Victor "Knuckles" Kalliandrio vs. Raichu

FIGHT!
PostPosted: Sun Jul 16, 2006 2:05 am

It was the next morning, and he finally made it to the Gaia Budokai Tournament. It was an exceedingly long walk; taking two days to travel to the tournament. He was smart enough to stop by inns along the way; taking his time to rest and reassure his directional path to the tournament.

He glanced around the landscape; the battle arena standing out as a sight to behold. Its enormous structure was made to practically give a worldwide performance. And for this performance, Victor would have to take the lead role. It was always the good-looking bishonen that won these kinda tournaments. Who else was going to be better looking than him?

But many other thoughts ran through his mind.
"How many fighters would show up? How would he stand up? Would the prize money suffice for the effort he put into this tournament?"
It was stressful enough to give him a headache. But he proceeded to walk into the entrance hall of the arena.

Adding to the headache, it would've been easy for Victor to get lost in the large arena... But he saw the large pointing arrow that directed the fighters towards the arena gates. It painted to the brick wall, obviously intended for temporary purposes. It was an obvious sign for the fighters that were dumb enough to get lost inside the Gaia Budokai Tournament. He proceeded to walk towards the gate; as the gate slowly opened for him. The stadium started to shake with the cheers from the crowd. It was an overwhelming feeling; but it wasn't anything unexpected. They were expecting a classic fight, and Victor wasn't going to let them down.

He slowly walked down to the arena; slowly coming into view of the crowd. He had chains wrapped around his hands and wrists; making a loud clanging sound with every step he took. There was also a long "X" shaped metallic weapon that was slung inside his sheathe on his back. Clothing wise, he wore completely black attire. His clothing would consist of a long black hooded sweater; leaving the hood up to conceal his face. He also wore a bizarre looking pair of metallic jeans. They appeared more like a sturdy leg armor that could brace him from leg blows. Only his black boots looked like casual wear. Taking a stance in the middle of the arena battle ground; he could be mistaken for a more reserved fighter at first glance.

After standing in front of the crowd for a few moments; he slipped off his hooded sweater; revealing his true appearance. He was a young looking man, visibly looking around his early twenties. He had a nice tan and slim, muscular build; no excess fat or physical weaknesses. His long scarlet hair would flow with the cool breeze; reaching past his shoulders and down to his waist. His eyes were dark brown, fairly intense looking eyes that showed the experience from a few street fights. Along with a masculine jaw line and high cheek bones; he looked as if he could've been a decent male model.

Allowing for his sweater to fall to the floor; this exposed a third weapon that he had on him. At his waist was a holster that carried a revolver; but there was a noticeable magic essence to the gun. The hooded sweater also covered up his black headband; made to keep Victor's hair out from his face. Surprisingly, the sheathe for the "X" looking weapon stayed on when he slipped off the sweater. He stood still in the middle of the arena. He only expressed a smirk, continuing to wonder what his opponent would be like. Images of large muscular brutes and demonic titans clouded his mind; keeping him ready for the worst.

A robed figure with a staff came into arena. His upper chest bouncing a bit with each step. He sure as heck wasn't a pokemon. But, one thing he would have to remember. And that is kill the DJ of entrances for stupidly putting that entrance song in there cause he didn't want an entrance theme song.
PostPosted: Wed Jul 19, 2006 1:58 pm

Victor stared at the robed figure. It wasn't the ideal fighter he wanted; but it wasn't something ridiculous either. He lightly pondered why his opponent hid inside a robe for a spectating audience. Victor was in great physical condition and loved to show off his body to the crowd. Was his opponent disfigured or somethin'?
"Hmph... Too bad. Your robe isn't gunna protect you from my fists."

Before he could act on his instinct to battle; he noticed an odd noise in the background.
"... Where the hell is that music coming from?"

He blinked for a few moments. It was definitely an odd sounding theme. He didn't even recognize the instruments used for the beat. He quickly shot an angry glare at the robed figure. The music hadn't started until this mysterious figure walked into the arena. It must've been this stranger's fault.

Victor lifted his left hand and pointed his index finger towards the robed figure. He angrily shouted towards him.
"Agh, damnit... What the hell is up with the music!? We ain't here to dance. Introduce yourself and fight me like a man."

