(( A log of old Amari RPs that took place in the pridelands. ))

`Zoe
A golden coloured femme ran along the dusty ground, each paw thrusting herself towards the river in thirsty anticipation. She reclined swiftly and began to lap up the water, the deep sapphire occuli of hers surveying the plains before her. Her maw opening into a graceful yawn, showing the white shining ivories of the juvenile. She lowered herself to the ground slightly and gazed to the sky, the sun almost blinding her as she did so.

Kimaria
Basking in the delightful sun was a brilliant young male, his mane was just starting to thicken out and already he was showing promise of becoming a fine male.

He had been lying, draped across a large flat rock that overlooked the river, his eyes half-lidded as sleep threatened to take him. For a moment though he thought there had been no other presence around...but no.

A young female - a beautiful young female - had happened to cross his path. Could this be destiny?

He pulled himself up onto his paws, shook his man and leapt down onto the grass, his paws making a dull thud on contact.

"Why hello there beautiful." He purred, she hadn't seemed to have noticed him.

`Zoe
Maawio lifted her maw from the water and blinked towards the male. She had never been spoken to like that before. She smiled slightly. "H-hi... Im Maawio" She said, forcing herself to become more confident. He was a fine male, and a juvenile, like herself. "Whats your name?" She asked, her wide eyes looking up to him as she was still reclined.

She looked to the sleeping creature and grinned to herself.

Kimaria
Too caught up in the splender of the young lioness, Amari had not noticed the sleeping creature, if he had he probably would have tried to eat it. "Such an elegant name, suiting for someone of your looks." He bowed his head, moving to sit beside her, his eyes settling on her pretty, yet graceful features.

"No need to look so nervous my dear. I am Amari, quite famous in these parts you know." Well that of course was a lie. He wasn't famous for anything other than eyeing up women and getting into fight with fellow lions of his age.

"Do you need some company? I have a window open in my schedule today." He flashed a charming but rather toothy grin at her. Oh how he had missed this.

`Zoe
Maawio smiled. "Sure." She said, "I have to admit, it is rather unusual to see a fine male such as yourself in these parts." She didnt feel that nervous anymore, and it was great to have some company. She pulled herself up a bit. "You are definately new here though," She said, grinning. "Being one of the pridelanders I cant see i've seen you around before." She pawed at the ground, she still felt nervous, but she was trying not to show it...

Kimaria
Well her first comment certainly gave this young male an ego boost. He pulled himself up into a much straighter position, reaching up to lay a paw on her shoulder. "My dear, it honours me that you would think so."

Then suddenly things began to fall apart, she knew that he had only recently crossed into the area, and she was a pridelander. Just his luck he happened to set eyes upon the first beautiful femme that he had seen in weeks, and she turned out to be part of a pride.

His nose wrinkled and he shook his mane, getting up onto his paws and strutting over to the water. "Well I'm a wanderer by nature Princess." He smirked, deciding he might as well enjoy this whilst it lasted. "I go where the wind takes me, I crave adventure! I think...we are from two different worlds."

He leapt onto a smooth rock that jutted up from the surface of the river and turned back to gaze upon the female. "Don't you get bored of staying in the same place?" He knew that he had.

`Zoe
"Im leaving soon anyway, I can stand it here, with my mother, she pressurizes me into every single thing. She wants me to marry the prince, but no-way. Im leaving with a few friends, hopefully soon..." She said. "I dont know what im going to do, i guess Ill just travel." She nodded and lay down a little, sighing.

Kimaria
His ears drooped as he swivvelled around to face her from his perch on the rock. "Parent's are like that." He shrugged, eyes darkening as he remembered his own family, they had been like that too. "They like to make our lives hell, it brings them great joy in doing so, or that's what I reckon anyway. Or worse is that they don't even realise they are doing it." He sighed, and flicked his tail in annoyance.

Damn, she was going away with friends? Wait...! Maybe there would be more beautiful girls for him to meet! "Tell me, how old are these friends and are they lionesses such as yourself?"

`Zoe
"Nope. One who is older, but shes taken." She nodded. "But they arent too keen on bringing me along because Im younger...Maybe I should go with someone else, or by myself?" She asked, licking her paw thoughtfully. She stretched out and looked back the male with her giant sapphire eyes. "What would you do?"

Kimaria
Hmm that was a shame, he was too late to catch the older lioness, but maybe he still had a chance with this one. She seemed very friendly, and her fur did look silky smooth indeed.

"They don't want to take you because you're younger than they are? Well they don't sound like the kind of cats you want to be hanging around with gorgeous." He beamed at her again, curving his neck proudly and puffing up his chest.

"Travelling alone can be fun, the sun knows I've been doing it long enough, but it's good to adventure with someone else, eh?" At her questioning eyes he faltered, round ears drawing forwards as he gaze at her. Those brilliant orbs...he could get lost in them any day. "Princess, if I were you, I'd go with someone, strong, brave and clever...someone like." He paused, "me!" He struck a proudly male pose only to find his front paws sliding on the edge of the wet stone, and before he knew what was happening he was tumbling forwards, slipping into the depths of the river with a tremendous splash.

'Oh great' he thought miserably, 'that totally spoiled the look I was going for.'

`Zoe
Maawio smiled and tugged on him to retrieve him from the water. She giggled. “Really? But why should I go with you?” She said, her voice smoother than usual.

Mahiri grinned and padded towards Maawio, giving her a friendly nudge. “Hey Maawio.”
She smiled back. “Hey, this is Amari.” She said, her occuli shimmering a little as she mentioned his name.

Kimaria
He felt her grab at his paws and he scrabbled up onto the bank, water clinging to his fur and soaking his mane so he looked like some scraggly overgrown rat. He coughed once, stood and shook himself, annoyed that the warmth of the sun held in his fur was now gone.

At her question he paused, glancing at her again through the strands of his drenched mane which hung in his eyes. "Well, because I know the areas well, I'm also great company." He nudged at her playfully with a paw only to stop as this other lion approached.

A brow kinked in question and his nose twitched as he rose up to glance at this newcomer. "Maawio..." Amari huffed, eyes never once leaving that of the strange male. "Who is this?" How dare this male invade on his woman!

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
Maawio smiled, "He's Mahiri, my friend." She said, nodding. She looked to Mahiri and grinned again. "Amari is new in the area, like you."

Mahiri smiled. "Ah yes, Maawio has been showing me around." He said, sitting down up the slightly cracked earth. "So what have you been up to, another newcomer like me surely is on an adventure?"

Kimaria
"Mahiri..." He muttered, his snout wrinkling in distaste, he didn't like this male, he was acting too friendly with his Maawio. "Yeah well if he wants to travel there's no point in letting us stop him. You can never have too many adventures, and I'm sure he's about ready for another, right buddy?" He stressed the affectionate word so it didn't sound as friendly as it should.

He stood up, taking a step forwards in a protective manner, looking at the pale coloured male with a silent threat. It wasn't a strong one but he hoped that this male would take the hint.

He had claimed this gold femme as his own.

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
Maawio looked towards Amari with a silent laugh. Turning to face Mahiri was even more hilarious. Mahiris face wore an expression of total confusion. "Erm, I think Ill go play with this rock, yep, oops, its rolling, hang on." He padded after the rolling rock as it rolled down a cliff. "Still rolling..." He poked it futher, down the small cliff and next to the trees. "Stiiiiilll rolling..." He said, quietly slipping away.

Maawio laughed and sat in front of Amari, her sapphire eyes surveying him again. She felt quite weird... It was a sickly exicted kind of feeling...

Kimaria
Wow, that had been easy, much easier than it usually was. Most of the time the male fought back and there was usually teeth involved. However he was glad it hadn't gone that far.

He flexed his claws and turned to meet Maawio's gaze, hoping she wasn't too mad, but she had to understand. She could only have him, not that white creature too. Her laughter seemed to indicate that she wasn't too worried, or maybe she had not noticed his threatening stance. Yes that must be it. Wow he had never believed he could be subtle about anything. This had to be a first.

He couldn't help but meet her gaze again, she had such beautiful jewelled eyes, and they seemed to sparkle even more under the sun. "Uh...are you okay?" He asked, shifting on his front paws to end the silence that had fallen over them.

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
She let her laugh fade away before replying. "Yeah, he'll be fine." She said. "Have you seen a brown adolescent male around anywhere?" She asked, hoping he wouldnt take it as another threat. "He's my brother, well, adopted." She explained, nudging one of Amaris paws gently. She lay down and stretched out a little more. "So, what do you like to do?" She asked, her eyes wondering around the area a little more.

Kimaria
Amari thwapped his tail on the ground at the mention of another male in the vicinity...okay so perhaps there were going to be a whole lot, but did they all have to make friends with his girl?

Brother...the tension eased from his chest and he wondered how big this young girl's family was. Would they be annoyed that she had left? Would they hunt her down and kill the one who they thought had taken her. Perhaps he was getting himself in too deep here.

"Nope, sorry princess. You're the first I've seen in atleast a week." He stretched his body, shaking the damp feel from his fur before lying beside her on the grass, limbs spread out so that the sun could once again warm him.

"Me? Well I like to investigate things mostly." He rolled over onto his back, stomach revealed to his air and his paws curled up against him. "Caves, jungles...anything really. You never know what you might find." He yawned, pearly teeth flashing briefly as his maw opened. "Sometimes it can get pretty dangerous, but there's nothing out there I can't handle" There was a glint of mischief in his eyes. "How about you, what do these lands offer?"

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
She paused, the land here was pretty boring, she sighed. "Not much really, i'd rather be a rogue to be honest, less hassle." She yawned, showing her pearly white teeth. "But there are many different lions here and you can find a mate and have children, and its pretty much a solid pack, although I crave adventure." She added, rolling onto the ground and facing the sun. "So where have you been so far in your travels?"

Kimaria
"Yes, there's something positively romantic about being a rogue, wandering the lands without a care in the world. Following the path the wind takes you or the setting sun as it dips behind the trees." He sighed, rolling onto his side, resting the side of his face against one arm to look at her.

His eyes brightened at the mention of finding a mate, settling down and raising a family. He slipped this information away to use later, right now he had to answer her questions.

"I've been pretty far I suppose, never stay in one place too long you know. There's no point making too many friends, cos you'll be leaving them soon anyway. Being in a pride just isn't for me, it holds back my freedom." He closed his eyes, imagining the places he had seen. "I have gazed upon the most magical of dawns, seen stars streak across the sky." He opened one eye to gaze at her once more. "The world is a truly amazing place if only you take that first step to break free from bonds and embrace it." He shookk his head, "There have been too many places to remember..." He trailed off, his voice nothing more than a whisper.

"So...the whole mate and cubs thing...is that the life for you?" He asked, wanting so desperately to ask the question and at the same time terrified of hearing the answer.

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
Maawios eyes were wide..." Your life sounds amazing..." She sighed happily. A little startled at his question she answered truthfully all the same. "Well, Yes, I think it would be great to settle down, have cubs, but I didnt really think I would ever meet anyone..." She blushed under her golden fur. Maybe he was the one? Or maybe she was just another number .in his little black book. "What about you?" She asked, facing him and her large eyes showing a little of her emotions... She felt pretty happy with Amari, she felt as if she didnt have to be nervous, as if he had shown her not to be... She smiled to herself, awaiting his answer.

Kimaria
"Yeah it's pretty interesting, every day brings something new." He eyed her with an appreciative look, glad that this day had brought such an amazing beauty.

His heart almost skipped a beat at her answer, she thought she would never find anyone? Had she never caught a glance at her reflection in a waterhole? She was so beautiful! Perhaps the most beautiful lioness he had ever seen on his journey. Sure he had been with females, but none of them had ever made him feel like this.

"You'll find someone." He said with a nod of his head, eyes widening as he took note of her question. He had never really thought about it, life for him was just one big adventure, to settle down with a family would mean an end to that...or would it?

He frowned, rolling onto his stomach and staring down at his paws. "I guess...as long as it didn't mean the end of adventures then settling down would be okay." He murmered, peering up at her with his large hazel eyes. "Depends if I find a female I think is worth it." He grinned.

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
She smiled. "And what would a female who would be worth it have to be like?" She nodded and pulled herself up slightly. "Yeah, i would still like to travel though, many things dont nessacarily mean the end of journeys." She grinned. "It could even mean a whole new one altogether." She pulled herself up fully and stretched her paws out before sitting up in a straighter position. She still had that weird feeling in her stomach and she wondered if she was hungry...

Kimaria
He tilted his head thoughtfully at her question and smiled slightly, the corner's of his mouth twitching. What would his perfect lioness be like? This was yet somethign else he had never pondered over, until now he had assumed most females were all the same, but Maawio...she was different.

"She'd have to like travelling, and not be scared in the face of danger. I don't mind playing hero but it would be good to have a girl I could rely on not to fall or hurt herself in a situation." He'd never really gone for the whole 'maiden in distress' type. Yes a strong brave girl to match him would be very handy indeed.

"A whole new adventure." He repeated softly, glancing at her almost shyly. "Yes, you could be right there princess."

He sat up, rasping his tongue over one paw that he raised, then stood and shook himself again. "So when were you and these friends of yours planning to leave? Are you still planning to go with them or have things changed?"

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
She sighed. "I dont know... Maybe I should just leave by myself... Or if you are going somewhere..." She smiled. Then she realised, to be his kind of perfect girl, she would have to toughen up, no more whining Maawio or nervous Maawio, she would stand up for herself. She knew she could be strong, she was just to afraid before she met Amari...

Kimaria
"I'm impressed, not many would dare go out alone by themselves, especially when they have no experience." Wow she must be really brave! Perhaps...she could be the one for him!

"Well I must say it would be good to have some company, and you don't seem to be the type of lioness to slow me down." He paused, his eyes trailing down her slender, golden form. "If you really want to leave this place for good then yes, you can come." He couldn't believe he had just said that, after all his silent promises to travel alone and here he was inviting her along.

Well...it could be fun.

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
"I wouldnt mind going alone because thats how rogues get their experience." She flexed her claws and then smiled. "You have yourself a deal, and I quite like hunting, so I can do tonnes of that, like a lioness should." She nodded and her ears perked up at the sound a zebra call... "Speaking of which, are you hungry?" She asked, her head cocked to one side and her tail gently beating the ground.

Kimaria
His tail waved from side to side in admiration, she really was prepared to set out alone if that is what it took. He was glad that she had accepted his offer however, it would be good to walk beside a friend and to know you had someone close by to watch out for you and vice versa.

His ears also perked up at the sound of the zebra and he turned his head in the direction, interest rushing through him. "Yes, I am rather hungry." He agreed, he was rather lazy when it came to hunting, especially large prey which he still struggled with. He was glad that hunting was usually the woman's job.

He grinned, "lead the way mighty rogue huntress." He stepped aside to let her pass, bowing his head slightly.

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
Grinning she lowered her body against the dusty ground and crept into the grass, her agile limbs propelling her foward, closer to the zebra. She eyed a female, smallish in size yet with a fair amount of meat. She whispered to Amari. "Pick one, and then on my count we pounce. Okay?" She asked. She had been hunting a great deal of times before, and had her own tactics and ways of hunting. She pulled backwards and put most of her weight onto her back legs before uttering quitely. "1...2...3!"

With a growl she pounced upon the female zebra she had chosen, feeling the creature buckle as she landed upon its back. Maawio instantly dug her claws into the creatures stomach and bit at the creatures neck. The zebra bucked and tried to throw Maawio off, but Maawio suceeded in biting the zebras leg and giving it a terrible limp. As Maawio crashed to the floor the zebra tried to make its escape, but could any limp a few yards, so Maawio leapt after her prey again, and bit at its neck, feeling the jugular puncture as she ensured the kill. Her front paws were quite grazed, but she seemed quite unscathed, unusual for a hunt, especially against a larger zebra. She pulled the carcass towards her and turned to face Amari.

Kimaria
Amari's eyes widened as he lowered his golden-orange form into the grass, watching intently as she too lowered herself. He nodded, keeping his eyes focused on the small female that Maawio had taken keen interest in.

"Sure." He whispered, his voice husky. He heard her count and a nervous twitter started in his guts, he was so unpractised at this sort of thing and he was suddenly glad that it seemed she had experience.

He watched her pounce, hazel eyes wide as he watched her slender form soar through the air. For a moment he had the urge to help and it seemed she might be thrown clear but then suddenly she brought it down and finished it off with a deadly bite.

She turned to face him and he stood up, trotting over to her, buffeting her forehead with the flat of his skull gently. "You really weren't kidding, what a fine kill that was."

He regarded the meat and sat back on his haunches to regard it, "I bet in time you'll become one of the best hunters around." He felt a heavy weight of pride gather in his chest at this realisation. She truly was perfect.

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
Maawio smiled. "Why thankyou..." She blushed under her fur and lowered her maw to take a bit from her kill.

Taking a few more bites she swallowed and pushed the carcass towards Amari. "So do you have a favourite meat?" She asked. That would be important if she would do the hunting. But she didnt mind because she loved it.

Kimaria
Amari watched her a moment longer, glad how she reacted to his comments, it was nice to see such a modest, young lioness. At her question he tilted his head in thought, wrinkling his nose.

"I'm not really a fussy eater, any meat is good enough for this lion." He shook his mane and got up, sitting beside her as he tugged on the meat testingly. Then after a moment he tore some meat from the carcass, chewing on it thoughtfully, "thish good meatsh." He muttered with a mouthful.

He swallowed and grinned up at her sheepishly.

Artsywolven
Silently moving across the terrain was Hidalgo, strides long and fluent as he swept through the area. Blackened eyes keenly searched for others of his kind just as he had been for the majority of the day so far.

Taking a quick glance forwards once again, ears suddenly cocked forwards. Two.. lions? Hunting? Ah well. Despite the fact that he wasn't at all hungry, the light auburn and white painted male headed in the direction of the pair without hesitation. Tail flicked with satisfaction in finding others to socialize with, as he usually never got the chance.

"Hey there!" He called, a snug grin portraying across his muzzle.

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
She smiled and giggled a little, "I prefer zebra myself." She began. "But im not really that fussy." Her eyes glanced across to notice another lion. "Oh!" She said, looking toward the splattered looking lion.
"Who is that?"

Kimaria
"That's good, it's never an advantage to be a fussy eater." Hmm maybe he could make a move on her now? She looked relaxed and he felt more than happy.

He swallowed the last of the meat, shifting his weight closer to her and moving his head slightly as if to nuzzle at her. She looked even better up close like this -- hey! He almost toppled forwards on his snout as she suddenly moved, spotting something.

He huffed, got up on his paws and turned around slowly, blinking at the figure approaching. 'Oh no!' He thought, 'Not another male trying to move in on my girl.'

