also there is power tab editor, you can get the software online but I don't know the site I had one of my friends install it on my laptop for me so i'll get the hyperlink for it sometime

www.911tabs.com is the best source for tabs because it has all the tab sites linked to it. Godd for bass and guitar.

I personally hated MX Tabs. Couldn't go there without getting a dozen popups with each click. Perhaps they cleaned up in the 3 years since I last gave them a chance, but those few trips were enough to turn me off from it for good.

I'm surprised nobody's mentioned the Bass Tab Archive, which has been one of the most reliable resources I've found in the time I've been playing. It started as the bass wing of OLGA, but kind of took a life of its own from there.

When I can't find what I'm looking for on the BTA (e.g. Spinal Tap's "Big Bottom"), I go to http://www.allguitartabs.com

google is a pretty easy scource.
but if that ever fails, dogpile.com is a stronger search engine.

erm, bassmasta. not bad, they have 5 star tabs occaisonally. but most of the time one or more of the requested tabs are crap.

whats with bassmasta lately? every second tab i try to view says it has been taken off due to legal reasons and the social network thingy closed down.