Victor was slowly getting a headache. Not from the music, but the stress of the situation. For all he knew, the music could be some sort of spell attack. He would be cautious for any little tricks this mysterious figure might pull. Therefore, he immediately set his body into the Focus Point. Focus Point allowed for all of his senses (physical and mental) to be amplified; giving him an unbelievable reaction time. It was almost the equal to clairvoyance; warning him of any nearby dangers that could come into his path. It would tell him if the music was anything to be concerned with; or if this figure was going to try to strike first.

During his change to Focus Point; there wasn't any visable signs of physical change.

The robed figure simply and simply said, "Name's Raichu." The man would be seen turning around a bit trying to signal to the DJ to cut off the music. However, the DJ flipped him off and went back to concentrate on the BJ he was getting from under his booth. So the song would wind up playing to its normal end. Which wouldn't be for a few minutes.

The robed figure simply shrugged, breathed in greatly, and hand gestured for him opponent to come at him.

Victor brought his hand down, leaving both of his arms to his side. The chain was still on his hands, making a clanging noise when he did this. He still overheard the music behind Raichu, as he closely watched Raichu's movements. Concerned with the music, he used Focus Point to interpret any sound waves that could've done serious harm to him. It would tell him if there was any sort of magical effects to this music. Obviously he was putting his own body at risk; and even potentially putting himself into a serious bind. But he had to know the intention for the music.

Focus Point was now in progress. It was real easy to tell that it wasn't any form of magical auras surrounding the music.
"... Wait. This isn't an attack?"

It was a great surprise to him. Besides the odd and catchy rhythm; there was nothing dangerous about the music. Victor stared at Raichu when he turned around and tried to signal a nearby individual to cut off the music. Victor wasn't foolish enough to believe this to be a spell anymore. Why else would Raichu turn his back to him?

He was back to square one. It was an original assumption that he might've been a spell caster. And couldn't examine if this man was secretly built or not. This man had kept himself completely concealed under the robe. It was a pain in the a**; but at least he knew his name. And Raichu was intending for him to make the first strike.
"I'll remember your name in your defeat."

Victor flicked his long, scarlet hair out of his face. It was very fine looking hair; as it gracefully landed back in place. Only a slight grin was aimed towards his opponent. He currently was standing in a straight forward and masculine posture. He brought his arms up and folded them across his strong chest; continuing to speak.
"My name is Victor Kalliandrio, mercenary from the outskirts of Tinerage and noble of Xyolvia. You better have skills, or else you'll be gettin' an a** kickin' of a lifetime."

His eyes appeared to still be relaxed; even with Focus Point in his mind. He seemed to flaunt off his looks to his opponent instead of his fists. But it was all to show prowess to the audience. Why else would he state his lineage title to the world? But the introduction was over. Victor's eyes were slowly becoming more stern.

It was now time to battle. He let his long chain (Wrathica) fall from it's wrapping. Only leaving a small segment of the chain lying around his wrists, it allowed for a small charge of electricity to go through his chains. It was an obvious warning before the strike.

During the man's speech, Raichu put the his robe's hood over his head and looked like he was driven to sleep by the man's flaunting his title. When it came to the part of the a** kicking of a lifetime, Raichu shook his a** back and forth to his opponent. Not seeming to care for the spark of electricity in the chain.
PostPosted: Tue Jul 25, 2006 10:20 am

Victor lightly smirked at Raichu's antics.
"Glad to see that you're ready to get your a** kicked."

He proceeded to finish charging up the electricity through Wrathica. Building up since his initial warning charge; the actual length of the chain was slowly increasing in size. The chain slowly got around twelve feet in length and three feet thick. Its weight was easily over a hundred pounds; but its true strength wasn't in its durability or heavy weight.

A piece of the chain broke off and landed on the ground, next to Victor. To the audience, it looked like the chain was pretty flimsy to break. Victor made a scowl, as he morphed the two feet of thick chains into a 30 lbs. brick-shaped object. The chains morphing capabilities were under Victor's mental will. He simply kicked the metallic brick towards Raichu at incredible speeds.

Victor had decent acting abilities; loving to deceive his opponents with random tricks he had up his sleeve. It looked like Victor had just screwed up his attack; and just improvised with a heavy projectile. Nothing impressive for the viewer.

The lightning charges were flowing through the metallic brick; as it extended itself towards Raichu. The flying brick looked really heavy, and some fighters would've assumed that the lightning was the trap behind throwing the brick at Raichu. Its aimed direction was the torso; allowing Victor to see how Raichu would react to it. Obviously not an impressive trick, if this had been the real trick.