"Some lion trying to steal our food more like." He muttered, flopping down on his rump, an expression on his face that read something between a scowl and a pout.

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
She squinted into the distance and nudged Amari playfully. "You dont have to be social if you dont want." She said, sitting by his side whilst dragging the carcass into the bushes, where it could rot in piece. "We could at least learn of his name." She said, smiling polietly to Hidalgo and remaining reclined.

Kimaria
Amari huffed, keeping his head low, eyes never releasing the approaching male, who did he think he was? Approaching them without invitation, strutting over like he had some amazing presence. The muscles in his jaw twitched but he held back a snarl, he didn't want to upset Maawio, so for now he would keep his peace.

Artsywolven
Well.. the female looked.. somewhat happy.. but that other male.. well he looked downright miserable.. oh what fun! XD; A smirk planted itself firmly across his muzzle at this thought, and Hidalgos pace took a quicker hold. As he advanced, not a word was spoken to break the silence, only that of his paws swinging steadily and smoothly across the ground was all that was heard from him.

Tail swept the ground behind him as his gait slowed to a steady halt while nearing, stopping maybe two or three yards from the pair of lions, gaze casting glances to each before looking to the carcass in front of him. "Hum.. looks like someone's been busy.." He said casually, a brow arching while his eyes lifted once again to the two. It was plain to see the male wasn't enjoy his company, but the female looked more than willing. "Lovely morning, isn't it? I'm Hidalgo. Just wandering around looking for some company. Pleasure running into you..?" He stated, assuming one or both will fill in the blank with their names.

"Yeah lovely." He mumbled, standing up to meet this strange male. Why was he so cheerful? Well atleast he didn't seem to know Maawio.

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
She smiled again. "Hey, Im Maawio, nice to meet you." She said, looking to Amari and wondering if he would introduce himself too. He looked so miserable. She pawed at him gently with a sweet smile.

Artsywolven
Brows furrowed as Hidalgo glanced in the direction of Amari. The pair of them looked almost bipoloar, one being happy and the other being downright miserable. What the heck was he so glum about, anyway? Maybe he just had something against cute looking guys. >.>;

With a loud sigh and shake of his head, the male once again looked to Maawio with a quizzative glance. "Am I interrupting something..?" He suggested questionably, arching a brow with curiousity.

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
"Erm...Not really..." She said, looking to Amari with a vacant expression. "Is anything wrong?" She whispered to him, whilst giving Hidalgo an excuse-me-for-one-moment kind of smile.

Kimaria
Tufted tail curled tightly about one hind leg as he shifted a little closer to Maawio in a protective fashion, the beginnings of a growl building in his throat. Did this lion want to pick a fight with him?!

"Listen buddy, I don't know who you think you are but--" He paused as Maawio pawed at him and blinked, maw falling open a little. Then suddenly he snapped back to his old self, eyes darkening at this male's presence.

If this Hidalgo thought he was going to give his name away than this male was gravely mistaken. He didn't give his identity away to anyone unless he believed them worthy of it.

At Maawio's question he simply huffed, diverting his gaze a little, "no, what could possibly be wrong?"

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
Maawio gave a calm smile to Amari and then looked back to Hidalgo... "So....ermm....What brings you here?" She asked polietly, she was always curious about newcomers, especially ones she had never seen before, unlike Mahiri. She sighed to Amari "Nevermind..."

Artsywolven
Hidalgo was little pleased to see Amari all tensed up over.. nothing? Amusement was hilarious.. and this male was most definatly amusing. It was clear he erm.. had a thang for this female, though Hidalgo didn't care much. XD He had no intentions of having a mate at this point; he'd rather face life on his own and wander about leisurely at his own will. Again, a snug smirk was placed upon his muzzle, his mind still wondering what made Amari so upset.. if Hidalgo wanted to make a move on Maawio, he would've already done so. XD

"Hm?" Hidalgos attention was quickly snapped back to reality as he was questioned further of his presence. "Me? I was just wandering around.. there really isn't much else to do when you're on your own." He replied quickly, his eyes once again beginning to wander.

Kimaria
The orange-maned lion stood up on his paws, lips pulled back in a slight snarl, a warning sign that he had no patience for such smug behaviour. "Look cub, there's no room here for you and your ego. How about you go back to the hole you came out of?" His tail tightened around his hind leg and he raised his muzzle a little, eyes looking at Hidalgo fiercely.

No it definately did not take much to get him angry, especially when it involved a pretty lady.

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
"Oh, well staying situated in one pack is pretty boring too..." She said, her voice a little quiet. She could wait to leave and become a rogue, and visit the world outside the pridelands. She smiled, her eyes full of the prospect of new adventure.

Meepfur
Seitaru'kai 's sable-tufted tail snaked around intricately-designed paws as it swayed slowly to and fro, then finally ceased and coiled 'round her forelegs. She sat watching the zebra herd with what seemed to be rapt attention, her gaze fixed upon them all as they milled about, a living sea of stripes.

The young lioness' hunt had disturbed them, whirled them into chaos, but already they were calming. One was gone, but it meant a respite for the others, however brief. It pleased her, to see them settle back into order, however nervous it was.

It would be possible for the trio of juveniles to see her, should they pay enough attention to detail and catch a glimpse of purple, or perhaps a flash of sunlight on silver and amethyst adornments, amongst the white and black on the other side of the zebra herd.

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
Maawio stifled a laugh and looked to Amari in a sweet yet kind-of rolling-eyes way. She placed her paw on his arm gently to stop him from perhaps throwing himself at Hidalgo and preparing to skin him alive...

Artsywolven
A quiet laugh braced the lips of the male as the threats were thrust at him. How rather amusing this was..? He wanted no part of fighting.. and he wanted no part in being 'settled' with anyone, either. However, being how he was, Hidalgo would rather not admit this and much rathered getting up under Amari's skin with a sarcastic fashion. "Yeeeees.. Y'know I'm just going.. y'know, show up out of no where and.. make a move on your buddy here, pal.. yes, that's definatly my goal here.." He stated cooly, slowly slinking towards Maawio in a casual fashion.

However.. before he could go any further in the conversation.. something caught his eye.. purple? What the hell was purple flashing doing in an ocean of stripes, or so called the zebra herd..? And why hadn't he noticed that before..? A confused glance quickly took his expressions as he immediatly turned, walking steadily towards the herd of animals. "I'll.. be right back.." He called over his shoulder, a brow arching while his attention turned back towards the group of scampering mammals. "Who goes there..? Surely someone's there.. seeing as usually the color purple isn't found in a cloud of zebras.." He stated bluntly, eyes narrowing while he attempted to seek the creature the flashing originated from.

Kimaria
Amari paused and turned his head, glancing over to Maawio, she seemd quite content with this male's presence, could it be she was drawn in by his array of strange patterns that adorned his coat? Jealousy was a terrible thing.

He snapped back to attention as the male approached Maawio and he swung forwards, pushing his form between them to cut her off. "I'm warning you buddy, take one more --" He paused mid sentence, aware now that the male had turned his attention to something else. Oh no, please not another male!!

He huffed angrily and made to follow the male.

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
Maawio blinked and padded after Amari. Why was he so tense? She sighed, but all the same, made to follow him and Hidalgo. Maybe if she was with Amari she wouldnt be able to talk to any other males? She sighed again, still following them both.

Meepfur
Admittedly, she had paid the other juveniles (for hardly would she call them her fellow juveniles) little in the way of attention. The zebras had been the focus of her interest, and she hadn't concerned herself with the lions who had disturbed them.

The herd stirred and started as one of the small group drew closer, and it was this that drew her attention to the painted male, rather than his call and question. And such a rudely asked question, it was...

Great, black-feathered wings flared out, the white barring of them providing a strange contrast to the black-on-white of the zebras. She gave a light toss of her head, setting her shining jewelry to jingling faintly, pleasantly.

"Who presumes to call me out?" she demanded strongly, her voice underlaced with a feminine purr, but it held also its share of imperiousness.

Kimaria
Suddenly he caught sight of a flash of black and white, swirls of purple too which invaded his hazel eyes. He faltered in his step, eyes widening and jaw hanging open.

"Wow!" He breathed! "Is it just me or is there a total babe standing over there?" He almost drooled. With a swish of his tail he pushed past Hidalgo, trotting briskly up to the amazing lioness. He had never seen anything quite like her before. His heart did a flip.

"Forgive his rudeness, I believe there is something worng with him..not quite there in the head if you get my drift." He gave her his most charming smile, "you need company? I have a window open in my schedule," hmm hadn't he used that line just a while ago on Maawio? He shrugged, never mind...

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
Maawio sighed deeply. This was what she was afraid of, she was afraid that he would be like this. How stupidly typical was he? The same line even. Well she didnt need him! She could do fine as a rogue, by herself! She had a really weird feeling in her stomach, even though she had just eaten and she started to walk in the opposite direction. "I guess Ill see you later then." She said, directing her sapphire eyes away from the crowd.

Artsywolven
"Depends on who's asking?" Hidalgo called back in confusion. Never before had someone questioned who he was in such a.. a.. rude manner.. for sure it was a female, though, which would hopefully get Amari to draw off his 'attacking threats' on him.

A sigh was emitted, eyes still searching for the caller as he wandered out and around the zebras. If they stampeeded, they'd all be in the way. Better to not disturb or scare them, at this point, as they could.. pretty well run in any direction.

Reaching the other side of the herd, his gaze settled upon the watcher and, obviously, the origin of the purplely colors that had drawn his attention in such a.. quick manner. Again, he casually strode towards her. Would Amari and Maawio be following still?

Ears twitched, pulling up at the sound of the jingles.. ooooh.. those jewels.. they make noise.. o0o! He couldn't stop his advance now. Curiousity did always kill that cat.. he could certainly see why her demand sounded sort of.. rude.. supposing he'd be a little over the top also if he'd gotten.. /wings/ and /pretty jewelry/.. oooh what fine jewels..
[

Hidalgo glanced towards Amari, almost in disbeleif and/or disgust. How could he be so.. so.. blegh??! Maawio was still standing behind them.. and he just blew her off.. how typical.. and gross..

"Yea.. uhm.. you /have/ a girlfriend, remember?" He paused, arching a brow as he halted. The statement was of course meant for Amari. Why be so protective he went crazy over any pretty girl he saw? Ew..

Meepfur
One eyebrow arched loftily, and a small, amused smile played over her face. Were they so foolish, not to recognize their better, even as she sat before them? The purple of her fur, not painted or tattooed there, her fine jewelry, her striking wings?

No ordinary lion had such things, after all. She was a goddess, and they presumed to question her? To flirt with her, even? A light laugh spilled from her jaws, and her tail set to swaying again.

"I say again, who presumes to address me in such a fashion?"

Kimaria
The young male blinked, not noticing that Maawio had left or that Hidalgo was looking at him in such a manner.

He inclined his head, shooting an angry glare at the other male before glancing up again. "I apologise if I seemed rude. It's just that I've never sen a lioness like you before, not in all my travels have I seen such a beauty!"

He made a point to ignore Hidalgo, he didn't like that male and he did not want to argue with him, especially in front of such a beautiful femme. "I am blessed to have set eyes upon such a wonder as you."

Artsywolven
"Damn.. how immature can you get.." Hidalgo murmured, a clear and visible, disgusted expression lining his face. However with a loud sigh, he shook the 'ew' factor away and continued to move towards the two. Maawio had left, and in a sence he felt bad for her.. he couldn't blame her. Who wanted a guy who did that everytime he saw something pretty..

A brow arched as he halted a few feet away. "And I repeat, who's asking?" He questioned, his tail swinging once more behind his figure, lightly sweeping at the ground. It was clear she wasn't from around here. Not many such as herself just 'roam' around. Otherwise he probably would've seen someone else with wings beforehand.

Again, his eyes drifted to the jewels. "Mmm.. lovely jewels, you have.. might I ask where you've gotten them from..?" He questioned, slinking closer and.. of all nerve.. reaching a paw out only to.. poke at one? Oooh how it jingled.. XDDD

Meepfur
Another toss of her head, another airy laugh. Mortals were just so..amusing, sometimes. Perhaps it was simply the natural state of things for them, silly creatures.

Still, at least the one seemed to know splendor when he saw it, and the proper way to flatter it. Behind her, wings flexed, emphasizing their magnificence, and eyelashes fluttered alluringly. She was playing this (and him) for all it was worth, no doubt.

"And so you are...but who are you?" Head tilted, and amethysts flashed in the sun.

But the other, the painted one...he had no clue, did he? So very impolite, that one, so very..uncouth. "What, you wish for jewels of your own? You won't find them anywhere, no matter how hard you look, no matter how many lands you cross."

Kimaria
Oh she was amazing, she was beautiful, she was the most wonderful lioness that he had ever seen. His heart hammered violently against his ribs. He watched her flex her wings and drew a little closer as if in a trance.

If he heard Hidalgo he gave no sign of it, simply kept his eyes locked on the goddess before him.

"I am Amari." He inclined his head again, taking another sneak peek up at her, a smirk crossing his face at the words she spoke to the other male.

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
She looked deep into the river. Why did everything seem to go wrong for her? Maybe she should just stay here and get bossed around by her mother even more, maybe she should give Amari a piece of her mind, or maybe she should go... Now? Would that be the best thing to do? She lay down and sighed.

Artsywolven
"I know you can't get them anywhere.. I've been who knows how far and I havn't seen any like those or like you.. which makes me think you're not from anywhere around here.. obviously." A brow lifted at this, and Hidalgo again looked over the females figure. "Still though.. one would wonder where you came from if not here.." He stated slowly, narrowing his beady black eyes as his tail twisted and flicked in a random like fashion.

However just like that, his attention was directed to the wings. Wings.. on a lion.. yes, that's what he was seeing? Maybe a goddess..? He'd heard rumors of them before whilst traveling. The lovely physique.. impeccable jewelry.. flawless figure? Had to be. However he attempted to show he didn't recognize this.. and he definatly didn't want to act like Amari.. gross.. graveling when he didn't even have to.. yuck.

Meepfur
"Amari," she repeated breathily, violet gaze focused on the owner of the name. "A trade then, a name for a name; it is only fair, after all. You may call me Justice."

Her true name she chose to withold, save from those she deemed worthy of the honor. As yet, these two had to prove themselves anything other than a pair of silly, mortal males.

"You would wonder, wouldn't you?" Tail flicked about her forepaws, playing over purple tracings. "Perhaps I am from here, perhaps not. Perhaps elsewhere entirely, or nowhere at all, or even everywhere.."

Kimaria
"Justice..." He repeated with a tilt of his head, his mane flopped into his eyes and he once again returned his gaze to her. "A powerful name that is." He nodded, turning his head to watch Hidalgo. What was his problem? It surely wasn't their place to question why she was here, and where she got the pretty stones.

His tail wagged behind him, as he wrinkled his muzzle in the male's direction. "What's with all the questioning buddy, she's here, so are we. What else is there to it?" He huffed, and sat down on his rump, before turning to look at the winged lioness.

"I promise not all males are like him."

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
Maawio lowered herself into the water and began to swim, trying to focus on her swimming rather than any other thoughts in her head. She took a deep breath and dived under the water, her bright eyes reflecting any light from under the water, a few bubbles streaming from her mouth as she swam a little faster.

Artsywolven
"Ah.. so that's your name. And yours, too. Hm. Handy. I'll keep those in mind." Hidalgo stated snugly, a smirk lining his muzzle once more at gaining both names without giving his own, though he was positive Amari had already gained his from talking to Maawio. Where was Maawio? With a sigh, his eyes lingered, attempting to locate where the female had run off to.

At the comments that Justice gave, Hidalgos attention turned back to focus on her, however, giving him little time to look separately for the other female. "Ah.. but if you were from nowhere then you wouldn't be here, now would you. And if you from everywhere, there would be multiples of you, hm? So.. now we've cut it down to just from around here or not from around here." He said lightly, still the smirk hanging across his muzzle. However at another glance down towards Amari, another frown, or perhaps an amused frown, lined his facade. What a moronic male.. never making up his mind.. did he just play females for the fun of it?

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
Maawios paws were still grzzed from the hunt and were hurting a little. She pushed herself up out of the water and placed her front paws on the side, her eyes still downcast as she then placed her maw upon the slipperly rock.

Meepfur
"Names, more often than not, you will find suit their owners." She inclined her head in the paint's direction. "Perhaps you have no name, and that should tell us something about you, no?"

"Oh? But are there others like you..Amari?" Fangs flashed white in a fleeting smile, and that tail kept lashing, lashing..

Her smile turned quickly to a grin, wide and mocking. "Ah, but have you ever been nowhere? I have, you know."

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
But soon the water from the river and beneath her paws was joined by even more water. Water that dashed upon her paws and slid down her cheeks, water that dripped down her nose and lined her beautiful eyes... She slid back into the water, snuffling slightly. Why did she feel so WEIRD?

Kimaria
Amari snapped to attention, glad that she didn't seem to hate him as much as Hidalgo, flattery did get you somewhere after all.

He smiled back, his pearly teeth flashing brilliantly in the sun. "Yes a name is very important, they hold something important to their owner, it is their identity." He agreed, it was one of the reasons why he hardly ever shared his name with others. He preffered the anonomous life, but sometimes on occasions such as these, he could risk being known.

"Others like me?" He paused, "well I suppose there must be lions similar, but I tend to think everyone is unique in some way."

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
Maawio sighed again and pulled herself up and out of the water, her eyes determined now they had been washed.

Amari wanted someone strong and she wasnt exactly being strong.

"Amari!" She called strongly, padding over to him.
"I didnt think you needed to womanize when you have me!" She said, her voice rising a little, but showing strenght that she hoped he liked. She rolled her eyes. And looked to the godess. "Please excuse him miss, he's just typically... Amari."

Artsywolven
A brow quirked responsivly towards Justice. "Ah.. but I assure you that I do have a name." Sarcasm was hinted through his voice throughout this conversation, casually yet still there. "Even if I didn't have a name, what would that tell you, I wonder." He stated, tilting his head for a moment, shifting weight lightly, though he refused to sit down or gravel in the females presence.

"But I doubt you've been no where, either. If you have, mind telling what it's like?" He questioned, cocking his head while a brow arched inquizzitively. So much questioning and confusion. Was she playing mind games with him? Not that he minded, any. It was most definatly better than graveling and flattering and complimenting.

Maybe he should go find Maawio, though.. again, at this thought, his eyes and head began to wander, glancing around for the slightest hing of golden fur against the terrain. And.. sure enough.. there she was.. padding erm.. right up to them? Heh.. maybe she'd put Amari in his place, for once.

