The sixteen year old teen walks through the shadows of the corridor as he approaches the arena, the cheering of the crowd growing louder and louder. The adrenaline was running through his veins as his heart began to beat faster and faster. Coming to a stop just a few feet before the bright light that was the arena, he inhales, then exhales sharply, walking out onto the sandy ground as the entirety of the bustle hits into his ears, revealing the crowd that sat before him, awaiting to see a great match. It was up to him and his opponent to not disappoint them.
His appearance revealed a spiked brown haired boy with a black open short-sleeved coat over a blue and red underneath shirt. He wore a mix of red and black for pants with two pouches strapped to them on each side of his waist. His shoes were quite big for his feet, but they worked well for him. And on each hand were fingerless black gloves, which he makes sure is fit tight to the form of them.
He walks toward the center, hoping to meet his opponent at the same exact place. He didn't know what was in store for him, but he knew this fight would take him to his limits.

Sending out deamonic waves of strife, tribulation, and true pain, a vortex reveals itself creating a rip in time and space as if another dimension has been open. Darker than the darkest of nights, a veil of smoke seeps through the vortex raging throughout the land, covering everything in its path as a manical laughter courses from the other side of the vortex.
HMHMHM HA HA HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA
It is holding in an evil only seen in nightmares never to be shown in reality, in the deepest and darkests of night and in the secrets of man, until now... Clouds formulate darkening the sky, covering the sun as to eclipse over it. The land truthfully has become a dark realm, only to the eyes of the beholder would such things happen in a nightmare, but this is the reality, what's going on? The laughter grew louder, more fierce, more sadistic than before, seemingly enough, the laughter was coming from the vortex, but who was the mad man behind the shadows of the dark realm?
Approaching in a breif manner.
It is showing that this man, is none other than Genshin Fusaki. His midnight black hair with a navy blue hue trailing on the outter area of his hair. His face, stern, but yet appearing relaxed at the same time, forms a smirk on his face. What's his deal with this tournament? Simple, to find more prey.
The manical laughters yet still rage on, as his orbs took a scan of the area, looking through the vortex, his left and right hands place on both edges of it taking a step into the arena. Slamming both hands up against the vortex, with a shatter image of his homeland, in which he rules, the vortex collapses to be non-existence once more. It was like nothing was there, Genshin stood there calm, relaxed, but yet in his mind within himself, the good and the evil within him are battling.
Athough seemingly enough it would be that his evil side has won, but in fact this side of him is the good side. His right hand curls up slowly, his muscles creeking, his eyes twitching, then as the digits of his hand close all together to form a fist, instantly a distance wave of energy flew from his body yet stops within five feet from himself then drops downward to the ground showing a five foot radial circle. The smirk upon his face becomes a grin, this must mean that the side of evil has taken over, or that the good side has won. Who would know, this man rarely shows a smile, nor a satisfied sigh of relief. His muscles all seem to relax, as his shirt ruffles from the wind blowing through the area, with a wide announcing grin. Genshin with his two swords upon his back, PAIN Person Annointed In Nothingness, and Fury. Two blades in which were equal in power, but different in each of their own intents. PAIN is the twin masumune of Eternity, PAIN has joined souls with Genshin feeding off of him every second of his entire life. Genshin accepted this fate while young and realize he and the blade are meant to be one. Fury on the other hand, is still unknown to even the people of the Dark Realm, Escasia, where Genshin is from. Some say he forged the blade from a broken piece of PAIN, only creating another ruthless entity from it forming the newer blade.
Genshin keeps moving forward walking on having his blue loose fitted jeans with his black boots slick and clanking along the arena floor. Crossing his arms as he meets up with his opponent, the lingering glare directly at his opponent's face shows that he means business.
His orbs flash a sort of crimson to reveal that in fact his daemonic origin has vampiristic properties, but which? The need for blood, or the rage for it? His oponent will find out soon. His fangs seeped through his mouth as he opens it for a slight yawn, the orbs being concealed now as he keeps them that way.
"You better entertain me, boy." The darkness ensue throughout his entire persona, and yet Genshin just appears to be somewhat of a normal contentment for this tournament.

