Should I even bother killing ruby or emerald weapon?? Is it worth it, I beat Sephiroth once already and well.. that was very unfulfilling. I ecpected a little more pezzaz.. what do you guys think?

If you kill both of them, you get items that you can give to a guy in one of the towns and he'll give you a gold chocobo, and then you can get Knights of the Round and watch it's total coolness when you summon them. pirate

It's a sucky Chocobo though. And it's much more gratifying to breed your own. lol

Really, the only real bonus to beating them, (in my opinion,) is for bragging rights. lol

I suppose almost ten years after its release, beating it now for the first time would be a little bleak compared to all the new games and their pizzaz.

But when I beat it the first time, I was impressed. And satisfied. It ends how it begins, with Aeris and the Lifestream.

If you are a powergamer who likes to get everything out of the game. Or if you like a good challenge, then sure taking on Ruby and Emerald is most definitly worth it. If you beat Ruby, you get a gold chocobo from the Kalm trader. But if you beat Emerald, the Kalm trader will give you a complete set of master materia.

There are a number of ways to beat Ruby and Emerald. But I doubt we'll spoil those on you, unless you specifically ask. All I'll say is: "You are in for the hardest 2 fights in the game. You will get beaten down. You will get repeatedly smashed. But it can be done. Give it your best shot."
