I was just wondering...how many of you think Sasuke deserves Sakura? We all know that Sakura deserves Sasuke. I mean she's given up countless things for him including her friendship with Ino! But what has Sasuke given her? Nothing but pain and sadness. So I'm just wondering what people have to say about this? Personally, I don't think he deserves her but since i'm such a Sakura fan i'm cheering her and Sasuke on.

No. So far, I really DON'T think he deserves her. Sakura's done a LOT for Sasuke, and what Sasuke's donefor her doesn't quite add up in my book.
HOWEVER! Before the SasuSaku fans shoot me.
Sasuke doesn't WANT to deserve Sakura right now. He doesn't have time for relationships; his main focus is killing Itachi. Until his goal is reached, he'll never have any kind of relationship on his mind.
Now, when he does get his revenge, he's going to have to somehow get out of Orochimaru's grasp. How THAT will happen, I have no clue, but I doubt that Orochimaru will be successful in getting Sasuke to be his container.
After all is said and done, I think that Sasuke will THEN think about a relationship. He's already acknowledged before he left that had close relations with Naruto and Sakura, and he has already let Sakura know that he has recognized and accepted her feelings. He thanked her for it.
Now, when he's back in Konoha, he'll focus on Goal #2: Restore the Uchiha Clan. Now, I frankly don't see him getting together with anyone but Sakura. I also don't see Sakura willing to marry Sasuke just because of his goal. She's better than that.
I think Sasuke will most likely end up loving Sakura in time. According to the Databook that Kishimoto wrote him self:
"The one that filled his lonely existence was Sakura. But he cannot let her in."
To me, this states that if Sasuke wouldn't have chosen to be an avenger, he certainly would have returned Sakura's feelings. After he gets his revenge, he'll be able to do so, so I think it will happen.
So even if he doesn't deserve her NOW, I think he WILL later. =3 And Sakura does deserve him, so I am hoping and praying that they DO get together. <3

Well, I don't like the term "deserve" since it sounds like Sakura is a prize to be won (I've meet many SasuSaku fans at different forums who felt this way x_X)
Now, back on topic. So one of the questions the first post is "But what has Sasuke given her?" He does things for her but the things he does for her are very small and simple. He protects her. He saves her. He cheered her up. He demanded to know who hurts her.
Sasuke called her annoying. However, that made her realize how rude she acts towards Naruto and made her consider being a little bit nicer to him. Sasuke rejected every date. He's mind is on Itachi and he can't let anything let his mind drift away from that. He's full of guilt and he is broken into pieces. Sasuke cannot rest until Itachi is dead. And like Iia said, "He doesn't have time for relationships". Yes, Sasuke made Sakura gone through pain and sadness but that helped Sakura grow into the person she is now.
What he does for her are very, very small but it's there. Even if Sasuke himself doesn't think he deserves Sakura (which does seems a little bit realistic to me), Sakura will still love Sasuke.
And one more thing, I kinda disagree with the "she's given up countless things for him including her friendship with Ino." That's part of the reason but she mainly gave up her friendship with Ino because she didn't want to be a shadow to Ino. Sakura and Ino are still friends yet rivals at the same time (.. I kinda wish I had a friend like that x_x)

I HATE this argument. Any type of 'deserve' argument I just detest.
Sakura isn't a prize to be won.
To be honest, no, I don't really think Sasuke deserves her. Lee does. But does she deserve Lee? Not really. Not how she treated him when they first met. Sure, she treats him differently later on, but that's after he risked his life to protect her.
Then again, Naruto deserves her, too -- but I personally don't think she deserves him, either.
I'd go deeper into what I think of Sasuke, but seriously.. Remedi and Kawaii_Angel have said everything I would have, and even more, probably.
Saying who deserves who hurts and helps nearly every logical pairing. And it's a stupid thing to bring up in anykind of real debate.

I like to think about this kinds of threads as in "does Sasuke deserve to be loved by Sakura?"
Anyhows, I don't think Sasuke deserves Sakura's love. Even though he has shown that he cares for her, he still was an a** with her from time to time. Sakura has shown that she loves Sasuke, maybe too much. Sasuke shouldn't really treat her like garbage like he sometimes does. Sakura tries to make Sasuke feel loved. Still, the times Sasuke had treated Sakura badly like when he called her annoying, helped her see the way she treated Naruto. It helped her grow as person and stopped being such a selfish girl. In any case, I think Sakura gave Sasuke part of what he lost and he knows it.
Now, Sasuke doesn't deserve Sakura...never ever! Sakura should just leave him and go with someone else. I apologize for saying this but the way Sasuke has changed and the person he turned to, isn't someone to love.

Sakura seems to think so. They do in fact have a bond from being in the same team but yea I think so. Sasuke understands Sakura and has a soft spot for her like no one else. I think he pushes her away for alot of reasons, he doens't want any attachment if there is the chance he'll die against Itachi and he thinks he needs to do anything and everything to get there and that would be a lot harder with her around. Also, I think that he doesn't want there to be the chance of losing someone he loves so he tries to make her hate him. He does, in fact, have a soft spot for as you can see in alot of episodes if you watch his facial expressions which is well thought out on the artist's part.

But I hope she gets over him sometime though, because he's just not good enough any more. Naruto has proven multiple times that he's better than her. Even perhaps Lee too wink
I liked SasuSaku up untill he left for good (and the fanart I can't resist :3)

Personally, I don't think Sasuke deserves Sakura. However, Sakura does deserve Sasuke.
One of the worst things imaginable happened to Sasuke when he was only a child. It would really mess him up- really, I'm suprised at how sane he is now ^^;
The point I'm trying to get at here is that if Sakura can live with the fact that Sasuke has to avenge his clan first, then perhaps they really do have a chance to be together. heart

I don't think that Sasuke really deserves Sakura at all. Even though I'm a SasuSaku Fan, Sasuke has never done anything to deserve anything about Sakura. If the question was the other way around i guess it would be okay since Sakura is doing so much for Sasuk, but Sasuke doesn't deserve anything of Sakura. Sorry, if I don't make any sence at all! sweatdrop