The real trick was Victor's full control of Wrathica at any distance, he could turn the brick into another weapon. It was only his mental concentration that would determine on the weapon that was turned into. The lightning charge was only an added bonus to whatever weapon that Victor chose to unleash. Because Raichu was giving Victor all the time in the world to charge up moves; he wasn't breaking a sweat over it. And since he knew how much strength he kicked the brick with, he would have Focus Point tell him when to unleash a new weapon upon Raichu.

During all of this, the chain in his hands was still growing. It wasn't very noticeable, since its growth was going by centimeters. But it was intentional to give everyone the belief of a weak weapon.

At the last second before the man kicked the brick, seemingly outta nowhere Raichu let out as big a shout as he can toward his opponent. Built up from breathing in greatly. The shout was originally one/two attack until the opponent made it be around 3 attacks in one.

There was first the attempt at a WTF reaction since the opponent was concentrated on his attack so much, something loud and noticeable could throw him into a 'WTF' kind of reaction.

The second part of the attack was contributed by his opponent, via use of Focus Point, the opponent's hearing would be a lot better than usual. Making this seemingly normal shout bumped up to possibly earshattering to him.

The third part came from Raichu's breath, part of its power from Raichu and the other part coming from Focus Point of his opponent. After eating onions, garlic, and other choice foods recently, a human with normal senses would actually be throwing up greatly from the smell of his fart. Since practically every gaian has extraordinary senses above that of a human's, the effect could be more devastating on his opponent. Such a potentially deadly attack, yet so simple to counter as well. Since, his opponent did Focus Point, this would have the equivalent effect of a gaian that normally had extraordinary senses above that of a human's.

The original intention was the WTF reaction attempt and the breath. However, his opponent's Focus point did the main part of the rest.

Now onto the brick..

Just as quickly as it went flying towards Raichu, it would go flying back to his opponent with the target being his opponent's nuts. Raichu simply sidestepped the brick, grabbed it with his freehand, turned around to keep in motion with the throw and keep the momentum going and threw it back to Victor, aiming for hos groin. The very fact that the electric charge didn't look to activate on Raichu would reveal that there was something that wa shock-resistant on Raichu's being. It could be his staff, his very clothes, or perhaps something under his clothes. It wouldn't matter yet, because his opponent had to now deal with A shout, suddenness, noise, and breath from it, as well as a renegade brick aiming for his manhood. If any electricity remained in the brick, it could shock him as well.

Victor was surprised by the shouting attack that was launched at him. It was one of the last moves that he could've expected. But Focus Point was activated to track any irregularities from this man, be it movement or spell. Unless this man was to keep completely still, Victor would be able to keep track of this man's actions. And there was one factor that Raichu didn't plan for...

Raichu had underestimated Victor's reaction time. The second that Raichu would launch off such an explosive shout; Victor would simply zone out of Focus Point. This would minimize the damage by a significant amount, causing it to be an almost useless attack. Would Raichu really think that Victor would let himself be overwhelmed during one of his own attacks?

The sound waves did vibrate through his ears; but it was only a simple ringing noise. It would go away after a few seconds. And the smell was noticeable, but zoning out of Focus Point had nullified most of it. It only made Victor feel somewhat disgusted with his current opponent.

It was also a surprise to see his own brick coming back to hit him. Victor hadn't expected Raichu to swing the brick back at him. Otherwise, he would've turned it into a bunch of metallic spikes to impale him with. And given the speed of the weapon and without Focus Point... It would normally prove to be a bad situation.

Victor was in for a lucky break. He wore metallic jeans. It was provided for leg armor against sharp weaponry, but it covered his entire bottom half. It was solid enough to handle a claymore being slammed into them. And it would be able to absorb quite a bit of the impact. But it was mostly blunt damage towards Victor's most vulnerable area. This was where Victor's full control of Wrathica would come into play. All he had to do was change the size of the brick to something that wouldn't hurt. Controlling it at any distance, he spread out the brick into several small marbles.

It was a failed counter attack on Raichu's part. The numerous marbles simply bounced off of his armored legs. Because Raichu was disrespectful enough to shoot his own weapon at his nuts; it was a backfire on a good opportunity. The electrical charges in the brick would be absorbed through the metallic pant leg. It was a deceptive move on Victor's part, but he made it look like his pants could absorb the electricity. In reality, it was one of his weapons that did such an act.