Meepfur
"True enough, dear Amari," she purred. "There are none who have quite the same hue of fur, or gleam of eye, as yourself or any other."

When the female came traipsing back from her 'swim,' Sei hid her amusement behind a nod and an understanding smile. "Typically male, even."

"You doubt me, do you?" Her eyes turned sharply on Hidalgo. "Is the word of Justice not good enough for you, my painted fool? Very well, then...I shall go nowhere, and you shall see that it is, indeed, possible." With a ringing laugh, the goddess simply...disappeared.

Kimaria
Amari jumped back, eyes widening in sheer surprise as the goddess simply...dissapeared into nothingness. There was no words he could say that described how he felt at that moment but he felt his heart hammering and knew that she was incredibly powerful. What would he have done to them if he had been in her paws?

He shook his head and turned to glance sheepishly at Maawio, pawing nervously at the ground. "Uhh...hey." He squeaked, ears drooping in shame. Now that the goddess was gone it seemed his trance had also broken.

Artsywolven
"Hm. But for all I know, you could've moved to the forest, or even to another deserted area. There's nothing to prove you can go no where." Hidalgo retorted, despite the goddess' sudden dissappearance. How amusing. She was playing mind games with him. "Peh.. fool.. I'm not the fool here, if anything. Maybe idiotic, but not a fool."

Without much thought, however, his attention drug itself suddenly to watch Amari and Maawio with amusment, a grin tugging at his muzzle.

Artsywolven
With a loud sigh, Hidalgos inky black eyes rolled. "Out of company again.. such a pity." He stated flatly, turning on heel and beginning to trot over in the direction of the lake, taking several glances towards the herd of zebras that continued to stir through the vast terrain. Paws swept at the ground lightly as the painted male gained a swift, but steady, pace. Water looked and sounded good right about now, seeing as, again, there was nothing better he could do with his time.

ZoeTheFairy
Maawio looked to Amari with what could be described as the evil eye. "Do you always chase after girls?" She said with a little sigh. "Maybe I'd be better off hanging out by myself?" She half-asked him, her large sapphire eyes looking to him a little sadly.

Kimaria
Amari shuffled back a step, suddenly aware of the cold gaze in Maawio's usually kindly eyes. That look did not suit her at all, she wasn't the kind of lioness to look so...so...frightening! He had almost forgotten just how terrifying females could be, until now.

His ears drooped in shame as he glanced at her sadly, this wasn't the first time he had been confronted by an angry lioness who had found out what he was like.

"Well I...uhhh." He trailed off, diverting his gaze slowly. "It's a weakness princess, I'm sorry." He moved to glance at her again, sad that he had probably lost his only chance with her.

"If you really want to go alone then....well I don't have the right to talk you out of it...but my offer still stands."

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
Maawio looked back up to him with her usual gleaming sapphire eyes and smiled a little. "Well, admitting to a weakness is something I look upon kindly..." She sighed. "Sorry, im just not used to this. And..." She reclined swiftly and looked up to him with a sheepish smile. "I'm sure I'd miss you If i went alone..." She said. She was still the nervous anxious little Maawio that she had always been, but she had a harder extirior (sp) and felt much stronger. Was it Amari that had showed her to be strong? Then in that case she must be thankful...

Kimaria
Score! She had forgiven him! He forced himself to sit quite still, hunkered down with his head low, but inside he wanted to dance. He waited for her to finish talking and then allowed himself to perk up a little bit, ears drawing forwards.

"Yeah I'm sorry too." He gave a sort of lionish shrug and stood up, "who knows princess, maybe I'll grow out of it with a good woman to keep me in line." He gave her a wink and one of his dazzling smiles.

"Plus, I'm allergic to feathers, it would have never worked out between me and that Justice babe anyway."

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
Maawio giggled slightly and pawed at him playfully. "Well at least he's humorous." She thought, rolling over and pulling herself up in time to save hgerself from falling down a paticularly steep rock. She laughed and pawed at Amaris swishing tail, she was in a very playful mood.

Kimaria
He whirled around to face her with surprising agility, arching down in a play-bow, his tail waggling in the air. "So the mighty rogue thinks she can beat me, huh?" He grinned, brow kinked in question. Yeah so he would probably be beated with ease, but hey he would never say no to a playful tumble with a female. "Let's see what you can do then gorgeous." He invited the challenge with a seductive purr to his voice.

`Zoe
Maawio smiled and tackled him playfully, pinning him down and growling slightly, her sapphire eyes growing wide. "Haha!" She shouted, gnawing on his ear slightly, well, managing to capture it with her pearly teeth.

Kimaria
His eyes widened, and suddenly he was being pushed over onto his side and pounced on by a pretty female. This was just like his dreams, but this time it was real!

He gave a playful growl and tried to squirm free, parting his jaws as she gnawed on one of his ears.

"Heeelp! Please someone save me from this fierce femme!" He shrieked in a playful tone, batting his tail against her side.

`Zoe
She grinned and swished her tail over to his maw gently, and pawed at his own tail, pinning it down and rolling over as she laughed even more.
She opened her maw and gave him a tiny soft lick on the tip of his nose.

Kimaria
He reached out with one paw, trying to tap at her gently and then the end of her tail brushed past his nose. For a moment he thought he was going to sneeze and he wrinkled his muzzle, eyes closing as he tried to supress the action. Then suddenly he felt something brush against his snout and his hazel eyes flew open.

Had she just...?!

He blinked and his jaw fell open as if on a hinge that had just fallen loose. He was - for once - completely speechless.

`Zoe
She looked down to him sheepishly and pawed at the ground, hoping that she hadnt grossed him out. He looked kinda shocked, but she giggled all the same, she had never done that before. Why had she? And damn, that funny feeling was there again. She sighed quietly, it was a happy sigh. Unlike that of before.

Kimaria
Wow, just wow! He couldn't believe she had been the one to make the first move! He must be more attractive than he had first thought. Before it was always him who made the first move, and he had liked it that way. Yet...Maawio, she was unlike any other girl he had ever met, so he guessed he shouldn't be surprised that she liked to do things a little...differently.

Finally he snapped his jaw shut, giving her a sheepish grin. "Well princess." He murmered, "I have to say that wasn't what I was expecting." He reached forwards, nuzzling at her teasingly then slipped out from under her paws, shaking the dust from his mane.

"So." He curved his head back to look at her, "when do we leave?"

`Zoe
She kept her head low, but looked up with the same sweet smile. She looked confused for a few moments. "I dont mind." She said. "It's up to you..." She continued, her large eyes glancing around in a slightly worried, yet cool would-be fashion.

Kimaria
"Well..." Amari trailed off, glancing around, the zebra herd seemed to be settling now and the sun was still reasonably high in the brilliant blue so they had plenty of time. He padded softly up to her and sat down. "It's up to you princess, do you have any unfinished buisness? People you need to say goodbye to? I'm sure these friends you were supposed to be travelling would like to know you hadn't just dissapeared." He nodded thoughtfully.

"I won't go off without you if that is what is holding you back. I'll wait wherever you tell me too."

`Zoe
She smiled. The feeling in her stomach seemed to double. "Yes, Sukutu, my adoptive brother..." She sighed. "He'd be so worried If I left without saying where i was heading, and goodbye..." She grinned. Im sure he'll be around here somewhere... She continued. "I bet we'll meet him later." She nodded.

Kimaria
Ahh yes, she had mentioned a brother before and he knew that she would probably want to see him again. He hated goodbyes, and he knew this would probably be one of the hardest parts of her journey into the great world. For him it wasn't too hard, but it did cause his heart to ache for a while afterwards.

Swinging his tail so it curled about his foreleg he nudged at her shoulder encouragingly. "Well then let's go track down this brother of yours." He shook his head again and yawned, revealing his pearly teeth once more.

`Zoe
Maawio nudged him back playfully. "Yes, find him we shall..." She said, wondering if he'd be disspointed, but perhaps she wouldnt be a burden upon him anymore. Maybe she would have just held the other group down?

Another thought struck her. "What about Mahiri?" She voiced out loud. He was a rogue too. She knew she'd meet him someday. Heck, maybe he'd still be chasing that rock?

Kimaria
He nodded, smiling a little as she seemed to cheer up a little, then tilted his head questioningly, what could she be thinking about?

Mahiri? Oh yes, he remembered him. Amar's snout wrinkled and he shrugged carelessly, "he's probably still off chasing that stupid rock. Do we really need to find him?" He tried not to sound so irritated about the white lion but was it his fault if he wanted Maawio all to himself?

`Zoe
"Probably..." She said, although her voice was a little squeaky. "I wonder where Sukutu has got to..." She half-asked herself. Her golden paws left imprints in the sandy ground as she wondered futher along the savannah, talking absent mindedly to Amari, and occasionally to herself.

Kimaria
Amari followed her, protecting her flank as they walked, swivelling his head around to watch for anything that could be either a danger or someone connected to Maawio.

The sun continued to beat down on them as they walked and he bounded over a crack in the ground, trotting up to walk more directly beside the golden female.

"Does this Suku lion have any favourite haunts?" He asked, trying his best to help her locate this adopted brother.

`Zoe
She watched over the land with her bright blue eyes, watching for the brown figure of Sukutu, and grateful for Amaris help. She occasionally looked to her side, greeting the orange male with a sweet smile as they trotted on. She paused in thought. "Hmmm. Not really, he's just a wanderer." She blinked the sun out of her eyes for a moment.

Kimaria
"Great" Amari muttered, his head drooping lower as he padded alongside her. "That means he could be anywhere, we could be looking for a week and not find him." He shook his mane again and paused, glancing around him and huffed. "Well where do you suggest we look first princess?"

PirateElf
Mizaku rested silently on a thick branch atop one of the few trees skattered over the open land. He was happily shaded in the sun, and his tail flickered back and forth as his eyes scanned the grassy plains. The tan-ish leopard was rather thirsty, it would be nice to get some water... but right now he had his heart set on lunch...
His eyes darted from side to side, and he pushed himself up off the branch. Mizaku's claws dug into the wood as he stretched, and then hopped down to a lower branch.

Kimaria
Amari paused suddenly, and glanced over in the direction of one of the nearest trees. He paused midstride and forgetting the question he had just asked Maawio he lowered himself a little and crept towards the location of the movement. Could he be mistaken?

What was it?

He blinked and then suddenly the creature he had seen came into focus, a dapple of spots running along it's pelt. Not many large cats could climb trees so it was quite obvious what this thing was. A leopard.

He raised his head and turning to check Maawio was okay, loped towards the creature, eyes trailing up the tree and settling upon the spotted cat.

PirateElf
Mizaku continued searching the grassland with his eyes, crouching down a bit on the new branch and sniffing the air. His ghostly eyes moved to the opposite side, and with a hint of luck, he had spotted something. A slow smile curled across his muzzle. The leopard crawled the edge of the branch to get a better look. ... Wait. It wasn't food... those were no preybeasts... They were... lions?
"Drat," he muttered under his breath, squinting his eyes at the unfamiliar cats. Mizaku stared at these creatures oddly, he was hoping they wouldn't see him... but it looked like it was too late for that. He grumbled to himsef and jumped from the branch to the ground, paws hitting the ground softly, and his tan body seemed to disappear into the grass.

Kimaria
Amari raised a paw and leaned backwards a little as the leopard leapt down from the tree and into the long grass. He didn't like it when a creature disapeared from view like that and silently cursed the creatures camoflague.

He growled loudly, lowering himself into the grass and striding forwards, being careful not to place his paws on a twig in fear of snapping it and alerting attention. His tail was held just above the ground and his eyes slowly moved from side to side, looking for perhaps a flash of fur or a glimmer of eyes in the grass.

Nothing.

Where had the spotty beast gotten too? He wasn't sure whether it was friendly and he didn't want to put himself or Maawio at risk. Luckily the leopard had seemed rather small and if he did turn nasty he was sure he could stop things without them getting too much out of hand.

`Zoe
Maawios ear prickled as she saw Amari go searching for the spotted creature. She cocked her head slightly as she crept foward towards Amari.

She knew he could handle things himself, for he was pretty strong, but she was always inquisitive about newcomers. "Hey" She whispered into Amaris ear, nudging his paw. She looked down into the grass and then back to Amari. "Where has it gone?" She asked, her large gleaming eyes searching for the tan leopard.

PirateElf
Mizaku, in fact, was not moving at all. He watched as one of the lions crept beneath the grass... now it seemed that instead of finding lunch, he was going to be it. The spotted cat kept himself low, remaing very still in the grass only about four yards away from the two lions.
Pride cats again?! Why are they always after me like this?! he thought to himself. Mizaku was more angry than scared, but he still kept silent. Not even his tail was moving.
... The tree... I'll have to get back up there... they can't climb... It's my only way out, the leopard spoke through the clouded thoughts in his mind, I'll have to make a break for it...

Kimaria
Amari turned his head in Maawio's direction, he hadn't been aware the female was that close, once again proving her skill has a huntress. She could move so silently that not even he had heard her come up behind him.

He glanced at her and shook his head, for he had no idea where the spotty beast had gone too. He turned his attention once again on the grass ahead of him, flexing his claws as he did so.

Either the leopard had already dashed away without him noticing or it was still somewhere close by. He continued forwards, crawling low across the ground.

`Zoe
Maawio followed his lead and crept along the grass, peeking out from several tufts, trying to locate the tan-creature. What if he was a threat? She had no doubts the Amari would then sort him out.

PirateElf
Mizaku took a deep breath, glaring at the two lions that seemed to be his age. He didn't think that one of the would be too much trouble... but two? The odds were not in his favor. His claws dug into the dirt, and he got ready to jump. He could easily make it to the tree in just 3 leaps, so that was his best bet... Unfortunately, right as he stepped back a little into a good position to jump, his paw landed on a dry twig. An easily heard "snap" rang dreadfully out.
The leopard knew he had to go fast, because they definately heard that. He pushed back against the ground with his hind legs, and bound into the air. He did this again twice and was just below the tree. Mizaku scrambled up the hard bark and then hopped up on to a high branch to stare down at them.

Kimaria
The snap of a twig rang through the young lion's senses and he pounced forwards as if a spring had been released beneath him. His paws however met with nothing as the little leopard bounded up into the tree and he glanced upwards at the creature in shock. It could move really fast.

"Hey! What are you doing up there?" Amari called, wrinkling his snout in annoyance, he wished he could get up there after him and drag him back to the ground.

"We weren't gonna hurt you or anything, no need to get all scared." Well he had tried to pounce on the creature, but only because he thought it was going to move to attack them. With a sigh he turned to Maawio knowing she was better at these sort of things.

`Zoe
Maawio smiled weakly. "Erm, hello up there?" She blinked her large orbs and used Amari to clamber onto her back paws and get a better view. "He's right, ya'know, we arent gonna hurt you..." She looked up to the tan creature, her eyes widening. "So whats your name?" She asked, now curious of this seemingly frightened creature.

PirateElf
Mizaku, now up where the lions could not hurt him, became drastically less afraid. He grunted at Amari, narrowing his eyes and staring at the "pride cat" with and irritated look.
"UP here? What are you doing DOWN there?" the leopard snorted, laying his head down on his paws and letting a slow grin etch itself across his face.
"Weren't going to hurt me...?" he repeated, snickering a bit to himself, "Sure, yeah... Nice try, pride cat..." The tip of his tail began to flick back and forth, annoyed at their presence.
"If you wanna eat me then your gonna have to come up 'ere and catch me first." When he saw Maawio though, his arrogance dwindled. He stared at her in silence, and then closed his eyes and answered flatly, "Mizaku."

`Zoe
Maawio closed her eyes and leapt onto the nearest branch, clinging on with her claws. It wasnt very high, which was good, because lions were really climbing creatures. She swallowed and tried not to wobble on the branch as she smiled to the leopard gently. "Im Maawio, and welcome to the pridelands..." She said, looking down to Amari as if to say, "See, he isnt that bad!"

Kimaria
Amari frowned and his eyes darkened, if there was one thing he hated most that was being called a "pride cat". He growled and took a step back, lips curling back to reveal his powerful teeth.

"Listen you spotty wimp!" He roared, "firstly, I am not part of a pride." He stressed the word with a growl and his eyes narrowed further. "Secondly I would not try to eat you, there's barely any meat on those bones, and thirdly --"

He paused as Maawio tried to clamber up the tree and took another step back, his tail swishing madly behind him. Why was it every creature he happened to meet had some sort of attitude problem?

PirateElf
Mizaku watched Maawio and flicked his ears back, then forwards again. His tail hung low, down over the branch, and he stared down at the yellow lion who actually seemed very friendly. He kept his head rested on his paws, and sighed.
"Pridelands? Gees... I wondered much further than I thought..." the leopard looked a bit sad for a moment, and then he reverted his view to the female cat, "... So... you... really don't want to eat me then?"
But when he heard Amari his mood instantly changed. Mizaku jumped up on the branch and let out a low, growling hiss that echoed from his throat. His claws scraped against the bark and he bared his large teeth at this lion as well.
The leopards eyes darted to Maawio and he lowered his head between his shoulders, so that she knew not to come any closer. He was now sure that they were trying to trick him...

Lightning Shadow X
A large brown adolescent walked through the Pride Lands, his large paws stalking the soft ground as his pale eyes looked around worried, he hadn't seen Maawio and the scent of male lions was in the air.
He finaly leapt ontop of a rock nearby, not seeing the small group that talked to the young spotted cat before letting his head lull back as he roared out his adopted sisters name loudly.
"MAAWIO!!!!"
He then looked arouned, his ears twitching and swivveling to see if they could hear any sound of her voice, dammit, she better not have left to be a rogue now.
"MAAWIO!!!!"

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
Clambering down the tree Maawio felt a sudden burst of fear explode in her chest. She padded swiftly past Amari and whispered... "Its him, I have to say goodbye..." She padded more slowly, her large sapphire eyes locating the brown figure as she felt her heart thump against her chest in a sense of adventure... But she loved this wild feeling, loved it. And she had to seize her chance.

Maawio nuzzled her adopted brother with a weak smile and took a deep breath after she had greeted him. "Sukutu... I have to go..." She said, her eyes downcast. "Im going to leave the pridelands... With Amari..." She said, tossing her golden head in Amaris direction. As she looked over to him the feeling in her stomach doubled. It was so strange...

Lightning Shadow X
The adolescent's eyes widened and he looked at her, he was about to say something against this but he best not to make her more upset then he knew she was, he then gave a heavy sigh before nuzzling his little 'sister' and holding her close.
"You be careful now ok..." He said softly against one of her spotted ears, giving her a sort of fond lick across the head.
"And don't worry...if your mom goes belistic I'll tell her you went a whole 'nother direction..."
He then gave her a wink, showing he could be trusted before he looked over at the juvenille and then walked over to him slowly.

