In his baby Azurill form, poor Holden hasn’t grown arms yet or so it seems. Instead of normal human ears, he has mouse ears that are slightly larger than a human’s ear. Away from that, he has too small, white smalls on his cheeks. His tail is quite thin and rubbery, while zigzagged all the way down until you reach the bottom, where there is a large, cushion-like, rubber sphere attached. The bottom is large enough for the boy to sit on and use it as a toy.
Once Holden evolves to a Marill, the white spots disappear from his cheeks. His tail has now reached the limit to wear it can suspend Holden’s body, much like what a monkey can do. And his arms are grown in, looking as normal as possible (aside from his skin color).
When becoming an Azumarill, Holden’s ears grow enormously large and now resemble like a rabbit’s, instead of a mouse’s. The blue ball isn’t as big as it was before, but actually quite small. A bubble-like pattern has appear on his lower stomach, giving him the talent of camouflage when in water.
Eye color: Blue
Skin Tone: Holden’s skin is a darker version of sky blue. His whole body is that color except for three other places. The first is the inside of his ears, which are pink. The second his tail, which is black until it reaches it’s end, where there is a blue ball. He also has these small, white circles at the ends of his cheeks. Those disappear as soon as he evolves into Marill.
Being a Marill, his skin color is a little lighter than before. His area around his belly is now white, while the inside of his ears are red instead of pink.
His skin color hasn’t really changed anymore but now his lower abdomen has changed from a plain white circle to a bubble-like pattern.
Hairstyle & Color: He has blue hair, sky blue to be exact. His hair has a feeling as if each strand was made out of glass. One side of his hair is neatly combed, while the other side seems as if it had been rubbed by a balloon.
Starting Clothing: He wears white pants that and a blue, long sleeved shirt that matches with his skin color, but only fairly lighter. Wrapped around his next is a scarf that is half white, half blue. (Scarf is optional…)
Outline Personality: Little Holden is known to be very shy. If ever you were to come up to him as a stranger and say hi, he’d most likely faint or start running away. But it’s not because he hates strangers or anything, he’s actually scared of them. He’s afraid that they might think he’s weirdo, coward, or just not like him back. Even once you befriend him, he’ll still be quite timid but at least he won’t run away!
He finds it much better to talk with an inanimate object or an animal, knowing that it won’t say anything bad about him. Because of his tight relationship with those things, he’ll get depressed if something breaks or if an animal dies/gets injury/etc.