Victor was also surprised that Raichu didn't fall for his acting abilities. Either his opponent was stupid or didn't analyze his tricks. There was no more need to act around this disgusting individual. And it was visibly shown in Victor's face that he was astonished by his speedy counterattack. Unbelievable that he would encounter another lightning resistant user, too. His eyes showed a bit more concern after leaving Focus Point abruptly. But he didn't get too careless. Focus Point would be unnecessary against someone as vulgar and disgusting as him; only giving him a headache if he tried to analyze Raichu's attacks. Reaction and luck were on his side.

It seemed like this opponent would be full of surprises. Raichu's only success was in his suddenness. Everything else in his attack had failed to capitalize on damage; excluding minor smelling nuisances that would go away in less than a few seconds.

Wrathica had been expanding in his hands for long time. There was no need to hide the fact that he was increasing the size of his weapon. While extending the length of Wrathica, he would let a small segment launch itself off. The piece would be approximately a foot in length, but it scattered into small dart-like weapons. The projectiles would be an inch in length, small enough to be unable to catch. Twelve small darts would keep Raichu at bay, while Victor simply relaxed for now. It was time to relax, while he let Raichu play around with the chain.

((Victor said he would rather win the fight via fighting than the 3 day post rule. So he gave me permission to continue. Thanks for being patient with me Victor. I'll try not to disappoint.))

The brick throwback was more of an information gatherer than a counterattack. He found out about a few properties of the weapon, his armored pants, the fact that he can charge electricity into his weapon since he didn't notice it when he touched the brick, and that he seemed a bit concerned for the shouting for some reason.

Both of his hands came to the center of his staff and stuck it out as far as he could in front of him. He proceeded to jump into the air, spinning within it. It would look like his body was coming to almost parallel to the ground while the darts were launched. The idea was to use the spinning staff as a defense while minimizing the area of his body that could be hit if anything slipped through the spinning defense.

5 darts slipped through while not having touched Raichu, the other 7 were stuck embedded in his adamantium staff. Upon touchdown onto the ground, he lands perfectly on both feet. His staff going back to be held in one hand. This would not be a time to relax for his opponent. Causing he was approaching him while suckily singing? The words being a repeatence of "Dooya, dieya." The words did not have any meaning behind them except that they were being 'sung' as loud as they could. This being due to his opponent having seem to show certain for the first shout in the first place. Raichu would see if the loudness or the smell would truly affect his opponent in close range or not.
PostPosted: Tue Aug 08, 2006 5:45 pm

(No problem. wink )

Victor smirked at Raichu's decent agility. It was impressive to watch him avoid the darts; giving Victor a chance to relax for a moment. It would allow him to continue charging up the chain; while keeping himself from expending too much energy.

Victor kept extending the length of the chain, continuing to add to it's enormous size. It was about sixteen feet; when he returned his focus on Raichu. Glancing over at him, he realized that he was closing in. His smirk slowly turned to a face of disgust, unhappy with the sounds and smell. Raichu's smell was very bothering, but he was able to desensitize himself to most of it. Normally, he would complain about his opponent's smell. But the smell would only get worse if he opened his mouth. He didn't need to taste the smell, too. Focus Point wasn't on, adding to the insignifigance that it possessed. Raichu's singing was very annoying too; but irrelevant at this point. Focus Point wasn't up, therefore it didn't hurt his ears.

It seemed like Raichu was trying to piss off Victor. Or he was retarded enough to keep singing a terrible song during battle. Either way, it had successfully annoyed the hell out of him. But it only caused him to become more concentrated on his energy charge; preparing for an offensive assault.

Wrathica split itself in half, eight feet of it in each hand. The eight feet in his left hand would quickly launch itself towards Raichu; spreading itself into an 8x8 foot metallic net. It's metallic substance was very similar to the quality of adamantium; except it's could be made into more elastic forms. The net would be a prime example of this. It would be less dense than Raichu's staff; but thick enough to cause problems if he let it come too close.

While Raichu would play with the chain; Victor slowly transformed both of his wrists and hands into ADNRs (Aggregated Diamond Nanorods). Since he had time to chill out; he wouldn't hasten the transformation process of his Sunday punch. Therefore, wasting less energy and still producing the same effect.

Victor would now pick up the pace of the battle.

((Sorry.))

The net was fast approaching. Though what happened was a bit unusual. The first second of it being nearby, His arms became parallel to the ground, yet outstretched out in front of him and in back. He held his staff in his backhand. His body basically, within the same 'line' that his arms are forming. His leg formation consisted of his front leg under directly under his front arm, perpendicularly while facing in the same direction of the respective arm. His back leg a little bit distance in back of Dreslin. It was directly under his back arm, however it faced at a 90 degree angle instead. A light red glow surrounded Raichu's body.