`Zoe
She smiled sadly, her deep blue eyes filling with tears... "Thanks Sukutu. You are the closest thing I have ever had to a brother..." She said, whilst padding over to Amari also, a whole new sense of adventure in her stomach, along with that funny sickly feeling too.

Glancing up to Sukutu with admiration she hoped that Amari wouldnt try and pick a fight with him. He was her adopted brother after all, and she didnt want Amari to pick fights with everyone he came across, but she found him lovable after all. She reclined near Amaris side and licked a paw thoughtfully, trying to blink her happy, yet sad, tears away.

Lightning Shadow X
Sukutu smiled at his little sisters words before holding his head up high and his eye's going half lidded in an atempt to look suave as he always did, he made this a hobby to look like some cool guy around younger lions.
His pale eyes however looked sternly at the young male before sitting down infront of him and placing a paw on his shoulder.
"You look after her...and make sure nothing bad happens to her..."
His eyes gave a slight 'or else' warning deep within them before he put his paw away from the young male and looked at him for his reaction.

Kimaria
Amari growled louder, taking another step back, far too aware that if the spotty beast wanted to he could jump right down on him. That was one advantage of being small and agile, as well as capable of reaching high places.

"Listen buddy, I don't want no trouble here, I thought you were going to attack us, but now it's quite clear that you aren't then there isn't a problem." He let out a deep breath and turned his head as Maawio gave up with climbing the tree.

He followed her gaze only to see a brown lion approaching them, he began to growl when suddenly he realised this must be the brother that she had been talking about. Forcing himself to relax, and turning his back on the leopard he padded slowly over, catching only the snippets of the conversation. He sat beside 'his' girl and gazed at the lion in front of him.

At his statement towards him he shook his mane, and locked eyes with him, he was about to answer when he got up and began to pad away. Something stirred inside of him and he roared after him, "of course I won't, I'll make sure of it!" He sighed and let his body relax a little, "I'll do my best, I promise." He whispered, knowing that this lion wasn't a threat, he just cared for Maawio too.

`Zoe
Maawio smiled sadly, feeling a tear drip down her own face. She nuzzled Amari, but tried deperately not to get his fur wet... "Thanks Sukutu...Thanks Amari..." She said, gazing back to pride rock for what she knew could be the last time. "Goodbye Mahiri..." She whispered, giggling as she wondered if he was still chasing the rock.

Lethrossen
Asikari slipped through the grass, grayish brown fur slightly ruffled. He ignored the longer, chocolatey mane that fell into his matching eyes. He wasn't interested in seeing where he was going anyways. Why was this place so dull? He growled, ears flicking as he faintly picked up sounds of others.

He raised his head, trying to see, and he spotted a larger male, one he'd met breifly. He wrinkled his nose, he hadn't really hit it off with the other. He also saw two others, and a leopard in a tree.. He grinned slightly.

This looked good as any other place to start a little.. fun. He kept stalking toward the small group, now only composed of three others.

Kimaria
The young lion shifted his rusty coloured form closer to Maawio's own, resting his head against the top of hers for a moment. "You know..." He whispered, his own eyes watching the fading figure of that Suku lion, "Goodbye is never forever princess." He moved away a little to glance down at her face. "You can always come back and see them again, and wherever you go your friends and family will always be with you, in your memories and your heart."

What was this?! Amari being sensitive? Well he never thought he'd see the day when that would happen.

He of course, was unaware of the approaching male.

PirateElf
Mizaku listened to Amari, though still not completely trusting him. He was less tense now, and finally jumped to a low branch, and then off the tree to the ground. His tail waved against the ground as he looked at the lions catiously. He tried to smile... but... was very nervous. First too juveniles, like him, and then a larger one? And adolescent? Three lions. One leopard. It was still a bit "iffy" to him...

`Zoe
"I just hope I dont run into my mother before we leave..." She said. "But shes never around anway..." Maawio smiled. "Thanks Amari, I feel much better now... Its nice to have company, for a change." She added.

She spotted a figure in the grass. "Oh great..." She thought. "Another male. For Amari to fight with..." She supressed a giggle and turned her head to the approaching male. "Who is that?" She asked.

Lethrossen
Asikari stalked on, low to the ground. He didn't mind if he'd been spotted, he just liked stalking. He thought it was one of the few things in life that was fun. He was getting rather close, eyed them curiously and slowed, sitting, with a mischivous grin set on his mug, and a twinkle in his eyes one couldn't miss. Yes, definetly a trouble maker.

"Allo." He called from where he was, still grinning like a fool.

Kimaria
"You're welcome babe." He beamed at the golden lion, yawning and closing his eyes briefly. At Maawio's exclamation he tensed up instantly, turning to her once more.

"Wha?" Amari blinked, craning his head back to follow her line of gaze, "what are you talking ab--" Almost instantly his eyes narrowed and his muzzle wrinkled in the beginnings of a snarl. Another male! How dare he try to sneak up on them!

He was on his paws within a matter of seconds, whirling around to face this new foe. He seemed to be attracting morons today, and this one seemed exceptionally stupid.

He flexed his claws and took a step forwards, "explain yourself." He snapped, ears flattening back and teeth bared, "why do you sneak up on us beast?" A growl rippled from his throat as he stepped closer still, makign sure he was in front of Maawio. He had a promise to keep.

`Zoe
Maawio smiled to herself. Sukutu would be proud of Amari. She eyes the new male curiously. At least she would never run into trouble when she was with Amari. Sapphire eyes widening she glanced down tp the reclined creature with a brow raised.

Lethrossen
Asi kept grinning for all he was worth, even when the other male, who looked to be about his age, decided to take offense.

"Sneak up on ya', did I? eh?" He let out a chuckle, boy he was rude, ignoring the other's question. "I says that you ought ta pay more attention around ya', mm?" He laughed again, pulling himself back to his limbs. He even made a joke on top of being rude, and an insulting joke at that.

He glanced to the female, eyeing her a moment, then looked to the other animal, the leopard. "Sorry, I didn't mean ta, if that's what you do be thinking." He grinned.

He took a few steps foward, graceful in a way. "A beast like any other. I do be Asikari, stop goin' 'bout it as you do be doing and perhaps you can introduve yourself. Eh?" Both brows raised and he grinned, not even thinking this other might attack him for being a moron.

PirateElf
ANOTHER Lion?! How many of them were out here just wandering around?! He back up beside the tree, ears flat against his skull in shock. After glancing across all the lions, it really didn't seem like he should be there... He didn't belong... But then, he didn't belong anywhere.
Mizaku sighed, letting his eyes follow up the tree's trunk and back into it's top branches. He wasn't interested in going back up, so he stepped over quietly behind Maawio; the only lion that seemed to be... "nice". He hadn't really seen or talked to anyone in so long. Maybe he could just... start a conversation? But they were all lions, and he was leopard... would they even mind him? Only one way to find out.
"... So... how are... you?"

`Zoe
Maawio blinked in a suprised fashion to the leopard but smiled all the same, blinking her deep blue eyes. "Oh, Im fine thanks..." She said, pawing at the ground absentmindedly whilst keeping her eye on Mari and the new male, she could feel the tension already. "How about you?" She asked, returning the question.

Kimaria
Why that little-!? Amari lowered his head and growled again taking yet another step forward and then stopped. This lion wasn't a threat at all, he was too much of a fool and he probably didn't know how to use those teeth of his. Yet his rude comments and sarcastic tones raged through the young rusty-coloured lion and drove him almost mental with rage. Someone needed to beat some sense into him!

Could he do that?...well...no. Amari had no patience and yet even in his temper he realised that a lion blinded by rage could never win a battle, they tended to make mistakes - and these were often fatal. He took a small step backwards and huffed.

"You are not worthy of my name." He muttered, stooping over to lie in the shade of the tree, the long grass completely consumed him and he lay, listening and waiting. If he lay even one claw on Maawio there would be trouble!

PirateElf
Mizaku was slightly surprised and... happy... that she answered. He smiled and sat down beside her, swishing his tail back and forth and flicking his ears nervously. The leopards blank gray eyes moved across Maawio's blue ones, and eh shrugged.
"Well... Not that great actually," he said with a raspy sigh. His expression dulled, and his view moved to the ground.

Lethrossen
He stared at the male again, and let a growl of his own escape, smile dropping. What a tightass. He laughed out loud at the thought though, tail flicking.

"Aye, I see well then. Maybe I'll find some less uptight lions.." He waggled his brows again. "Insteada uptight jerks, eh?" Charming, wasn't he? He kept padding, slowly slipping back into that stalking position, tail flicked in annoyance.

He brushed past the three, heading off.

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
Maawio hummed as she re-entered the pridelands. Her mind was full of the prospect of new journey, her wide sapphire eyes gazing over the pridelands as they always did, she sighed happily as she bounded across the rocks and dusty ground to search for Amari, with a grin upon her face.

Kimaria
Amari had dropped of to sleep beside the tree that he had laid down beside when that smug, idiotic male had tried to sneak up on them. In fact he was still sleeping, his rusty form completely motionless except from the light rise and fall of his sides.

He was sprawled out upon the grass on his side, one paw draped across his face to shelter his eyes from the sun, which was slowly dipping in the sky causing the blue above to be blemished with an orange hue.

His ear twitched at the distant sound but other than that he remained perfectly unaware of his surroundings.

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
Maawio saw the sleeping figure and smiled to herself. The orange males sides were raising and falling in a peaceful motion. She supressed a laugh, Amari was silent, it was a very rare occasion.

Creeping closer to him she began to hum a small tune that she had learned from a passing wild dog. Where was Mataka these days anyway? She had no doubt that she was safe, for she could fend for herself, a playful little thing she was.

Lowering her maw she whispered straight into Amaris ear, tickling it with a "Helllooooooo" and a slight giggle that would travel straight into his eardrums. She pawed at his tail playfully. "Rise and shine!"

Kimaria
Amari's paw slipped from his snout, landing on the ground beside his head as he shifted in his sleep. His mane was extremely ruffled, and a few blades of dried grass had caught in it. He exhaled loudly, and the muscles in his jaw twitched in his dream-like state.

Then suddenly he was jolted from his sleep and he stumbled onto his feet, glancing about in an almost drunken state as he wildly glanced around him. Then finally his deep hazel eyes settled upon Maawio's golden form and he sighed, flopping down on his rump to stare at her.

"Thanks for that." He muttered with a fatigued yawn.

ArgentumAuroraBorealis

Smiling with her wide eyes she slipped a little closer to give him a quick nuzzle. "Sorry about that, but you have to wake up sometime." She giggled.

Wondering a little behind Amari she looked over the rock to the dusty below of the savannah. "I wonder if we are gonna meet anyone esle today?" She murmured. "We do seem to be meeting many new people, hopefully friends, but uh..." She trailed off, looking to Amari and recalling his protective behaviour. But overall she was glad that he was keeping his promise to Sukutu.

Kimaria
The young male yawned again, his eyes remaining half closed as he tried to wake himself up a little bit. His body seemed to be telling him that he needed a few more hours sleep, but he doubted he would get any with the energetic female around.

"Hmm." He grunted, raising his head to gaze over the long grass, "Where'd that jerk lion go anyway?" He didn't remember his name but he was glad he was gone, who did he think he was, sneaking up on him?! He growled quietly and got up, shaking his body vigorously in an attempt to wake up.

"Hopefully they'll all be sleeping so we can get some...aloooone time." He shifted over to her, brushing against her side as he stood up and sharpened his claws on the tree.

"So where to next Sunshine?"

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
Peeking out from a rock she eyed the male curiously. "I dont mind," She said, hesitant to add that she didnt know either. "Do you have nay unfinished business?" She asked, remembering her goodbye to Sukutu, and vowing that she would visit the Pride Lands when she was older, although she had to avoid her mother, old scars could run deep.

Kimaria
Amari couldn't help but look a little startled at her question, what could she mean by that? Of course he didn't have any business to attend to, no one cared enough about him to notice if he went missing.

His eyes darkened, and he got up loping past her and back through the long grass. "Come on, let's get out of here." He muttered, head low and mane hanging loosely in his eyes.

He didn't care or know where they might be heading, but anywhere had to be better than here. This place was too populated and everywhere he turned there seemed to be some creature jumping out from the bushes. He sighed, slowing his pace a little to turn his head back to glance at the young lioness. "I'm done with this place."

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
Maawio smiled, but a small flare of worry sparked up inside her. "What is my mother found out i was going to leave?" She thought, but she had total faith in Sukutu, who was the only one who knew about her plans, and Amari himself, who didnt personally know Wingu, or even know her name for that matter.

She backed up a little and took a huge look at Pride Rock before she turned to exit. She promised herself that although she wanted to get away from here she would visit... She would. She sighed happily, and trudged to Amaris side, her sense of adventure growing even more...

Kimaria
Amari smiled softly, he could tell what was going through her mind, she was nervous, excited but also sad to see her old home go. It had been the same for him too, and part of his heart still ached to return to his homeland, alas that could never happen.

He leapt up onto a rock and glanced around, his eyes focusing on the river, a sliver of glimmering gold as it reflected the sun.

"We'll cross the river at the shallows and go from there, okay Sunshine?" He asked, before stooping low and leaping once more into the grass, padding softly against the warm ground towards the river.

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
Maawio nodded, her smile widening as she saw a different kind of emotion flicker in Amari eyes for a moment, but before she could focus her attention on it, it was gone, so instead she turned her eyes to the river ahead of them, and the land that they were going to travel across.

"Erm, okay." She agreed, taking a step foward, taking a step into freedom, taking a step into a new life and away from her mother.

Maawio was now a rogue.

Kimaria
"What's wrong, not scared of a little water are you?" He teased lightly, nudging her shoulder with a paw. It was a known fact that lions did not usually take a great liking to water, but if they were just walking through it then it wouldn't be so bad. Swimming however, was a totally different experience and something Amari didn't enjoy at all.

He bounced forwards lightly on his paws, turning to face her and giving a playful roar before loping towards the water, young muscles propelling him forwards with ease.

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
She smiled. She was told it was unusual for lions to like water as she did, although she had a skill for swimming and would often go for a dip on a very hot day.

She remembered her last swim and replied with a simple comment. "Im more of a mer-lion than you would think..." She grinned, "Why, are you not a water dweller?" She said, pretending to speak like a pirate or one that permenantly resided in water.

Kimaria
Well he had not expected that kind of an answer at all, she liked water? She liked the feeling of that cold stuff wetting her fur and making it seem twice as heavy? His brow furrowed as he paused mid-step, one paw raised slightly off the ground.

"Water is...cold." He muttered, continuing to walk towards the water, his head held high so he could see around him.

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
She grinned again, her white teeth flashing in the sun. It was very obvious that Amari didnt like water at all, but she knew that he would rather contain that fact that share it.

"So are you just going to jump across the river? I hope its not too wide." She peered foward observantly. "So where do we go after that?"

Kimaria
((hewwo KKC! heart ))

Amari paced the edge of the river, his tail swaying behind his rather bulky form as he surveyed the water with an intent look on his face. He had no intention of swimming but by the colour of the water he could tell it was rather deep, and would probably come up to his shoulders...which meant he would be totally wet again.

There were a few large rocks that ran out as far as the center, but then there were no more to get him to the other side dry. So either he got completely soaked by just dashing through the water or took the dry path across the pebbles and leapt as far as he could to the bank. That way he would probably only catch the shallows and get wet paws.

He turned to face his companion and called her over, "I think I'm going to use those rocks to help me get across. How about you?" He asked cautiously, not sure whether she had a desire to try swimming or not.

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
Maawios large eyes focused on the water, she could tell Amari wasnt that fond of water and she didnt know whether she should exaggerate the fact that she liked water any more, in case it out him off her or something.

She glanced to the rocks, tracing the same route as Amari had done and pinpointing her landing spot. She didnt like jumping very much, ever since her fall down the cliff. She knew the lake would be somewhat deep but she didnt want to release her fear of heights and jumping.

She pawed her way along the edge of the river. "I think Ill swim..." She said quietly.

Kimaria
Amari grinned, a glimmer of teeth appearing as he did so, and nodded slowly. "Fine by me Sunshine, but if you start drowning then I don't know if I'm gonna be able to help." He teased, taking his first leap onto the smooth rock. He wobbled but quickly gained his balance, turning his head back to glance at the young lioness.

His eyes widened a little as he caught a glance of the water sloshing past him, hitting against the rock with a steady motion. He cleared his throat and snapped his head up, determined not to look down anymore. It would just distract him and he didn't need that. Not now.

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
Maawio laughed and slid into the water, it was so very cooling on a day like this... She sighed and used her limbs to propell her throught the water, which just about reached her chin and sloshed against her back. It was quite smooth so she had no trouble navigating halfway, she looked to Amari, she still couldnt figure out why he didnt like water, it was very refreshing. She yawned, catching a little of the water in her mouth.

Kimaria
Amari leapt gracefully upon the second rock, it's textured surface allowing him to get a good grip on it with his claws. He paused to catch his breath once more before glancing at Maawio. She seemed to be having a great time in that cold water.

He shivered at the thought and then hopped onto the third rock, this time however he misjudged the distance and one hind leg got wet in the process.

He let out a terrified yelp, scrambling to the top of the rock and glancing at the water fearfully. He had already been in the water once that day and he didn't want to get wet again, not now that he was dry.

Seth Napthan
The golden lioness wandered in what ever direction her legs took her. She had no real place to go and the encounter with the male lion the day before had confused her a little. She did however look for water that was something she did need and want.

As she walked the smell of fresh water hut her and she smiled but with it came the scent of other lions. Carefully and cautiously she approached the water and hid as well as she could while watching the other two lions. One a male and one a female.

`Zoe
Maawio saw him stumble and her eyes widened as she pushed herself foward even more, her limbs beginning to get weary against the rushing water, althought she scrambled onto the sandy bank, shaking her fur and splashing small drops of water over Amaris nose in the process.

She smiled. "Sorry!"

Kimaria
Amari gave a squeak, and jumped back away from her, shaking his head vigorously. "You did that on purpose." He backed up further away from her, "don't you dare come near me till you are dry!" He warned with a wry grin.

He turned away from her to glance across the grassy land, his eyes picking out movement in the grass. What was that? He fell silent, trying to hush Maawio with a silent signal. "There's something over there." He whispered, taking a small step towards it.

`Zoe
Maawio blinked at the figure and let out a "Hmm..." Of thought. She edged nearer to Amari and peered around the rock, it was a female. She rolled her eyes, god knows what Amari would be like with her...

