Anyone ever play or remember these type of games? I didn't have many, (infact I think I've only played a few but I have some on my SD card to play now) but I love them. Simon the Sorcerer will always be my fave & I remember playing the first two Broken Swords on the PS1. My partner got the GBA version when he brought it.

Fond memories of getting frustrated over puzzles. xd heart

I love point and click adventures. In fact, just a few months ago I went on a rampage for P'n'C's. I found a nifty little site that lists TONS, but most of them aren't actually worth playing.

Lazylaces
GameHippo

Both of those list and review quite a few. As for P'n'C's on consoles, well. I never really got into any other than the Broken Swords. Unless you count Zac McCracken & Maniac Mansion.

I hear MM mentioned a fair bit from friends, I've got Zac on the SD card but I haven't tried it yet. xp

I love both of those games so hard. Like Monkey Island, they use what is usually called dry humor, but it's awesome. MM was the first game, if I remember right, that used the SCUMM system that we saw in the Monkey Island games. Zac was just awesome because of the total randomness. MM was awesome because it was pretty damn hard for it's day and age. I lost count of how many times I got caught by the dr's wife or whatever she was and thrown in the prison, unable to find my way out.

I love point and click games because they're the kind of game I can play when I'm watching TV or eating, and I only need to use half of my attention to play and not die. biggrin