The darkness that overcame the place so suddenly indeed had placed him into a worriment, stopping as he looked around with worry on his face. Rather, curiousity to what was going on. When he saw a man walk out from a malicious looking vortex, he simply sighed in relief, glad that it wasn't some monstrosity with three heads, large wings, or whatever demon image came to his mind. It was only a normal guy. Well, almost until he sensed a large wave of darkness go through his body, obviously caused by the conflicting evil within his opponent. When the two finally meet at the center, Kawaii simply stares on, seeing the fangs and feeling the continuing evil intent that swarmed the man's mind.
"You better entertain me, boy."
In that moment, the keyblade appears in Kawaii's right gloved hand, the two and half foot long blade decorated nicely in its ornate fashion of which was the Ultima Weapon, daining the symbol of a heart near the tip. Kawaii bends his knees as his left hand also meets the handle of his wielded weapon, taking stance with a bit of ten feet between him and his menacing opponent.
That is when he says:" Same to you, too."

Genshin's hands goes behind him right above his shoulders grabbing upon the two hilts. The right hand swiftly wraps the digits of his hand directly upon the hilt of PAIN while the left grabs upon the hilt of Fury. In unison, with the revealing of Kawaii's blade, he has for his hands to pull both blades from their cross sheaths having them to land directly at his sides. They're at an angle so that the tip of each blade goes diagonally downward towards the ground, his arms bent slightly to keep them from touching the ground itself.
When the blade finishes in revealing itself, Genshin's stance is purely ready. Shoulder width a part, the left blade, Fury, going upwards slightly while having the left arm slightly extended towards Kawaii yet the blade is leaning over some in an angle. The right blade, PAIN, has went toward the back slightly of Genshin pointing in the same direction as Fury and yet appearing to be the attacking blade. Both legs being shoulder width a part, he realizes that it'll be much more fun to go with the one sword style instead for some reason. Blade for blade, just to see how well the young boy is.
So, his left hand manuvers twirling the blade then slamming it into the ground as it stands some dust of the sands begin swirling upward. Genshin's eyes are now covered by the shades that visify upon his eyes. He was ready to have some fun with the rage that's building inside of him.
Unknown to Kawaii
The arena's darkness continue to swirl around the area, and the crowd is feeling a great intensity to fight as they suddenly start cheering, "FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT."
Genshin speaks,
"Let's not disappoint now, shall we?" Is this to be the last words that Genshin will speak in this battle?

Kawaii smiles as he nods. In a way, he was also feeling the building urge to fight, this being fueled by the crowd's roar and the readiness of his opponent. He sees the man relinquish one of his blades, PAIN it was, into the sand, while keeping the other one in hand. Was he being fair and allowing Kawaii a "chance" against him, or was that sword for another purpose? Obviously, the swirling sand would be noted in his mind.
But now, Kawaii was ready, his opponent was ready, and heck the entire crowd was ready. But that sense of darkness was still nagging at him, and he knew the feel of the impending doom-like emotion and energy from his past experiences. He stood there motionless for a moment, as if starting a staredown with Genshin. That is, until suddenly Kawaii lunges forward, left foot first, swinging his blade from right to left after raising it a bit from its place to his right side. The horizontal yet slightly angled slash was aimed at the frontal part of Genshin's body, mainly between the chest and the abdominal area, going for a half foot deep cut from his range.

It's great to know that the opponent can pay attention to which blade has been placed down, but he has to realize that the frontal blade, Fury, was still in place in front of Genshin.
Dashing the opponent goes toward Genshin. He stares down the opponent, with a simple sight, the blade tilts towards the arcing blade motion that's being used against him. The left hand still holds upon the blade as the opponent reaches toward the destination to sending the horizontal slash.
Mistake.
A horizontal slash takes time to complete a full swing, whilst the length of fury being 4 feet stabs forward directly towards Kawaii's chest in unison with the swing. The right hand, instantaneously, manuvers to block the oncoming strike in a simplistic fashion that is known as a catch with the palm. Genshin's counteractions will occur in a simple fashion awaiting for the opponent's movement. The momentum though, causes for Kawaii's manuver to push Genshin back, the ground crumbling in the process but the stab has gone forward towards Kawaii's right lung.