Seth Napthan
The lioness jumped back away from the two lions. Her body tensed as she watched them. She stayed silent not speaking a word as she watched them carefully.

Kimaria
Amari relaxed and straightened himself, eyes suddenly sparkling with the familiar mischievious glint. A female, and a very, very pretty one at that, her fur was certainly a beautiful colour and she had very nice eyes. Her figure showed that she was a more matured lady, but an elegant one at that.

He took a small pace toward her. "Sorry miss, you startled us but we mean you no harm." He gave her a warm smile.

Seth Napthan
She looked at the male and relaxed a little still not trusting him nor the female. "Its ok. I just wanted a drink." She looked at the female and guessed that the two in front of her were very close in some way or another that she wasn't quite sure about. "Who are you two anyway?"

Kimaria
He side stepped from her path and gestured towards the river with a wave of his paw as an indication for her to drink. "I'm Amari, brave rogue lion." He announced proudly, puffing out his chest and canting his head higher.

He then nodded in the direction of his companion, "This is Maawio, my new travelling companion." He blinked and shuffled towards the river. "Would you like me to accompany you to the water? You never know what sort of danger could be around, and I would be pleased to offer myself up to be your personal body guard for as long as it is possible." He gave her a dazzling smile.

Seth Napthan
She smiled at him "I am Bakhti and I guess you can accompany me if you want." She didn't need it but he seemed eager to come so she saw no reason not to let him. She steadily walked over to the water and stepped into it letting the cold water refresh her paws before lowering her head to drink. She lapped up the water keeping at least one eye fixed on the lions near by she wasn't a ver trusting creature.

Kimaria
"Bakhti." He spoke her name slowly, repeating it as if processing it to memory. "A beautiful name for a beautiful lioness. I must say seeing such a graceful female in these parts is rare indeed." He padded beside her. sitting beside the water and watching her drink, aware that she still seemed a little nervous.

Did she really believe he would hurt such a precious and delicate lady? Never!

He stretched in the sun, his fur glowing a rich and deep orangey-brown as he yawned, teeth flashing brilliant in the sun. "So, where are you headed?" He asked, breaking the peace that had settled over them.

Seth Napthan
She had finally mnaged to relax he was trying to flirt with her, typical male. She smiled at him and rolled her eyes as he tried to flatter her. After she finished drinking she climbed back onto the bank and then jumped on a rock where she laid down letting her tail curl around her body. "I am not heading anywhere, I am a rouge as you and travel alone." She spoke quietly as she rested her head on her fore paws.

Kimaria
His tail twitched from where he sat and he watched as she leapt up onto a rock, her agile form glowing in the rays of the large setting sun. He couldn't help but feel a little sad at her reply, had he always sounded like that when people asked him similar questions?

He reared up, placing forepaws on the rock she was lying on, "hey princess, you really like being alone?" He asked, head tilting quizzically, "Wouldn't you prefer the companionship of a male?" He drew forth his ears, eyes catching the sun and glistening like polished jewels.

Seth Napthan
She didn't move nor did she look at him but her answer was simple, "Some like to be alone some have no choice." She then looked over at the other female, "You are with her. I am alone." She didn't say anything more. She didn't like to be alone but then who honestly did. She had no choice in the matter.

Kimaria
(( XD hell yeah! heart ))

"Some like to be alone huh?" His brow furrowed and he moved closer to her, eyes locking with hers if only for a brief moment. "So which category do you fall into Miss Bakhti?" He purred, shifting his gaze to Maawio for a mere second.

"There's no rule that says lions can only travel in pairs, ya' know." He sighed and drew back a little, all four paws landing on the sun-warmed ground once more. "It's your decision of course."

Seth Napthan
She didn't answer the first question she wanted to seem stronger then she actually was, "I dont think her over there would be to happy with my company." She looked at his eyes for a brief moment they were beautiful she would give him that. She closed her eyes to stop the light reaching them, her blue/grey eyes always shone in the sun making them sparle and shine. She didn't stay like that for long as she stood up stretched and sat back down. "Why would you want the company of me though?"

Kimaria
"Who Maawio?" He shrugged, "She's a real softy, she won't mind at all, she's too kind to ever let someone travel by themselves if they really don't want to."

He shook his mane once, blinking his eyes as he watched her, atleast she seemed more relaxed now, and the deeper shade of her fur was absoloutely wonderful in the sun. Her eyes too had an amazing sheen to them and he found them almost as enchanting as Maawio's. Not that he would ever say that. The little gold femme would always remain his favourite, might as well keep her alert by flirting with others though. He liked to see her come alive with annoyance at his behaviour.

"Why would I want your company?" He wrinkled his snout and huffed, "well you seem nice enough, you're extremely attractive and you seem to be wise in the ways of travelling."

Seth Napthan
She watched him curiously and then yawned stretching again before jumping down into the cold water. She looked at him again and then back at the lioness. SHe lapped up some more water and then turned back to him, "Ok I may travel with you but dont be surprised if I wander off and meet up with you at random places."

Kimaria
He tilted his head upwards and grinned, sharp, white teeth revealed as he did so. Score! He just hoped Maawio wouldn't mind, but atleast this tmie he hadn't just been thinking about this lioness' looks, he had also considered her value at tracking and navigating. Well he assumed that she was good at those anyway, and if not then atleast she would be some company for Maawio. That way he wouldn't have to feel guilty about chasing away all the males.

"I'm glad you have accepted, and of course, we wouldn't want you to stay against your will. That would be taking your freedom and none of us want that. Isn't freedom something all rogues strive for?"

He sighed, "it's a small world anyway, so even if we do part along the line we are sure to meet up again."

Seth Napthan
She nodded her head and leaped back ontop of the rock where she laid down again. She was still cautious of the male and the female she hadn't even spoken to yet. She was older then he was and wasn't going to get pushed around by him especially if he tried anything. Being a rouge maybe fun for a while but she did want to settle down in a pride of some sort.

`Zoe
Maawio crept up to Amaris side, her brilliantly golden fur shimmering in the afternoon sun as she reclined next to a protruding rock. She yawned to reveal her pearly pointed teeth and her chocolate tufted tail gave a lazy kind a sway. She smiled, Amari was so typical, yet pretty lovable she would have to admit.

She cleared her throat and looked to this new lioness with her wide blue occuli scanning her features. At least Amari wasnt completely dazed by this female. Yes she had a nice pelt, a little darker than her own, and her grey-blue eyes were a very nice shade, but she was older than Amari, and Maawio knew the female had better thing to do than find a toyboy.

Her ears perked up slightly she nodded. "You do seem wise in your skills of travelling and I would hate to leave you alone." She continued with a smile. "As long as you dont mind Amari you'll be fine." She laughed.

Seth Napthan
She looked down at the little lioness and smiled, "Yeah, He seems a bit of a flirt good luck with him!" She yawned and stood up leaping off the rock she walked over to a near by tree and clawed at it, stretching her legs and flexing her muscles she then turned to the young lioness. "You known him long?"

`Zoe
She laughed and stretched out her own paws, the white tipped bits were still wet fomr her breif swim. She nodded. "Well, kinda, but we know each other pretty well..." She yawned again, turning her head away as if she was trying to be polite. This lioness seemed very well-mannered and nice, so she was quite glad that she would accompanie (sp?) them on this trip.

Seth Napthan
She smiled again at the lioness, "Maawio isn't it?" She watched the little lioness carefully admiring her own individual beauty. She seemed nice maybe they would get on well. She looked around longing to see more lions before turning back to Maawio, "You in a pride? Or are you a rouge as well?"

`Zoe
She thought that she would get on pretty well with the lioness. She turned to face her from looking at the sky. "Well... I used to be in a pride..." She said, turning her eyes down a little, "I also used to be extremely shy but i've got over that..." She nodded, well, it was almost true anyway. She could still get a little shy at times.

Seth Napthan
She looked over at her curiously, "You left a pride?" She couldn't quite understand why anyone would do that. She longed to be in the security of the pride though she loved to wander where and when she wished.

`Zoe
"Yeah..." She said, still a little nervous about the subject. "I was sick of getting pressurised into doing everthing, my mother wanted to bethroth me to Simba." She paused, during which she sighed. "I just wanted to be free, and I was planning to leave, but then I met Amari..." Her stomach did a back-flip...

Lightning Shadow X
The outskirts of the Pridelands seemed very quiet, a brown figure lay on the back of a huge moving elephant as it walked around, the huge bull rolling one eye as he spoke to the depressed adolescent.
"C'mon...cheer up, Maawio'll come back you'll see..."
Sukutu looked at the elephant before giving a heavy sigh and just continuing to take a mock nap on his beheamoth friends back.
Meanwhile the elephant just watched crossly as the annoying wildabeest next to him continued to try and cheer up the lion with his outrageous singing, well at least his stink was better then his voice.
They continued walking, unaware of the group of younger lions they where walking towards.

Seth Napthan
She didn't pressure her any more on the subject and just sighed jumping back onto her rock. She sat up straight looking around fully alert. The scent of the elephant and wildabeast were strong and she felt hungry. "You wanna go hunting?"

`Zoe
Maawio paused again once she had finished speaking and turned to face the oncoming crowd. "Whoa..." She murmured. She had forgotton how big elephants were... But she couldnt help but think she had seen the wilderbeast and elephant somewhere before... She looked down to think and scanned the larger creatures again.

EDIT=

Maawio blinked at Bakhti for a moment and spoke again. "Sorry, I dont mean to be rude, but can I just go and ask them something?" She said, nudging her head towards the creautures.

Seth Napthan
She looked a little confused as the lioness was going to talk to creatures she herself would have classed as a tasty meal but she shook her head, "Yeah sure go on." She watched the small lioness carefully and the creatures she was going to.

`Zoe
Maawio padded nearer to the creatures, her huge eyes warey and showing signs of fright as she approached the elephants tusks, looking up to his huge head. "Erm... Excuse me?" She said, her voice becoming strangely squeaky.

Lightning Shadow X
The huge paciderm looked down at the golden speck near him and narrowed his eyes, he was sort of a big bulyl sometimes but at the sight of the small lioness the wildabeest couldn't help but smile.
"Hey there sweety who are you?"
The elephant suddenly conked the creature on the head, seemingly having no effect on the nitwit except for one of his ears flicking.
"Don't patronise her Nukie...whadd'ya want kid?"
As they talked to the lioness, Sukutu really had fallen asleep, purring slightly.

`Zoe
She looked from the wilderbeast to the elephant and smiled, her fur bristling slightly as she continued... "Erm, do you know anyone called...Sukutu..." She said, though she really had no hope...

Seth Napthan
The lioness curled up again laying her head on her paws. Her grey-blue eyes shone in the light as they watched Maawio talk to the creatures that she felt like eating.

Lightning Shadow X
The elephant seemed to raise one of his brows before tilting his head to the side, then it hit him.
"You wouldn't happen to be that Maawio kid would'ya?"
As he spoke the wildabeest interupted again making the huge bull flap his huge ears angrily, this creature could be so annoying at times.
"Yeah I think she is Mabaia...Suku' said she's a golden lioness with big perdy sapphire eyes didn't he?"
The paciderm rolled his eyes and then looked at the girl once more.
"Yeah we know 'im..."

`Zoe
She smiled with relief. "Yes, i am Maawio..." She said, trailing off at the sheer size of the elephant... "So, excuse me, but would you know where Sukutu would be now?

Lightning Shadow X
The elephant blinked and looked at her.
"Hmm?...oh yeah sorry 'bout that..." He said, calming down a bit before his long trunk curled around his back and then tugged at the sleeping lion's tail.
"Hey sleepin' beauty wake up you have a visitor!!"
A loud groan came from the paciderm's back before their was a sort of fed up yawn, the young lion couldn't take much more of this and then jumped down from Mabaia's back and onto the hard ground, giving a long stretch.
"Oh yeah?...who is i-...."
He trailed of as he saw Maawio and his jaw opened slightly.
"Maawio?"

Seth Napthan
The lioness stood up at the sight of another male. She guessed that Maawio knew him but she was weary either way she trotted over to them both. She sat down a little away from them so she could just about hear what was being said. She laid low to the ground looking as if she was about to pounce but that was not her intentions.

`Zoe
Maawio blinked in suprise, before running to Sukutu and attacking him affectionately. It hadnt been that long but she had still missed him. She looked a little embarassed around the other creatures but she didnt care, she got to see her brother again!

Lightning Shadow X
Sukutu let out a loud 'oof' sound as he was attacked and then gently tugged on his little sisters ears before licking her cheek.
"I'll take that as a Hello huh?" He said jokingly and then looked around before seeing an adolescent female, hmm, it was a while since he'd seen another adolescent.
Nukie meanwhile hid behind the bulk that was Mabaia, he was alright with juvenille lions...it was the older teen he was scared off.
But as he watched the male lion just gave Maawio a loving nuzzle before looking at the other female.
"Uhhhm...Hello?"

Seth Napthan
She stood up and walked over looking at the two lions. She then turned to Maawio but didn't question what had happened she was curious but didn't say anything. "Hello." She didn't speak much and only said what was needed unless she felt safe around the others which she did not.

Lightning Shadow X
Sukutu tilted his head curiously, half his mane covering half of his face only showing one of his pale violet orbs that stared at the females beautiful blue eyes.
"What's your name?" He asked, trying to sound as polite as possible as his ears flattened slightly.

Seth Napthan
She cocked her head to one side looking at him, "I am Bakhti and you are?" She looked at the elephant and then the wildabeast. She was hungry but had a feeling she wouldn't be eating that one.

Lightning Shadow X
The adolescent blinked at her actions before smiling and then straightening his head, his one eye going half lidded before he cleared his throat.
"Sukutu...are you new here?"
What a stupid question, ofcourse she was new, he'd never seen her before so obviously she would be, but never the less he asked anyway.

Seth Napthan
She nodded her head, "Yes I am." She then thought it would be a good idea to tell him how she knew Maawio. "I have joined Maawio and another lion on there wanderings though I shan't always be with them."

Lightning Shadow X
Sukutu was quite happy at hearing this, as long as Maawio and that...Amari kid or what ever his name was had an older lion near them, he was sure they'd be ok.
A smile came across his maw at this point and he looked at her.
"Well I'm happy to know my little sister will be with a responsible young lady such as yourself..."
He the flicked his head making his mane move out of the way of his face, revealing both his pale eyes.

Kimaria
Amari trotted up, he had fallen behind for a little while but now he was striding up to where the collection of others stood. He paused and tilted his head. He knew that lion...he had seen him somewhere before...what was his name again?

Suku...something..

He stretched and flopped down on the ground, trying to listen in on their conversation.

Seth Napthan
She smiled, "Well I hope I can watch them both for as long as I am with them but my plans are to settle down somewhere." She looked back as she saw Amari walking towards them. She smiled at him and then looked back to Sukutu.

Lightning Shadow X
The brown male listened to her, licking one of his cream paws before he looked up again and smiled, he was curious, did this mean she wanted to find a Pride of her own.
"Oh I see..."
His ears flicked slightly before looking over and seeing the orange male, he then gave a small smirk at him before looking back at the girl.
"So...how far are you all headin'?"

Kimaria
Amari snarled, lowering himself in the grass as the male lion swept his gaze over him. He blinked his hazel eyes and settled himself more comfortably. Why had Maawio wanted him to be her brother? He was just as bad as himself, chatting up the femmes.

He growled quietly, his tail swishing and causing the grass to crackle. Who did he think he was, chatting up that lioness like that!?

Seth Napthan
The lioness shrugged, "I dont know ask him." She nodded her head in the direction of the lion cub. "I am just following them untill I find a place to settle down where I can be safe." She didn't have much in what she wanted but it was enough for her.

Lightning Shadow X
Sukutu blinked and then looked over at the juvenille, he then gave a friendly nod towards Bahkti and gave a friendly smile her way.
"Thanks...it was nice meeting you by the way..."
He then drew his attention towards the boy and smiled before stopping near him, he could feel something was troubling him and gave a concerned look.
"Hey...uhhmm...you ok?"

Seth Napthan
She sighed looking over at the wildabeast before following him over to Amari. She kept however looking back hungrily at the wildabeast. She was hungry and he was the only food near here.

She walked over to Amari and nuzzled him in her friendly way and she hoped it would wind him up a little. She then laid down facing him but watching Sukutu.

`Zoe
Maawios fur was once again enhanced by accents of light glimmer against the bright gold. She coughed as a few dust particles invaded her airway and she pulled herself up and tried not to stumble over a nearby protruding rock.

She looked over to Bahkti and smiled, her occuli also shining under the suns rays.

"I hope you arent thinking what i think you may be thinking." She said, with what could be dechipered as a slight wink at the end of her comment.

Kimaria
He stood up almost instantly, wishing that he was as big as this Suku. He didn't like being towered over, especially by over males who could pose a threat to him.

He kept his face as calm as possible, dropping the snarl and the growl almost instantly. In a fight, Amari would be crushed and he also had no intention of fighting Maawio's beloved brother and upsetting her.

He opened his maw to give some retort when suddenly the older lioness approached him from the side, nuzzling him and causing him to stumble sideways. He tilted his head round to look at her in wide-eyed surprise, then huffed.

"I'm fine." He grumbled, eyes darkening as he flopped back onto his rump.

`Zoe
Maawios eyes widened at his last statement. "You dont look fine to me..." She blinked and gave him a nuzzle whilst reclining near his side, smiling, trying to at least cheer him up a little.

Seth Napthan
Bakhti looked at Maawio a little confused, "huh?" Was she emplying(sp?) that she had a crush on Sukutu? Bakhti couldn't help but confuse herself. She shook her head and continued to listen to the males.

Lightning Shadow X
He blinked softly before seeing the uncomfertable state the boy was in and gently lowered himself so he lay down, at least this way he was both comfertable and showed he meant no harm, especialy not to someone who was protecting his little sister.
"If your sure then..." He asked and then snorted slightly as some dust came flying into one nostril.
"So...where are all of you heading anyway?"
He asked, giving a smile towards the young male as he looked at Maawio for a brief second.

Kimaria
He lowered his head, eyes focusing on Maawio as she neared him and leaned into her affectionate gesture, glad that atleast someone in the world would stick by him and be by his side.

He looked a little startled as the lion lowered his larger form to lay down close by him. At his question he drew both ears forwards and twisted his head in the golden female's direction.

"I have no plans, so if Maawio has somewhere specific we haven't got a decided destination yet." He let himself relax a little more.

