same way, it's being forced out, therefore it doesn't make much mess (well, unless it's not stuck in the v****a, in which case, you have a spermified girlfriend or yourself, or the bed covers).
Oh, and I never learnt any decent sex education at school, it's all self taught through websites and doctors leaflets I picked up from here there and everywhere. School sucks at teaching the right things properly. I think they should start teaching in the last year of Primary and go right through secondary (or in the case you have grades instead of years like I do as a Brit, from at least the age of 10 or 11 right through to last year of school by which time it should be stuck in your head).