The sudden surprise of Genshin's seemingly long blade attacking indeed was a last second realization from Kawaii. As his swing is following its path, the sword is going forward. However, the fact that he raised his sword gave Kawaii just enough time to see this action occuring, as simply tilting his blade toward him would already alert the teen to not run into it. When the stab comes, the keyblade changes course as from its intended path to a more unorthodox one. Simply, Kawaii quickly has his hands move up and toward his left shoulder, bringing the keyblade into a tilt toward the ground at a 45 degree angle while Kawaii bounces off his left foot, starting a mid air turn, deflecting himself from the attack, using the stabbing sword of Genshin to ride himself into the air as the keyblade moves against it, which will change the course of Fury's stab to the right, particularly at nothing.
He will now be upside in this aerial cartwheel. His motion would be quicker, however, than a normal person's flight through air, as his descent brings his feet toward the ground as he follows his new manuever. Yet right when his left side will be facing toward the ground during this, a sudden flash from under Kawaii's feet will occur. In this instant, Kawaii will turn his body to the right in a very abnormal motion to face Genshin, followed by swinging his keyblade at an angle that defined it between a horizonatal slash and a vertical slash, from right to left, going for a cut through Genshin's left shoulder, as he will execute a slight aerial charge at him, as if he was flying now. This time, only his right hand held the keyblade, having his left arm move in balance to add more fluidity and speed to the attack.

Genshin's previous action The right hand, instantaneously, manuvers to block the oncoming strike in a simplistic fashion that is known as a catch with the palm. Kawaii Kool When the stab comes, the keyblade changes course as from its intended path to a more unorthodox one. Simply, Kawaii quickly has his hands move up and toward his left shoulder, bringing the keyblade into a tilt toward the ground at a 45 degree angle while Kawaii bounces off his left foot, starting a mid air turn, deflecting himself from the attack, using the stabbing sword of Genshin to ride himself into the air as the keyblade moves against it... Problem is, the Keyblade was stopped upon contact with Genshin's hand, which followed the attack from the start. The fluxuating prowess within the right hand catches the blade directly in a grab motion since he attempted to catch the sword previously. Thus, the sword is now within the palm of his hand. The grasp is fluid in motion, controlling the movement of the blade itself. Having the blade at a stopping point, Genshin pulls for the blade to cause for his opponent to come forward towards him and the blade of Fury directly at Kawaii's right lung, but with a sudden change of trajectory, the blade stabs toward the gut instead to impale Kawaii.
Genshin completely disables the motion that Kawaii was going for.

Kawaii was truly in trouble. This man had not only stopped his attack, but was about to give him the worse wound of his life. That is until Kawaii performs a quick leap as he follows the pull by his opponent. Like he was on a spring, he bounces into the air, spreading his legs wide to have the stab just barely miss, as he leans his body forward to have him look down at Genshin from his angle. He was bobbled how the man could take grasp of his weapon without being cut by the sharpness of the keyblade, but maybe he had tough skin. Either way, as the stab misses, Kawaii utters one single word:
"Fire!"
In that very instant, fire erupts around the blade, a severe surge that can cause major burns on Genshin's right hand and arm. But this was only the wake of it. Only a split second later would he feel the full effects of his magic. A great explosion will occur, which will cause a recoil to slide the blade out of Genshin's hands, if he had not already removed it during the initial fire eruption. While Kawaii will be flown back for probably fifteen feet, Genshin would be met with a point-blank fire projectile that will not only knock him back for some distance, but also inflict him with a force that can easily send a person into a KO and flames that can seer through many metals in only a few seconds. It probably wasn't a good thought to imagine what it could do to a living being, but Genshin was about to be the first test subject of this.