Lightning Shadow X
The adolescent smiled at Maawio nuzzling into Amari, she was so affectionate sometimes, even to people she had just met, but then again he supposed this boy did care about her aswell.
He yawned softly before looking over and seeing that Nukie and Mabaia had gone hom, probably bored...either that or the elephant was afraid that the smell from Nukie would kill him and his friends.
He then nodded at Amari's words and smiled.
"Very well..." He said softly.

Kimaria
The rusty-coloured lion made his way through the sparse grass, keeping to the areas where it grew tall to hide his bulky young frame. His hazel eyes scanned the land before him and as he padded alogn his mind drifted back to Maawio and the others.

He had no intention of leaving her, but he didn't really like that Suku lion much and had decided to take a bit of time out to be alone.

So of course when his eyes ettled upon the rude lion he had met not too long ago he felt a growl bubble in his throat. Why did he always meet the annoying ones? Where were all the lionesses!?

He paused and huffed, his tail waving slowly behind him as he moved in a fluid motion towards the male. He was just passing by.

Lethrossen
Asi was disappointed, Mataka had fallen asleep in the middle of their talk. Must have been she was tired, the sun never helped that. His tail flicked, eyes lighting up as he saw the rust colored male passing by. Time for some fun.

"Aye there rust-bucket, where do be lil' priss face?" He grinned, tail still flicking, laying on the ground looking at ease. Asi really needed a hit on the head. He should not go starting fights.

Kimaria
Amari paused mid step and turned his head slowly towards the male, eyes narrowing and muzzle wrinkled with the beginnings of a snarl. Then after a few seconds he turned his form to face the male, taking a somewhat threatening step forwards.

"What...did you call me!" His voice almost trembled in rage, he could nto believe that this male had the nerve to talk to him that way!

His voice irritated him more than he had ever believed a simple tone could and he flexed his claws.

Lethrossen
Asi shifted, body tensing slightly, but being such an idiot he laughed. "Temper temper.. Well see.. i syas ta myself.. I dun recall this guys name. Aye.. yer know why? Yer didn't give it ta me. Sos.. sos I says.. well here's one way to get his attantion. An' it did, dinnee?" He smirked slightly, sarcasum laced into his voice.

"Lovely day though.. Sos that why yer all out an' about? Storllin?" He smirked more, tail flicking slowly. Oh the things Asi did in boredom.

Kimaria
Amari raised his head, taking another step forward, the look of anger fading out a little bit as his eyes flashed with irritation. "And do you know why I didn't tell you my name?" He flashed a toothy grin, not a charming one but a rather harsh expression on his usually placid face.

Then he took another step forwards, dark claws revealed as he raised one paw from the ground. "You are not worthy of knowing my title." He huffed, orbs darkening further. This time Maawio's kindness was not here to calm, his annoyance.

Seth Napthan
Bakhti had awoken to only see the little female and her brother. She lapped up some of the water before raising her nose towards the sky as she did so she caught the scent of the little flirt who seemed to be very close to Maawio. She graciously jumped off her rock and put her nose to the ground following the scent. She was rather bored and wanted someone to talk to or maybe play with even though she was older.

As she followed the scent she caught another scent that made her snarl. The young cub who had annoyed the hell out of her. She carried on though after Amari's scent.

As she reached the two she laid down on the ground hiding in the grass watching them, ready to pounce the annoying cub who she still had not found out his name. She stayed still though and just watched.

Lethrossen
Asi's mirth slowly drained from him, and his eyes narrowed, flashing his own teeth in a just as unfriendly smile. "Not worthy, aye?" He gave the paw a glance, swallowing. Oh yes he was nervous.

One way to find out if you're good at fighting.. is to have a fight, right? Well Asi has never had a fight. Asi shifted and beganc to scuttle back again. "You do no be worth my time.." He muttered, he sat still, made sure his eyes were narrowed. If he wasn't thinking so hard into getting out of the mess he made he might have smelt Bakthi, but he didn't. Which ultimately ment more trouble for him.

It was never good to go about making enemies. A throaty growl slowly rose. "Surely a few words no hurt yer feelings.. do they?" His eyes flashed, this could be taken two ways. Rust bucket could flip on him, thinking he was still poking fun.. or rust bucket could.. Asi swallowed. What else could rust-bucket think?

Now he wished he had those words back, and the growl died. "No worth my time.." he muttered again, eyes flicking around, looking for a way out, it was obvious.

Kimaria
The male grunted, tail swishing as he took yet another step forward. He could sense the nervousness in his opponent, obviously the pompous little brat had never fought another. Oh yes this would be easy indeed.

He snarled and gritted his teeth, "Where do you think you're going, too afraid to finish what you started?" He shook the man out of his eyes, lowering himself to protect his vulnerable throat.

A few words never hurt his feelings, he just got extremely irritated. This male lion especially seemed to tick him off and he was beginning to find that just about every male he came across annoyed him in some way. His eyes darkened, an anger once again stirring within them.

"Stay a while." He growled, "my claws would like to get to know you better." He moved sidewats a little, trying to cut off an escape route which the other seemed to be trying to look for and lowered himself further, ready to pounce.

Seth Napthan
Bakhti watching what was going on gave them a wide berth as she circled round to get behind Asi. She wasn't gonna let him out of a fight especially one that will be this interesting. She smiled as she carefully and silently creeped behind him laying down just visable to Amari.

Lethrossen
Never back an animal into a corner. Faced with no where to go Asi crouched low, snarl forming on his own mug. "Yer know.. I never thought I wanted ta get ta know annee thin' less.." He hissed, putting pressure on the back of his legs. Could he jump Amari? Probably. He was glad cats could jump high, more than anything right now. But he felt a coward. Know, he knew he was a coward.

He'd never had any siblings to romp about with, he'd never been in a play fight let alone a real fight. He had no clue what was what. His claws flexed into the dirt, trying to think on what to do. Probably attack amari before Amari attacked him, right?

Asi lunged himself at Amari with a snarl.

Kimaria
Amari's dark eyes briefly brushed over the form of the older female and a muscle twitched in his jaw. Did that mean Maawio was nearby too? He hoped not, but then did this also mean she was by herself, or was her brother still with her?

He shook his head violently, turning his attention back to the matter at paw, how to deal with this brat? It had to be neat and quick, perhaps he'd just give him a bit of a scare and then leave. He didn't much like the idea of killing another lion even if it was his male pride that would be damaged. No matter what others might think of him he wasn't that heartless.

Then suddenly the male was throwing himself at him and he stumbled backwards dropping quickly to the ground to protect his face from flying claws.

He roared, maw gaping as he felt the male's form fly past him. His eyes widened and he whirled round baring his fangs, was the male trying to escape him?

He leapt after him, reaching out with a right paw to try and swipe at Asikari's back legs, perhaps knock him off balance and claim himself as the winner. He just hoped the female wouldn't get in the way, he didn't want his battles to be won by a lady, especially a pretty one.

Seth Napthan
Bakhti stalked a little closer to the males she wouldn't do anything not unless Amari was going to get hurt even though she wanted a mouthful of that anoying cub. She kept back though just watching but creaping forward she wanted Asi to see her. She wanted to see what his reaction would be, he was obviously rather scared.

Lethrossen
Asi was to foccused on saving his neck than noticing another thret. before he could even think to run, or to turn and fight back, he felt the sting of Amari's claws slashing into his thigh. He let out an angry and hurt hiss, mixed with a growl. Stumbling foward, face actually hitting the ground before he could force his two front legs to work properly, shoving him back to his feet.

He did not like this. Not at all. He turned, body low, tensed, tail lashing out behind him. He could feel a small trickle of warm blood on his hind legs, but the claws had not penetrated too deeply, thank the light.

His paw swiped at the other male's face, claws extended. His heard was racing, he couldn't think.. this wasn't as fun as picking on others. Hell, he was scared out of his wits. And again, he didn't like it.. but it was such a rush!

Kimaria
Amari had skidded to a halt as Asikari fell forwards and his heart almost skipped a beat. He hadn't thought he had hit him that hard, was he...okay? He took a small step forwards and jumped back a little as he heard the angry growl from his competitor.

Ah ha, so it seemed that he did have the upperhand, it wouldn't be long before this fool would be running for his life. No one would mess with Amari!

Then suddenly his opponent turned around and he felt the sting of a paw catch the side of his face. He stumbled sideways, a growl erupting from his throat that soon turned into an angered roar. How could he have let that pathetic lion hit him?

Blinded by a sudden rage he shook his head, blood from the wound on his temple trickled down into one eye and he had no choice but to close it. "You'll pay for that!" He snarled, lunging sideways, intent on smashing into the lion's side with his own body weight.

With his head held high to keep it out of claw's reach he moved as swiftly as possible, the heat from his wound pounding against his skull.

Seth Napthan
Bakhti tensed a little she wanted to fight but knew males were much about pride. She got up now and trotted towards them in full view of everyone. She wanted to attack she longed to but she just watched ready to help Amari after wards. She sighed as she stood watching.

Lethrossen
Asi roared as he was thrown back, Amari doing a wonderful job at getting him down. Hitting the ground with a hard "oof" he gasped for hair, snapping at Amari for all he was worth. That was hard to do in the position they were in.

Asi twisted hard, trying to get in a better spot to kick at Amari. "Will yer now?" He shouted, breathing hard.

Kimaria
Amari twisted his head back, trying to keep vulnerable eyes and ears away from the other male's snapping jaws. He struggled to keep a good grip on the lion's form so that he could protect himself from his thrashing.

This was probably a dangerous position to be in, for both of them were in vulnerable positions and one mistake by either could be fatal. He had no intention of dying and he also did not want this male to die, he had simply wanted to scare him into being more respectful.

One of Asikari's hind legs caught him in the stomach, knocking the breath from him sharpfully, causing him to reel back, raising his torso up so he was balanced on his rear legs he roared and circled around. It was then that he saw the female and his eyes narrowed, would she be intent on killing Asikari? He growled at her, stepping forwards to warn her away. This wasn't right, they were no better than scavengers if they ganged up on this male.

He roared at her, "stay back." Forgetting briefly his opponent and leaving himself open to being attacked.

Seth Napthan
Bakhti shook her head as she saw himself open and leaped into the space between the lions snarling at both of them. She was bored of this fight they had no reason for it and lions weren't to fight over nothing. She stood firmly inbetween them, they were both bleeding and hurting and she thought now would be a good time to stop though she had enjoyed watching it.

quote="Lethrossen"]As soon as asi had cought the other with a kick and Amari had gotten off, he lay there a few seconds, panting. He rolled to his feet, eyes widening when he saw exactly who Amari was shouting out. He started to growl, still low to the ground. Not at Amari, at the female. What did she want to beat up on him too? He shifted his weight, gaze flicking to his leg. That hurt.

Wait. Amari wasn't attacking. He was.. foccused on the other female. Asi could easily have lept onto the other from behind, but he did not want the fight anymore. He staggered back a few steps, then a few more, slow, careful. His crowl died, his defensive position did not.

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
Maawios head was turned in the direction of all the noise. She sighed to herself. "Whats going on over there?" She said to herself, not knowing that Amari was right in the middle.

She padded over swiftly and raised her brow before looking deathly worried. "A-a-mari..?" She asked, his wound looked painful... She blinked and padded up to him, slowly, looking into his eyes and giving him a lick on his wound, gently.

Her bright blue eyes suddenly turned a little dark as she looked to Asi. "What did you do?!" She asked. She had guessed Amari had started it, but she was worried that he was quite hurt...

Kimaria
Amari blinked, the blood had fuzzed the vision in his left eye and his stomach ached from where he had been struck. Yet he would fight this female too if he had to. Just because she was a beautiful lioness didn't mean she could butt into his fights and protect him, he was not a cub any more!

He was a rogue, a lion who now had to protect Maawio. He had promised to take care of her and if he couldn't even scare off a lion such as the one he had been fighting now then what was the point of him being with her? He had to become stronger, more experienced if he expected to take care of the woman he cared about.

"Stay back!" He repeated, "This is not your fight!" His tail swished violently and he raised his head in a proudly male fashion. He looked past her briefly to the other male, he was in a defensive position and it would be difficult to restore their battle with Bakhti in the way.

He growled, lowering himself a little and unsheathing his claws. Then suddenly...a familiar voice. Maawio?

He straightened and winced a little as she licked at his wound, a growl quickly summoned itself in his throat and he shoved her away with a paw. "Maawio get away, you shouldn't be here!"

Seth Napthan
Bakhti snarled at both the males again and watched as Maawio also butted into the fight. She yawned and laid down between the males her body tense ready to break up the fight if needed. for some reason she thought of Maawio being innocent and she didn't think that Maawio needed to see a vicious fight.

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
Maawio fell as he shoved her, grazing her paws on the rocky ground... "Ouch..." She murmured, tears pricking in her eyes. That hurt. She hung her head slightly as she padded swiftly away. She was only trying to help... Was there no pleasing that lion? She thought, speckles of blood appearing on her paws where she had grazed them.

Lethrossen
All thoughts of defending himself went out his head. He stood up straight, eyes widening in surprise. "Wha' did I do.. eh? lil' miss.." he trailed off, glanced to Amari and winced. Best not be calling anyone names right now.

"Eh I did be doing nothin'" He hissed, still waiting. With so many here he wasn't about to turn his back to go just yet. He'd gotten a lucky swipe in at the fellows head. Lucky. Thats all he did.

He bet his own pelt that if they were to fight again he wouldn't turn out just as lucky.

Kimaria
Amari sighed, shaking his head and trying to clear his vision, it was a terrible thing to have a sense that you relied upon to become severly handicapped. He never realised just how much he needed his eyes to help aid him.

He winced as Maawio fell, and was torn between comforting her and finishing what he had started. He ignored Bakhti, deciding that perhaps he had been a little rash, she had merely tried to stop them from killing each other. Things had after all, gotten out of hand.

He moved slowly past the female pausing near the male and lowering his head, ears flattened back against his skull.

"Let's call this a draw, eh?" There was no joking tone in his vioce, it was a stern and factual statement. He growled a little and backed up, eyes intently watching Asikari. He had a feeling their paths would meet again.

Seth Napthan
Bakhti looked at the males and then Maawio. It didn't take her a second to run after her, "Maawio, wait!" She looked back at the males a small snarl a rose in her throat.

Lethrossen
Asi swallowed, backing up as Amari approached, hearing his words he snorted, but he regarded the tone carefully. It was true, there was not a hint of a joke in Amari's voice. Though Asi didn't really think he was the joking type anyways. (haha) He shifted, tail flicking and he nodded. "Aye, a draw.." he mumbled, fur still standing on edge. "Might wanta go retreave yer doll face.." He snorted and turned, heading his seperate way.

Boy he needed to learn to gaurd his tounge. Hopefully Amari would let it pass, Asi hadn't ment the comment to do any harm. He actually thought Amari should go comfort the girl, but he wasn't going to admit it. Easier to put it into a snide remark.

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
Maawio looked back to Bahkti, trying to blink the tears out of her eyes, but her paws were stinging. She cleared her throat and spoke in a quiet voice. "Yes?" She padded a little closer to Bahkti, trying to wipe the spots of blood off her paws with her tail.

Kimaria
The rusty coloured male's ears twitched and he snarled, considering going after him but decided it was best to leave it. He wasn't worth the energy, and if he constantly wanted to pick fights then he was sure to meet another lion who would fight with him on his behalf.

With a flick of his tail he turned and headed in the opposite direction when his head suddenly spun violently. He had forgotten that head wounds often took a while to seal up, and his injury still bled freely. He paused mid-step, shaking his head and then growling as the pain splintered around his skull.

Then with a pained grunt he eased himself to the ground, waiting for the spinning to cease in his head. If he ever saw that lion again he would get him for making him feel so terrible.

Seth Napthan
Bakhti looked at Maawio her eyes were full of care. It was a rare thing but she felt bad for the poor girl. "maybe you should rest a little.." She didn't really know what to say as it might offend the lioness.

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
Maawio smiled warmly. This lioness was so sweet... She blinked her giant blue eyes and an idea sprung to her mind. "Want to go for a walk?" She asked shyly. She liked to talk things out sometimes, and she had never been able to do that before, so she wanted to take the oppertunity whilst she had it.

Seth Napthan
Bakhti smiled, "If you sure it wont make your paws worse!" she smiled and looked back at where the other lions were and where the battle had been.

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
Maawio smiled again, "Im sure it wont," She said, stuttering a little as she began to trot along slowly, looking to Bahkti with what could be admiration in her large occuli.

Lethrossen
Asi was grinning like an idiot. His first fight and he wasn't dead, he considered that rather good. He shifted, frown fading a little He had to find some where to rest.. tend to his leg. It wasn't bleeding anymore, thankfully. He headed slowly back to the waterhole, wishing he could find someone he actually liked around here.

Taad was pretty good for company, for the brief time. But he'd ran off somewhere. Asi slowed at the small waterhole, laying down and twisting his body, tounge flicking at the drying blood. His ears turned a bit, listening.

Kimaria
Amari paused where he had been lying down, drawing in each breath deep and slow. The tight feeling in his chest was slowly dissapearing but the pain in his head exploded with each movement.

He growled a little and glanced over to the females, watching with a sinking heart. Girl talk. This couldn't be good. Now Maawio was going to leave him for being such a brute and he would be all alone again. Alone. What a terrible concept.

He wanted to go after them and tell them he was sorry, sorry for being such an incompetant fool but he didn't have the energy to move, so instead he lay down, shifting onto his side and stretching out his legs in a more comfortable position.

Seth Napthan
Bahkti smiled, "Ok then, Just if your paws start hurting stop and we will have a rest!" Bakhti was surprised at herself. She was being so kind but then its how she felt. This lioness was probably the best lion she had met her and Suku.

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
Maawio smiled to Bakhti and wandered by her side with a lost expression on her face... "Are all males... like him?" She said, looking in the distance to Amari, who hadnt even bothered to try and follow her. She sighed, ears flattened against her head in sadness.

Seth Napthan
"I wouldn't know. The only males I have met have been ok-ish." She wasn't the greatest person to talk to about guys as she had no experiance with them what so ever though she would like to maybe one day have a mate.

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
She looked down to her blood-spotted paws... "Sometimes..." She sighed, "He just seems mean..." She murmured. "Is that just a male thing?" She asked hopefully, her wide eyes looking very innocent. Her petite golden cranium was once again lowered as she breathed out her reply. "Amari is a good lion... But sometimes I doubt if he actually respects anyone...". A sigh escaped her maw for what must have been the 50th time today. She stopped breifly to lick her paws clean of all scarlet blemishes.

Seth Napthan
She looked sadly at her, "males are males, they think they know best!" She watched as Maawio washed her paws and sighed once again. "Maybe he will one day, maybe he will grow to be a vicious killer, who knows." She hoped for Maawios sake that it wasn't the latter of the two.

