You will each have twenty character points. The maximum score for any Stat is 6. You may have only one 6. As a human being, you may only have an average of 4.5 or less for your stats. Does this mean don't take that six? No, it means if you take that six, you're taking two threes. Maybe a 3 and 4. You're just above average, that's why you're still alive. Who knows if that'll be true when the sun goes down?

You may take any of the following attributes to the levels indicated.
Animal Friendship: No Limit. Forewarning, this may have little use.
Appearance: Level 3. No limit if you take Art of Distaction 1 or lower.
Art of Distraction: LV 4
Aura of Command: LV 3
Combat Mastery: LV 3
Damn Healthy!: LV 3
Divine Relationship: No limit.
Energy Bonus: LV 3
Extra Attacks: LV 1
Focused Damage: LV 2. ((Unarmed, Handgun, or Rifle only.))
Gun Bunny: No Portable Armory.
Hieghtened Awareness: LV1
Highly Skilled: LV3
Kensei: No Katana Space.
Massive Damage: LV 2
Mechanical Genius: LV 1
Personal Gear: Special Limitations. No level limit. See below.
Servant: LV6. Cannot be replaced ((1 pt/lv))

I realize this is a very limited list. You're normal people.

Defects that give bonuses:
Ageism: 1 point.
Akward: 1 or 2 points.
Akward Size: 1 point
Cannot Talk: 1 or 2 points.
Easily Distracted: 1 or 2 points.
Inept Combat: 1 or 2 points.
Marked: 1 or 2 points.
Not So Fast: 1 or 2 Points.
Not So Strong: 1 or 2 Points.
Not so Tough: 1 or 2 Points.
One Arm: 1 point.
Phobia: 1 point. May award 2 Points for certain phobias.
Recurring Nightmares: 1 or 2 points.
Unskilled: 1 or 2 Points.

Now, the above list is important for one reason: You can have many of the other defects. They don't give bonus points for one primary reason: They will not come up in setting.

Personal Gear Stats!
Mundane:
Knife: 5 DMG, Concealable, Melee, skill Melee (Knife.)
Rope: About 50 foot of rope.
Backpack: This allows you to carry more items than you normally would.
Flashlight: A flashlight will help mitigate penalties in the dark. A Flashlight is considered to have enough batteries to last the adventure, except in dramatic situations.
Camp Stove: Small portable stove with propane bottle. A single propane bottle will last about ten meals. Comes with one bottle.
Minor Items:
Propane Bottle: Replacement for the Camp Stove's bottle.
Ammunition: Replacement clip for any weapon. Specify which weapon when chosen.
Light pistol: 5DMG, Concealable, Low Penetration, Short Range, Limited Shots(12) Gun Combat (Pistol.)
Medium Pistol: 5DMG, Concealable, Short Range, Limited Shots (9) Gun Combat (Pistol.)
Major Items:
Shotgun: 15DMG, Spreading, Limited Shots(6), Low Penetration. Gun Combat (Rifle)
Hunting Rifle: 10DMG, Limited Shots(9). Gun Combat (Rifle.)

Now, the MOST important rule of the game.

ANY character you produce MUST have a back story. I'd like this backstory presented as a short personal history from 100-1000 words. It must show, though not specifically state, how all the attributes and skills came to be combined in this specific character. This means a high school student with an automatic pistol is gonna be a no go. A gangbanger teen with a Light Pistol or Medium Pistol might make sense. All skills must reflect your character's history and profession, or hobbies.

EDIT: So everyone knows, since I've had people cringe at the character history requirement: I DO NOT EXPECT A WORK OF ART. Basics is all I want. Family members, important accomplishments, how they spend their free time. Give me a Myspace introduction.

So for those who've now read this entire rule set, I'll make it quite simple: Munchkins, get out, you're not welcome, if you end up joining, you'll be dead early. I guarantee it.

For everyone else. This is Survival Horror. The chances of survival are low, even with access to the weapons outlined above. The type of players I'm looking for are the type that are okay with knowing they'll probably be dead by the end of a session, and that just learning a secret or two along the way is worth the cost.

Please PM me the character sheets, so that I can go over them and we can discuss any problems before they get posted below. This is the thread for questions, answers, and OOC chatter.