Genshin's right hand is still with the blade, grasping in a hard fashion. He grins firmly while turning the blade upward, having the hilt of the blade to lead Kawaii's hands away from his body as the left hand, which holds Fury, continues to stab towards the abdomen area. But suddenly, a word was spoken:
"Fire!"
Because of the said word, Genshin's prowess begin reacting once more, especially the blade PAIN vibrates to the ground. The attack hits upon Genshin causing for the smoke to elevate from the ground the flames consuming Genshin's body completely. But the problem is, has he been affected by such an attack? The smoke swirls surrounding him, but the flames that sprout from the attack engulfs him entirely.
Then suddenly, a laughter occurs, "Is this the best you can do?" With those words, Genshin twirls the blade to rip the blade out of Kawaii's hands then in unison slamming Fury to go directly into Kawaii's gut. The flames suddenly turn black showing that they've been converted by Genshin's prowess. Kawaii has to find another technique fast before Genshin reveals what he has been doing with PAIN the entire time.

He sees as his attack hits, yet the problem was, the man still kept hold of Kawaii's keyblade, as smoke erupted upwards after the fire swirled around Genshin's body. Of course, his feet would touch the ground two feet to this opponent's right due to his descent being shortened by that pull on his blade. And then came the words:"Is that the best you can do?"
His keyblade is suddenly pulled on while at the same time another stab was coming at him. He had no choice but to relinquish his method of attacking for a moment's time to save himself from a painful attack. With a roll to his left, the stab would be avoided just in time, while he places himself behind Genshin at the same time. And right near that vibrating sword, too. He knew something was up with it when it caused that small sand pickup. It was no normal item, and Kawaii knew not to trust anything that his opponent had. When he had rolled, the keyblade will flash, suddenly disappearing from Genshin's grip, moving as an invisible magical entity back to Kawaii's hands.
When his roll is finished, the keyblade appears back in his right hand, while kneeled a bit with his right knee nearly touching the ground, and left hand planted on it. He was right behind Genshin with no time to waste. Using this to his advantage, he dives forward yet to the left a split second after his roll. This movement will have him pass diagonally from Genshin's back and past his left, while at the same time, sending a swing from his keyblade toward the back of his right leg's knee and left leg's knee, the right being the first target in the path. If struck, this can very much severe his thighs from his shins. But if he truly was as strong as Kawaii thought, then the blade's power would merely trip him on his back, while doing some good damage while at it.

Genshin notices the movement of his opponent then grins as he goes into the 'duck and roll' manuver. His opponent is very naive to think that just because Genshin's attack is toward one area, that it will not be capable of following the opponent. Though, he's having fun toying with the boy, and the intent of madness grew.
As Kawaii stops his attack, Genshin's hold of the blade increases prior to the disappearance of the blade, but can it disappear? That's the major question right now, his opponent assumes that since the keyblade is his own and he can control it in more ways than one, Genshin's right hand has been controlling the blade itself from not even cutting him.
Why's that?
It's very simple, once Genshin has touched the blade. His prowess activated upon the touch nullifying the abilities of the blade but the usage of the magic that occured with the blade wasn't nullified due to the fact that Genshin's not touching his opponent himself. The keyblade is merely used as a channel for the magic attack to occur. Thus, it means that his prowess disables magic abilities to the blade, but as the blade is being the channel to send mana from one object, Kawaii himself, to another, the blade, just shows the fact that there's still a way to fight against Genshin after all. The problem is, Genshin... has no known weaknesses to the opponent. He's preferrably manipulating the match to his liking having his opponent to try and figure a way to attack him.
This, is where PAIN comes in. The sword, PAIN, continues to vibrate upon the ground as the shadows increase in numbers feeding off of the emotions that were being negative from the start: Genshin's murderous intent. As the blade continues to feed, the more fearsome Genshin becomes. Though, this could have a negative effect if Genshin continues on his murderous intent, but the good side has it nullified drasticly due to Genshin's positive emotions. So, in point, it shows that Genshin can be literally unstoppable for a certain amount of time... or was it even timed at all?
In pity towards his opponent, Genshin lets go of the blade only to see the blade visify back into his opponent's hand. Then, in holding Fury, he turns the blade downward towards the direction of the roll that's just occuring in front of him. Does his opponent think that Genshin will just stand there and let Kawaii get behind him? This is truly silly, but Genshin merely laughs in a maniacal fashion feeling the energies swirl in his right hand. He turns feeling as the energies swirl within the palm of his hand turning around having for his opponent to be directly in front of him still. Kawaii's fast, but not fast enough but as Genshin is turning he speaks.
"Mmm... it seems this Ultima blade has some acquiring abilities."
Kawaii's roll suddenly finishes, and Genshin's grin continues to play against him. Kawaii is about to find out why Genshin is a most feared warrior, and why he normally doesn't venture this realm anymore.
Since the roll has finished, Genshin has for his right hand to continue to open and clench very frequently getting used to the conversion technique that has occured from the keyblade. Did he just steal some of the keyblade's properties? Or has he copied it for the time being?
Kawaii's in an attack, suddenly, and Genshin is merely playing the role of the bad guy when right as the swing of the blade comes forward towards his own legs, Genshin merely smirks, "Heh." The ground erupts as a daemonic blood wall shoots up in front of him, but stopping right in front of his legs just under his waist and the width of his body. "Come on... you can do better."
"Here, I'll make it easy for you." Knowing that the blood wall doesn't last much long after impact, it just acts as a diversion from the real attack. Right when the blood wall crumbles.
In the background
PAIN, continues to have the sand swirl surrounding the blade. The sand elevates with great texture formulating a glass prison.
In the instance of the blood wall crumbling.
Genshin's right leg, which has been the manuvering leg swings upward going directly towards Kawaii's face. It has been covered by the same exact black flames that formed from the previous attack. If this will hit, the attack causes for Kawaii to go directly towards PAIN, which in turn causes for the glass to shatter and become piercings into Kawaii's body. Not killing him, but immobolizing him to continue in the match.