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
Maawio sighed. "I hope not, for I certainly wont be travelling with him then!" She said, how horrible it would be to travel with a murderer... She shuddered, her large eyes becoming glassy and filled with fear for a moment, before she shook her head and looked back to Bahtki.

Seth Napthan
She smiled in her caring way, "Well I aint gonna let him even if it means I have to fight him. He could be a very nice lion and a strong one if he wanted." She agreed though she would keep well away from him if he became a killer or anything.

`Zoe
The juveniles (XD) head tilted downwards, her large sapphire eyes were growing shinier by the second. She stuttered a little as she said this... "I dont even k-know why I left..." She said. "I heard news that my mother is g-gone and I never really even got to know her, and I ran away anyway... and... and..." She wanted to continue but her tears clogged up her throat...

Seth Napthan
She looked at her looking slightly confused, "huh?" She looked at Maawio maybe it was her eyes but she looked different in some way. SHe was bigger slightly or was it alot. Bakhti shook her head thinking she was going mad.

`Zoe
Maawio sighed... "The wildeerbeast brought news that my mother is missing..." She said, her throat oddly clogged up, the tears now streaking her ivory and gold face...

Kimaria
Amari finally shifted his weight, the blood had atleast ceased to run freely down his face, and instead had begun to dry in his fur. He had managed to pry his eye open but it was still difficult to see out of.

He padded slowly over to where the females were, head held low in shame.

Seth Napthan
Bakhti didn't know what to do so just nuzzled her trying to comfort her. "I am sure it will be ok.. it must be. After all lions go wandering its our nature!" She didn't know what to say or do so just nuzzled the lioness.

`Zoe
Maawio stopped crying but looked up to the larger lioness with a grateful smile before turning, somewhat coldly, which was unusual for Maawio, to Amari and sniffing. "Oh, it you..." She said stiffly, her eyes trying to avoid him, instead watching her ivory dipped paws, the grazes were now clean, but she felt awful...

Seth Napthan
Bakhti looked at Maawio and then at Amari, "You want me to go and leave ya to sort stuff out?" SHe aimed the question at Maawio not sure if she should stay as it wasn't really anything to do with her.

Kimaria
Amari blinked and raised his head slowly, wincing at the effort it took. He would probably have quite a headache for a while. He turned his head to look at the older lioness but said nothing, simply took a small step back. Did he have the right to even be here?

No. He should leave.

"I'm sorry." He whispered, and took another step back.

`Zoe
Maawio dipped her head for a moment. "Yes please," She said, trying not to say it in an offensive way, or a way that could possibly offend anyone. Her eyes were full of what could be desribed as dissapointment, and her heart felt like it was about to fall on her paws...

Seth Napthan
Bakhti sighed and turned to walk off. She had no reason to be around anyway not that she had anything to do. She sighed one last time and ran off in a random direction there must be something to do somewhere.

Kimaria
The male closed his eyes briefly but when he opened them again he found the older lioness walking away. What was happening? He took anothe nervous step back, head lowered further as he glanced nervously up at Maawio.

This was it, she was going to tell him to leave.

`Zoe
Maawio was a kind girl, sweet, yet anxious juvenile... She sighed, her heart was being pulled in all kinds of directions, yet she knew, deep inside...

She stepped up to Amari, her golden cranium held higher than usual.
"Amari... You cant treat people this way. I mean, look at you, wounded and apologetic, you can keep a lioness by ditching them 10 minutes after
you've charmed them with some cheesy line..."

She paused, her eyes now shedding tears once more.
"Im sorry..." She said, leaning in and nuzzling him for the last time. It could of worked. Yes it could've, but she wasnt ready to leave her home, she had done everything in a crazy rush...

She picked up her slightly grazed paws, and with a fleeting glance back to Amari, she grinned at Bahkti. She would see her again, she was a lovely lioness, and she would make a point of finding her someday. But she knew where she belonged, and her heart ached to leave. She looked back to where she was headed.

To pride rock.
To the pride lands.
To home.

Kimaria
A part of him died that day - although he would never admit it. He stood facing straight ahead like a stone carving, eyes unseeing ears not hearing and the beating of his heart void in his chest.

A painful lump had formed in his throat that caused tears to spring into his hazel eyes and as she walked away he felt suddenly sick. It was happening all over again, he kept making the same mistakes and now he was alone once more.

He sagged forwards, turning his head sideways so it wasn't struck too badly when meeting the ground, and then the first tear he had shed since he was a cub slid down his nose.

Seth Napthan
Bakhti looked back, what ever the two had spoken about had left Amari in tears and she couldn't let that happen. She was to kind at heart and ran back to Amari she didn't ask what had happened she just nuzzled him and licked at his wounds hoping he wouldn't atack her or anything.

`Zoe
She picked up her pace, tears now falling rapidly down her pelt, she ran faster back to the pridelands, the place she could call home once again. She ran so she didnt have to look back, she had to stop herself before she changed her mind.

Her sobbing figure leant against the huge statue that was Pride Rock when she arrived... But she was home.

Home is where the heart it...

Kimaria
If he felt Bakhti he gave no sign, simply lay where he was and did nothing. He may as well have been a corpse and the wound in his head no longer hurt. No...there was a larger wound, one that could not be healed by such simple measures.

Seth Napthan
Bakhti didn't know what to do she just sat next to Amari and looked in the direction that she had seen Maawio go. She sighed and looked at the heart broken lion. Maybe things could have been different but she couldn't do anything about it but sit next to Amari wishing she could do something but she knew there was nothing.

`Zoe
Her eyes full of pain, but not like the pain when she fell, more like a huge hole... She cried bitterly. She knew what that feeling in her stomach was, she knew. And she had to throw it away... She felt so foolish, but she had to do it, she had to...

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
Maawio lay in her den in pride rock, the dust slowly gathering over her pelt, until she rose from her slumber and shook it off, creating small clouds in the atmosphere.

She yawned and gazed out of her cave, surveying the lands ahead of her. Then she remembered... She sighed slowly and pulled herself up. The pride was so small now... Especially with Sukutu and Mwali and a few others leaving... She reclined with a dull thud, but then decided it was better to go out and face the world. Although she was now terribly alone inside her own pride.

She wandered outside the cave and skid down to the bottom of pride rock, padding swiftly out into the savvanah to go catch herself some breakfast.

Kimaria
Amari yawned, teeth revealed to the sun as he placed one paw in the water, it seemed to be moving slowly today, it's gentle flow somehow calming the storm that was raving inside of himself. Could he just leave without apologising to her or explaining why he had done what he had?

He gazed across the river, the pride rock towering above anything else for miles around. You couldn't miss it, and it's natural structure, it's splendour was Maawio's home. It was clear to him now it had been wrong for her to leave and for him to encourage it, why hadn't he seen it before? Well that was simple, too blinded by his own ego, the same ego that was slowly being destroyed.

Perhaps he should go find that male lion who he had fought with and put the blame on him. For some reason however he knew it wasn't his fault, he could quite easily have chosen to ignore his foolishness.

He placed his other paw in the water and started across, he was in no mood to try and keep himself dry. He just had to find her and say goodbye, then he could move on as he had always done.

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
Her figure was close to the ground as she relcined into her hunting stance, tail flickering gently against the ground, each of her paws propelling her sleek body towards her chosen prey; today a thomsons gazelle, and a small one at that. Her sapphire eyes were fixed upon the doe as she planned her swift attack.

Pulling her ears back in concentration she shimmied to the right so she could attack the female from behind and pierce the haunces with an agile blow, hopefully bringing the creature down so she could then kill it. It was a somewhat aerial attack, or should she go for the legs? No... She remembered her bruised chest from a paticularly nasty blow from a zebra. She'd stick to plan A with hooved animals, she had decided.

Kimaria
Amari pulled himself up onto the bank on the otherside, peering back over his shoulder and then shaking his fur. Water sprayed around him and he trembled, mane hanging in his eyes and tail dragging on the ground. No he was not a happy kitty at all.

It was then that he realised he had no idea where he might find Maawio and he had an idea that it could take a while to track her down. Perhaps he could find someone else who knew of her location or maybe...just maybe he should turn and leave.

The feeling in his chest however would not let him turn back and with a huff he began to walk away from the river, turning his head from side to side, hoping to catch a glimmer of golden fur or a flash of brilliant blue eyes.

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
Her hauncehes were now bearing what felt like her whole weight, yet she made sure they had some room for the springy pounce. She eyes her prey for a final time before locking herself into a position and digging her claws into the ground, ready to pounce.

Damnit!! The creature decided to move... So she then had to change her position to face the haunces of the paticularly difficult doe once more. She suppressed a sigh before pulling herself back and snapping foward in a spring like motion and digging her claws into the rump of the doe.

Slashing a little to draw blood instantly, she tried not to fall off as she then bit at the back legs of the doe, her eyes gaining a skillful look in them. As the does balance began to deteriorate Maawio jumped to her neck and pressed her ivoried down into it, a soft click ensuring that she had pierced the jugular. The doe flailed and fell, the air being drawn repidly from its body as an out-of-breath Maawio clutched her kill and began to drag it away from the fleeing stampede of gazelle.

Kimaria
Amari had been walking for a while and he turned back to try and catch a glance of the river only to find he could no longer see it's glittering surface. Then suddenly he heard a high-pitched squeal of a prey beast and he curved his head back to glance around him.

The ground beneath his feet shuddered at the distant stampeding and he wondered, could a lion be the cause of their distress? He lowered himself and crept forwards through the grass, hoping he didn't come face to face with a large lion who would be able to snap him like a twig.

Using the long grass to hide his form he moved onwards, a stray few gazelle dashed past him and he raised his head to see the herd moving frantically around. So...where was the lion? Had the Gazelle simply felt like some exercise or something? He huffed and lowered himself once more, swishing his tail as he circled the area.

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
Maawios maw was now blood splattered as she tucked into her breakfast. The meat was very tender, and Maawio found herself eating heartily, like she hadnt eaten a meal in a week. Well, she had been quite hungry.

She let out a small yawn before continuing to eat the creature and then tossing the carcass on the side, lying flat with her stomach now completely full. "Urghh..." She said, feeling a little bloated, but pulling herself up into a sitting position all the same.

Kimaria
The sound of a lion caught at Amari's ears and he froze for a full ten seconds, body tense and ready to run at any sign of danger. He couldn't help but wonder briefly if this is what a prey beast felt like just before they died.

Then shaking his head he moved to the left, peering over a low rock to set eyes upon the golden female. His heart gave a painful beat in his chest as he dropped to the ground.

Suddenly his courage left him and he wondered if perhaps he should leave, she looked happy and content. Had he really brought her so much distress? His vision wobbled as a sheen of tears glazed his hazel orbs and he remained still, watching her from his hiding place.

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
She looked down to the grazes on her paws in thought, and her eyes became clouded with tears again... She missed him already.... She hung her head and sighed...

"But what I am going to do?" She thought... But there was nothing to be done... A tear slipped down her golden fur again... "Its so unfair..." She whispered, or at least, it seemed that way...

Kimaria
What's this? She was...crying? He blinked his eyes furiously to clear them of their blur and moved forwards quietly, his mind was racing. What could he possibly say to her that would make her happy. The tears didn't suit her at all, where was that smile? He wanted to see her as he had when they had first met, content and stunning in her grace.

He straightened so that his form became visible and he took a step forward, faltering a little as he drew closer. What could he say? He lowered his head a little and gave a weak smile. "Hey." The word was a whisper but he knew she would hear it.

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
Oh no... She shook her head to rid herself of the running tears and looked up to him with her large orbs still giving off her sensetivity and kind-hearted nature, although they were layered with a dull sadness. She didnt want him to see her crying. She wanted to be strong...

She sniffed and pulled herself up, the sun shining directly off her golden coat. "H-hey..." She replied, her mind quite blank and her voice as equally quite as his.

Kimaria
He drew in a deep breath, summoning the courage inside of him as he drew closer to her, lowering his head to lick a tear away from her face. He then took a small step back and sat down, making sure to give her enough to space. By rights he should have left her alone by now. So why did that seem like such a terrible prospect.

"I...I came to tell you something." He said quietly, glancing at his paws sadly, he had so many things to say he just hoped he could find the words to express them correctly.

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
She managed a sad smile, and brought her head up to look him in the eyes. She felt happiness... Yet it was a very unusual feeling, masked by a sadness that couldnt seem to be penetrated. She looked back to her paws and then forced herself to look at Amari.

Seth Napthan
Bakhti had been wandering around alone now and she wasn't sure where to go or stay. Her friends; where were they? Had they already forgotten her? She dreaded the answer to that question and carried on walking her head still hung low. If it wasn't for her raising her head for a second she would have never seen Maawio and Amari and a small orange fluff ball? She watched in full view but out the way of them.

Kimaria
Amari diverted his gaze briefly, tracing the outline of the horizon with his hazel eyes, he hadn't told many people anything about himself, his past or even of his feelings. Such things had been locked away inside of him for what seemed like an eternity. He had learned to keep everything secret and to never share anything with others in fear of being taunted or manipulated, yet here and now he felt he could atleast tell this young lioness a little of this.

He shifted and lay down, eyes brushing over her form, settling on her eyes, that sad smile she wore on her features almost broke his heart. He tore his gaze away once more, unable to look at her, afriad that the image would taunt him forever.

"I've always been this way, treating things like a joke and...picking fights." He swallowed, his throat seemed suddenly dry. "I had two older brothers, they often thought it fun to pick on me...so I guess I've grown up learning to pick on other males as they did to me." He paused and glanced at her briefly, before closing his eyes. "I-I know this isn't a good excuse but..." He trailed off, lowering his head in shame, this wasn't right, why was he telling her this?

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
She pushed her paw up closer to her eyes, in an effort to wipe away any oncoming tears. She sighed, trying to calm herself. "I'm sorry about that..." She said softly... But she didnt really need excuses... She looked to the ground, her ears flattened in a dissapointed and generally upset way...

Kimaria
Amari sighed, and his ears flattened against his skull, this wasn't right, he shouldn't have been here. He got to his feet, head drooping forwards and damp mane still hanging in his eyes. He looked a completely different lion from what he had been just the day before.

"I'm sorry I pushed you, I was just afraid...I didn't want you to see anything of violence. You're too kind and gentle to be submitted to anything like that. I see now it was wrong of you to leave your home, you've found somewhere you belong whilst the life of a rogue is for lions who don't belong." He paused and raised his head, eyes focused on pride rock once more.

"I doubt that I'll ever truly find a place I belong, but the hope in me will never fade. I also wish I could promise you that I will change, that I'll be the lion you wish me to be...but." He choked and his eyes teared up, "I don't think I can." His voice was tight and he took a small step back.

"I won't lie to you Maawio." He shook his head sadly, "I did care for you, I still do, more than any other I met." He gave a weak smile but it soon faded, "you showed me that not all lions in this world are bad."

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
A tear now escaped, it had been this way for a few hours now.

But Maawios features soon lit up with a proper smile. "I really like you, and I still do..." She said, her watery eyes releasing a few more tears.
"You've just shown me that you can be much more of a man than I have seen of you." She said, nuzzling him and giving him a fond lick on the nose.
"If you ever decide to visit..." She said, hoping he would.

"You always have a place in me, I wont forget you..." She said, looking up to him with her eyes now full of care and admiration, the last of the tears sliding away.

Kimaria
A feeling stirred deep inside of Amari's chest, it made him feel warm and content, the ache in his heart eased a little. Perhaps it was her beautiful smile or maybe it was her words but he felt suddenly much better than he had.

The shadow that had darkened his eyes with grief lifted a little and he leant into her touch, a slight purr erupting from his throat instead of the growl that was too often heard from him.

"Y-you still like me?" He whispered in slight disbelief, yes she truly was a wonderful lioness. He licked her back on the nose, exhaling softly as he glanced up to the sky, suddenly things didn't look so dismal.

"Of course I will visit." He smiled, "I'll visit as often as I can, you're my only true friend Maawio." He nuzzled at her gently and glanced around. "Maybe one day I'll stay for good, but..." He paused and gazed back over his shoulder, "there are sunsets I still wish to see, I want to find where I truly belong, and even if I find that place it'll take a million elephants to stop me from returning to see you." He laughed quietly, nudging at her with a paw, his tail flicking from side to side.

He gazed at her, his eyes softening, "I'll stay in the area for a few more days however, I think...there are a few lions I need to apologise to." He seemed suddenly sheepish, but he knew that if he left things as they were he would never be able to return feeling completely at ease.

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
She let out a laugh. "I'm glad you feel that way..." She said, smiling with her true smile once more.

"Ill always be rooting for you, and If you do decide to stay for good, perhaps if you are older, then you are very welcome to share my cave." She said, blushing a little.

She remembered his fight... "Im sorry if I butted in, I didnt realise males thought that way,I shouldve left you to deal with Asi, I mean, you can stick up for yourself, after all." Her voice was a low content purr.

Lightning Shadow X
The brown adolescent had decided to take a small walk around the PrideLands before leaving, it was such a beautiful day, but he would so dearly miss is friends and family here for the time he would be gone.
He was sure they would return...but...with such a lethal pride as the Firekin, he wasn't so sure how many pieces he'd be in before that.
His eyes settled on the form of a lioness, Bakhti and then smiled before walking towards her, slowing down as he saw she was watching Maawio and Amari.
He himself settled down next to her and watched.

Kimaria
He returned her smile, a flash of white teeth glimmering in the sunshine as he moved to sit closer to her. "Well I guess it's about time I started making friends instead of pushing them away." He replied with sa shrug, "So long as they don't get too friendly with my girl then I guess it'll work out."

He blushed in reply to her next statement and shifted a little uncomfortably, he wasn't quite used to the females coming on so strong, but he supposed he would get used to it. "I'll hold you to that offer Sunshine." He grinned, eyes sparking with mischief.

"And don't apologise for anything, you were never in the wrong Maawio, you were simply trying to help and sometimes it helps to have a friend stick up for you too. I was grateful, just worried what you would think of me. Not all lions are kindly, so sometimes fights are inevitable. That male should be on the top of my list for apologies though, even if he was a fool I shouldn't have picked a fight on someone with no experience." He tilted his head up a little, gesturing to the wound on his temple, "although he did quite well I must say."

"I guess I should find Suku, Bahkti and Mahiri also. They deserve apologies and explanations."

Seth Napthan
She looked to him and smiled, "Hey!" She then turned back to Maawio and Amari she could just abouthear what they were saying. She was curious about what had happened and if they were still even friends with her. She had decided if Amari was going to continue being a rouge she would stay with him if thats what he wanted even though she wanted to settle down. It was her hearts wish to settle down somewhere.