The net would seem like it sorta would through Raichu at first, only to catch nothing. For nothing was there. For Raichu wasn't in the same place anymore. If Victor would like 5 feet to the right of the original spot, he would see Raichu had in fact moved pretty freckin fast outta the way. The glow fading as quick as possible. A look on the ground would reveal that many steps were taken on the ground in the course of a short period of time. Meaning Raichu did stay in this realm of reality and stayed on the ground. The glow faded as quickly as it came.

This kind of maneuver was meant to go off as the first second being net would seem to reach him with the next second revealing that he moved pretty much outta the way. How he moved so fast in so short a time period may be a new mystery to solve since the glow didn't exactly stick around too long to reveal anything much.

Raichu would then be seen still coming a bit closer at a time at his opponent. Staff in left hand while his body was now vulgar-thrusting-hopping toward him. Intending for an insult as well as approaching.
PostPosted: Mon Aug 21, 2006 11:41 am

Victor wasn't too happy with Raichu's antics; but it did keep him focused on his opponent. His face only expressed a glaring scowl towards Raichu's insulting antics. He would've made some witty comeback; but Raichu's smell would've gotten into his mouth. He didn't want to taste his terrible scent. And he was amazed that Raichu could even stand himself; let alone function well in a fight without his own smell affecting him.

The metallic net was used to keep Raichu busy. Luckily, it revealed one of Raichu's special powers as well. It was for only a split second, but Victor knew what he had seen. His eyes were able to spot the light-red glow that emitted from Raichu's body; giving him the chance to analyze what it was. Raichu's unbelievably quick movement to avoid his net was showing a temporary aura that surrounded him. And it appeared to be super speed at first glance, but Victor didn't buy into the aura completely. All he knew was that Raichu might've been quicker than him... For now.

It didn't rattle him at all. Victor still had a consistent strength and toughness advantage in his mind. He finally transformed both of his wrists and hands into ADNRs (Aggregated Diamond Nanorods). His hands were shaped like before; but they were visibly thicker and sturdier. It could've been mistaken for skin-tight gauntlets; if a pair ever existed. And they were going to be a frightening experience for Raichu; if he got hit by his newly formed fists.

Keeping his chain around his wrists; he would quickly let the chains fall off his wrists. It would simply drop down at his stomach level. The remaining eight feet would wrap itself around the stomach and lower back area of his body. It would present itself as another built in armor; making his defense much sturdier. The metal that was used for the chains; was also used in making his pants. The only difference was that it was a bit more elastic and controllable in Victor's hands. It was still sturdy enough to keep him protected from most blunt damage.

He proceeded to return to his orthodox boxing stance. It would keep his head and upper torso covered; while his metallic jeans kept his legs protected from any blows. The chain took care of the areas between his arms and metallic pants; leaving nothing exposed to any melee offensive by Raichu.

Victor only needed to land a solid punch to end this match; even if Raichu managed to blitz in. It could also take several hits to win; depending on how tough his opponent was. It was irrelevant, since it was time to take him a bit more seriously. He continued to build up a good defense; since it would give him a stronger advantage in rushing in on Raichu. He wasn't going to launch any overwhelming offense; until he spotted the weakness he wanted in Raichu's attack.

And he wasn't going to pull out the trump cards yet. But he was planning on finishing this match with a powerful special. Raichu was closing in the distance from before; and it wasn't going to end pretty for Raichu if he fell into Victor's current trap. It wasn't visually noticable to anyone; but electricity was charging up from the Kali-Yuga.

Suddenly, there a stop in the thrusting motion. He took note of the new defense and that something was going on with the hands. Bigger and thicker fists usually meant really bad news. He would simply have to try to avoid them. But for now, he would try his own little offensive maneuver.

He made a short dash for most the remaining distance between them. Taking a hold of his staff with both hands like a person would a baseball bat. He skidded to a halt a few feet short of his opponent and proceeded to make an impromptu golf swing with his staff, left foot foward. Oddly enough, if his opponent stood still, he would not be hit by it. Nay, the staff would come up a bit short of reaching any part of his body. However, this wasn't the purpose of the attack.

The purpose had more to do with the sand covering the stone on the ground. The dash to golf swing was so that the momentum could be used to gather sand in front of the staff and drag it forward as the staff moved forward for the swing. When the staff was lifted upward, the built-in sand would be flung up into the air, and possibly into his opponent's eyes to temporarily blind him.