The keyblade was not just a channel to send magic from one person to another, but also part of Kawaii's soul. In truth, it represented his will, Kawaii pledging trust in it, while it does the same. Any attempt of nulling its abilities would reslt in failure, as usually, the blade would just disappear, not wanting to be tampered with any longer by a foreign body that it does not see as its master.
It was a weapon with its own will. To copy or read it in anyway, Genshin would have to do a lot of diagnosis on it. He would also have to disrupt the thing that stood between him and the keyblade's true soul: that being Kawaii himself, which meant killing him. And so, no matter what his intents were, they would not help in trying to disable Kawaii's weapon, having it easily return to the boy's hands, as wanted.
"Mmm... it seems this Ultima blade has some acquiring abilities."
Kawaii sees now that he has yet to get his opponent off guard. Because of this realization, he does not attempt his dive attack, as he had failed in trying to surprise him. And so, it would not be known if Genshin would have wanted the blood wall to come up in the first place or as a way to block an attack that never happens. If the kick would happen, Kawaii would roll to the left and a bit forward once more to dodge it, only to stop kneeled down and see PAIN shaking with glass around it not too far from him.
"What," he says upon seeing it before returning his attention to Genshin. This man was truly a case for Kawaii, but he would not allow him to discourage Kawaii to back down. It was only the beginning of the match, and he had yet to show his stuff. Kawaii would stand back to his feet, keyblade in both hands and to his right, looking toward Genshin who was only seven feet away. A smile comes onto the teen's face. He was ready once again for another clash.
With that, Kawaii dashes at Genshin once more, keyblade raised a bit with the tip pointing forward.

Genshin is a man of many mysteries, and it appears to him that the Ultima blade is truly and purely similar to that of the sword PAIN. The grin pierces through his face as it shows a malicious attitude that holds upon himself. It must've ment that he's going to do something very radical next, but maybe not.
In finding out the blade in disappearing, and reappearing in its respective owner's possession, it shows to him that it has been a choice by the blade and the owner. The problem with the diagnosis, there were no problems, but apparently in the situation of how the blade disappeared and reappeared gave Genshin enough information for the battle to continue. The weapon isn't disabled, but it has been analyzed in the grasping position when Genshin held the blade.
Since, in the decision has been made by Kawaii not to take the dive, the techniques after the "Mmm... it seems this Ultima blade has some acquiring abilities." doesn't occur. Genshin and Kawaii are standing looking towards each other in a stare down, then right when Kawaii notices the sword, PAIN, Genshin rushes directly towards him sending a straight right hook from the right going directly towards the left to hit Kawaii upon the cheek on the mandible.
In other words, this action occurs right when Kawaii makes the choice to run forward as well. Genshin's grin stays upon his face becoming even more menacing than before.
