What songs evoke emotional responses in you?
Me, I can't listen to Alabama's You'll never be one again without tearing up.
My dad missed my whole first year pretty much, because he was away at basic training, he wasn't even there when I was born, and he listened to country music and he would sometimes put the song on and I know he LOVED that song because it made him think about me.
And now that I have daughters whew....The first time he sings "You'll never be one again" TEARS.
I never used to be a sap. xd

My kid has been watching Dumbo over and over again lately. Whenever the scene comes on when Dumbo is visiting his mom in lockup and the lullabye comes on I have to leave the room or I start crying. It used to get me as a kid but now as a mom I just start balling.

Oh I love that dumbo song. I always sing it to the girl.
The song that always gets me choked up is "Longer" by Dan Fogelberg. Oddly enough, it is because it was the song my dad danced with my sister to at her wedding. I was the one who pick it out for them though. And it just always always makes me tear up, even now just thinking about it.

Oh god, this is going to make me sound so stupid but...
The Buffy/Angel love-theme, "Close your eyes," always leaves me balling, because I imagine what if it were me and Chris and I just sob like a baby.