She watched the two and smiled she found them both rather sweet though she wouldn't say anything.

Lightning Shadow X
"For what?"
Sukutu interupted as he walked out of his hiding place and towards the two, placing a fake stern look on his face as he looked at Amari and then sat down infront of him, light glistening from his violet eyes.
"For being protective around my little sister? For being one of her best friends? For staying by her side even if you've flirted with so many women??"
He almost sounded angry, but then his voice calmed slightly.
"You have made Maawio very happy..." All of a sudden he started to smile warmly at him and placed a paw on the juvenille males shoulder.
"And I am very proud of you keeping your promise to me..."

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
She smiled, her teeth flashing again. Everthing was alright again, her world was now upright. She looked into the distance and smiled to herself, pointing to a hiding Sukutu and Bahtki.

"We are being watched." She said, humor in her voice as she stalked up to the bush they were concealed in and pounced Sukutu.
"Ahah" She finished, as she nuzzled her brother and smiled warmly to Bahtki.

Mahiri trotted calmy towards Maawio with a sheepish look on his face. "Erm sorry, that rock was a tricky little thing." He said, eyeing Amari nervously. "I wasnt spying on you or anything, this rock just got erm wedged, in a rock over there, and ya know, I had to stop and get it out, otherwise it could've been in pain, ya' know?"

Kimaria
Amari couldn't believe it, practically everyone was here! He wasn't sure whether to be relieved or angry but decided letting his temper get out of hand would not look good, especially after he had just made up with Maawio.

He followed her and couldn't help but take a small step back at Sukutu's words, the larger male could be intimidating if he wanted to be. "I-I did my best but...I upset her and..." He trailed off, glancing to the Bakhti and then to the white lion who had also appeared.

He turned and glanced at him, catching the nervous look in his face and feeling an sadness grow inside him. Why had he never seen how his behaviour affected those around him before this moment? "Sounds like a very tricky rock to me." Amari grinned.

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
Maawio let out a giggle. "Must have been very tricky." Her eyes had regained their usual happy sheen and she was kinda embarassed that everyone had been watching, but at least she had made up with Amari.

Mahiri smiled, the nervous look somewhat fading as he felt Amaris humorous grin. "It was quite a tricky one yeh..." He said, playing along with the "rock joke". He quite liked it here.. Perhaps he should ask permission from Mufasa to join... Hmm.... He wasnt too sure just yet, he liked his freedom, for now.

Lightning Shadow X
The huge adolescent was taken back by the sudden attack of his little sister but quickly started to gently tug at one of her ears, purring happily before he looked at Amari and smiled warmly.
"You did your best...no one is perfect..."
He then looked over at the other male and smiled, a lot where coming now, but he took no heed and continued to play with his young sister.

Kimaria
Amari nodded thoughtfully, turning his head to glance at Maawio, she seemed happy and everything was right in the world, atleast for the time being.

He sighed and moved over to the white lion, he was a strange one indeed but he supposed that he could probably get used to his company after a while. "I'm sorry about the other day Mah, I guess I got a little carried away." He gave a small smile and turned to glance at everyone else once more.

ArgentumAuroraBorealis
Mahiri nodded, "Its okay, im just not the argumentative type." He said. "And that rock was very distracting...". He was a strange fellow indeed.

Maawio rolled her eyes to Mahiri in a funny yet sarcastic way. "You've missed a lot..." She started...

Mahiri groaned. "Tell me about it." He said, swanning over to Bahkti in a stylish way.

Asi shifted, coffee colored fure clean and dry, and slightly fluffy. He was none too happy about the fluffiness, but there was nothing to be done about it. Ear flicked as he continued through the planes, mind on his 'hunt' earlier this morning. With that annoying little lioness. True, his age. He could still considure her little though. Not that he'd done any of the hunting, either.

Kimaria
Amari yawned, he was bored and when he got into such a state of boredom-ness he tended to do things that he wouldn't normally do, such as hit on females that weren't of the lion species or chase dust clouds that were brought up under his paws.

At the moment however he was sitting reasonably close to where the coffee coloured male lay, hazel eyes narrowed at him.

Why was it he kept bumping into this male? He huffed and shifted his form, stretching lazily, making his presence known.

`Zoe
The small golden femme walked lazily through the plains, spotting a coffee coloured figure and cocking her head curiously. The cuff in the bottom of her hear glimmered slightly as she did so, her wooden beads making slight sounds as she padded a little faster towards who she presumed was Asi, her agile lims propelling her fowards in large bounds, as opposed to swift steps, and soon she was running. She wondered why her muscles felt so tense, she hadnt had a good run in ages.

As she came closer she noticed a rusty figure, and with a happy burst of speed she bounded towards Amari and pounced towards him playfully from behind, just hoping he would realise it was her. "Gotcha!" She exclaimed, tugging on his ear sweetly.

Lethrossen
Asi was drawn quickly away from his thoughts, eyes jerking toward the sorce of noise. He made a face. Rust-bucket and lil' miss priss. He rolled his eyes and huffed, continuing his lazy stroll. Sure, it might be nice to have a female around.. his face blanched. He wasn't too fond of the idea, not yet. But he'd rather be by himself. less annoying. He wasn't jealous at all. (-coughs-) He stretched a little in his padding, gaze remaining away from the pair.

Kimaria
Amari - having been watching the other male so intently - did not notice the golden beauty approaching him until he was being bowled over by her weight. He recognised the sweet scent of his Maawio almost instantly and squirmed around to face her, pressing his nose against hers in a lion-like kiss.

"Well this certainly is a nice surprise." He purred, eyes glazing over as he glanced up at her from where he lay on the dusty ground, momentarily forgetting about the presence of the other male.

Then as the coffee juvenille moved, his gaze was drawn sharply and he rolled over onto his stomach, shaking the dust from his mane. "Still alone then I see?" He grinned, ears drawing forwards as he focused on this other lion.

Lethrossen
His ear flicked and he slowed, now glancing at them. Well, to 'rust-bucket' anyways, and frowned. It wasn't an upset frown.. more of discusted. "Whassat supose' ta mean, eh? I do be choosen' ter be by meself, i do no be a leacher like yew.." he rolled his eyes slowly. He wasn't exactly sure rust-bucket was a leacher but.. He shifted uneasily, maybe he could cut back on the rudeness. He did not want to get in another fight.. he might not be so lucky this time.

Kimaria
Amari's snout wrinkled with confusion, annoyance and disgust. This lion needed to learn to talk properly. He took a small step towards him, moving from Maawio's side and tilted his head curiosly.

"Are you sure it's because no one can stand your company, eh?" He spoke with a bit of a smirk, twitching his ears as he glanced at this other male. He had no intention of getting into a fight again, the wound in his head had just about healed and he also didn't want Maawio getting annoyed at him again.

He swished his tail and glanced around him. "Well I don't blame them, you haven't got any manners."

Lethrossen
Asi's mouth hung open a bit, tail flicking. He huffed and started walking again, choosing not to even answer to that. Of coarse other lions could stand him.. the notion that they couldn't was ridiculous.. "I 'ave places I do be needin' to be. 'ave fun with yer lil' doll face." He muttered.

Kimaria
He chuckled lightly and watched the other lion leave through his hazel orbs but as he watched him padding slowly away he couldn't help but see an image of himself mirrored in the male. Did he truly want to be alone or was this just some facade he had placed around himself? Was he afraid of growing close to others and pushed them away instead?

He sat back on his rump, tail curling around his rusty-coloured form as he dwelled on these thoughts.

"Maybe we'll meet again sometime!" He yelled, "then I'll can help you find a girl!" He moved to stand next to Maawio, shaking his mane once more.

Kimaria
The rusty-coloured lion arched his back, fur glinting with a deep orange hue under the large setting sun. Maw parted in a wide yawn, tongue curling and teeth glimmering in the fading light. For a moment it looked as if he might just lie down and go to sleep, yet there was something...or rather someone who was keeping him from doing just that.

From here he could see the pride rock, it's great and fantastic structure rising up as a signal to everyone that they had entered pride lands. It seemed to glow a fiery red now and it was somewhat comforting to realise that finally he had reached his destination.

He had been travelling for a few hours non-stop just to get here before nightfall and it seemed he had made it just in time. He paused a moment longer to admire the rippling colours of the sunset before heading off through the long grass on the search for his golden beauty.

"Now..." He muttered to himself, eyes scanning the area ahead of him, "where would she be..." He trailed off and raised his head as a cloud of birds took to the air, their piercing cries alerting everyone in the area to his presence. He gave a toothy grin and continued onwards.

BurstBubble
Maawio smiled to herself as she padded along near the cool wateringhole, admiring the glimmering deep colours of sunset contrasting against the light colours of the water, and reflecting off it onto her pelt, making her appear even more golden than possible before.

She gave a small yawn and licked her paw absentmindedly, padding back to the huge figure that wass pride rock, before she spotted a figure in the distance. She felt her stomach flip as she recognised it as Amari. She squealed to herself. "Damn, i've got red on me!" She thought, trying to lick off some of the blood from the previous hunt, before bounding up to Amari and greeting him with a happy lick on the nose.

Kimaria
Amari's eyes raised as he heard an approaching lion, the steady thud of paws hitting the ground was an indicator that they were moving at quite a rate. His panic however was short-lived as he found the deep and cool eyes of his beautiful Maawio.

He gave a welcoming roar, a short sound which could be translated as 'hey' and reared up a little on his hind legs, increasing his pace to meet her partway. Suddenly the ache in his muscles seemed to fade, the journey he had enjured seemed suddenly nothing compared to the reward at the end.

A rumbling purr emanated from his throat as he nudged at her with the flat of his skull, eyes closing as he enjoyed this brief meeting. Then finally he glanced up at her once more, moving to lick at one of her paws, eyes glazing over with fondness. "You've got red on you." He muttered with a small grin. "Been hunting again by any chance?"

BurstBubble
She gazed inot his eyes whilst uterring a reply. "Yes, as always." She sighed happily, she loved hunting, and knew Amari knew that. She grinned whilst extending her right paw and looking to her ear. A small wild dog had given her these items, she had wondering for awhile whether Amari would like them or not.

Kimaria
Amari could not help but notice how the strange looking stones wrapped around one of her paws resembled the brilliant hue of her eyes, he moved to press his face against hers, a soft purr ever present in his voice as he spoke. "They match your eyes." He said, moving to lick at one of her golden ears.

He briefly wondered where she had found such strange objects and nuzzling at her once more, pulled away briefly to ask the question. "So where did you find these strange stones?" His eyes brimming with curiosity.

BurstBubble
Maawio looked up with her large eyes sureveying Amaris muscular figure. She reclined , still nuzzling his neck as she picked out the memories of that playful wild dog. "There was a wilddog, i have met her before, her name is Mataka." She paused, remembering just how hyper that little thing was, well, not exactly small, she was the same age as her. "She found these strange atrifacts and thought they would make a nice gift." She looked to her ear, and the cuff around the bottom part glinted in the sun.

"Mahiri said that Bakhti has some also." She nodded thoughtfully.

Kimaria
Amari leaned against her a little, enjoying the feel of his muscles as they began to relax and loosen up from his trek back to the pridelands. It was warm here but the temperature differed greatly from that of the jungle and he missed the humidity of the place.

"I've never met many of those." He said slowly, referring to Mataka. "They sound generous to me." He grinned and nuzzled at her once more, nudging at her side playfully with an extended paw. "They suit you." Then he pulled himself to his paws and circled her, nudging at her enticingly with the side of his face.

"So what has been happening in these parts lately?" He asked with a purr, arching his back in a playful bow.

BurstBubble
Maawio smiled again, and nodded at the thought of Mataka. "Yah, although, shes quite hyper..." She giggled to herself. "Thanks," She murmured, blushing and looking down at the beads that adorned her paws in a bright fashion. They did indeed match her eyes.

She yawned a little and stretched her paws out whilst staying close to Amari. "Not much, really, Its pretty quite, especially since some lions left to go on a journey, with Sukutu etc." She paused again. "Hows Bakhti?"

Kimaria
"Sounds tiring to me." He grinned, not too sure whether he would like to befriend a hyper pup. His ears curved forwards to full attention, noticing the slight embarassment his comments brought out on her. He found it extremely endearing that such a beautiful female could be so modest.

"Ahh so they finally left then?" He blinked his eyes slowly, tilting his head upwards to glance at the sky, it's waves of colours consuming the once cool blue. It was strange, but living in the jungle had made him forget just how beautiful the sky could be, the trees constantly keeping it out of view.

"Bakhti is getting better, she smiles a lot more and the jungle is not as empty as we had anticipated." He paused, his whiskers twitching in thought, "it's crawling with leopards and other such things, and the food there is plentiful...but..." He paused and tapped at her shoulder with the pads of his paws. "there isn't many lionesses there and a guy does get lonely."

BurstBubble
Maawios eyes widening as he commented about Sukutu. "Yes....I miss him, and I miss you, of course." She smiled. "Im glad you came to visit..." She licked her paw again, trying to rid it off the blood, before cocking her head. "Im glad shes feeling better, she must feel pretty down at the moment though..." She remembered one of the occasions before, and shuddered a little, before turning to laugh at the typical male lion. "Maybe I could take a stroll?" She blinked as the sun glared into her eyes.

Kimaria
"I should think it is strange to say farewell to a brother who has been around for so long. I believe he has promised to return for visits though, or have I been mis-informed?" It had been a while since he had spoken with the older male, and Sukutu was probably the only other male that Amari truly liked.

"I'm glad to hear it princess, because I missed you too." His eyes sparked with life and he smiled somewhat softly, "I couldn't stay away much longer."

He nodded slowly at the thought of his older sister, she wa sback at the jungle but it seemed they had many visitors now a days...all males sadly. He had tended to stay away, not wanting to get involved and had watched from a distance. "She'll do fine, time is the best healer." He yawned and shook his head once more.

"Visit whenever you want little Miss." He grinned, and turned to pad softly across the ground, eyes scanning the area.

Kimaria
The young juvenile had a bounce in his step, paws springing across the ground as he went, tail swinging out behind his somewhat bulky form. The small tuft of mane that usually hung in his eyes now blew behind his ears, a fresh breeze tickling at his fur and cooling him.

His ears twitched forwards as he heard voices, other lions maybe? Quickening his pace he pushed his rusty form through the tall grass, eyes settling upon the water hole and upon a rather large collection of lions. His eyes widened further at the sight of a large blue male and a green female, as well as Bakhti.

He roared a welcome and trotted over.

Seth Napthan
The females ears pricked up at the sound of Amaris roar. She smiled revealing herself and following the youngster trotted over to the strange coloured lion and now a green female as well. She was rather cautious of the two but maybe she would look stronger with Amari though he was younger.

Spores
Neema heard another lion approaching, and turned her head to look at him. Nobody else seemed to be like her, or this blue male; they all seemed naturally-coloured, and rather.. well.. normal.
Frowning with confusion, she moved to hide behind Balamwezi, seeing him as some kind of protector.

koolkittenclub
eek Balamwezi gets up and dusts off the muck on his coat.
"Hello Neema, uhh well sure why not?" he smiles as he shakes off the rest of the dirt. He looks down, then in the corner of his eye he spots a lioness hiding between the tall blades of grass. He sniffs around trying to get her scent, then lifts up a paw to wave to the lioness and shouts across "hello there im Balamwezi,"

Kimaria
Why was the green female hiding? Amari didn't quite know, but surely she couldn't be afraid of them, she was older and he was nothing to fear. It made him feel a little uncomfortable that a female would be afraid of him.

He nuzzled against Bakhti as she walked beside him and paused infront of the strangers, sitting back and regarding them with interest.

"Hello there." He spoke, a tothy grin spreading across his maw.

Lethrossen
Asikari lay a while off, upon a large rock. Not so far off that he couldn't see the going-ons of the waterhole, though. His gaze trailed over the lions there, lingering a moment on the two odd-balls. He smirked, raising a brow. If he was correct he could just make out the wench and Amari.

His tail flicked lightly, eyes half lidded, for now he would just watch. He shifted, gaze flicking back to the sky, a soft purr rumbling through him; he was enjoying the sun right now. Why bother trying to socialize with some idiots?

Spores
Neema smiled, feeling slightly more confident that she had made a friend. Trotting towards Eusifita, she took the Ratel in her mouth and carried him towards Balamwezi.

Casting a glance at Amari, she dropped her familiar.
"Hey, I'm Neema! Want to be friends?"

Lightning Shadow X
The adolescent lay under a tree nearby, his ears twitching carefully from side to side as the commotion made him wake up from his nap, he had been taking a lot of naps recently, another downside of being a teen he supposed.
As he opened his pale eyes he looked over to see a dark blue male...and...a dark green female??? One of his eyebrows raised strangely, he had to shake his head to make sure he wasn't seeing things before he yanwed and closed his eyes softly, mumbling as he did.
"That is...no more rotten gazelle corpses for me..."
He yawned again, showing of his yellowish fangs that where tinted with eating bloody flesh, however, he was once again awoken by a familiar voice and looked up to look over at Amari and Bahtki.

Seth Napthan
Bakhti smiled as Amari nuzzled him and then sat down in front of the strange coloured lions. She guessed they were from somewhere different in a pride or something and not freaks. She smiled as the male spoke to her and just nodded in return.

She looked at the green female and stood up walking over to her, "Hello. We mean you no harm. I am Bakhti and that is my little brother Amari!" Though Bakhti and Amari weren't related she liked the thought of him being her younger brother.

Spores
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Bahkti. As you may have heard me say, my name is Neema." The lioness bowed her head, smiling softly.
Everyone seemed so welcoming, especially since Neema knew she wasn't normal; she was nothing like the other lionesses, or lions, for that matter. Still, the introduction from the Lioness who she had just spoken to had granted her with the knowledge of the name of the lion who had roared to them.

Kimaria
"Hey Neema." Amari purred, eyes catching the sun that gleamed from her emeral fur. "You truly seem to be a rare treasure." He beamed, the flirtacious glint returning to his eyes.

The male turned to glance at Bakhti, glad that their friendship had increased over the days they had spent together, she was a wonderful female and had the most kindest heart.

koolkittenclub
Balamwezi was surprised at the reaction that he'd gotten from the rest of the lions, for himself and Neema they where normally coloured. If anything they where the ones that where odly coloured. He ment the lions no harm too. He looks down at Amari and sees that she is wearing a necklace and bracelet.
"how did you come by of those... strange objects?"

Spores
Kimaria
"Why thank you, Amari.. You are quite special yourself." Neema felt her cheeks grow hotter as the compliment replayed in her mind. Looking away from Amari's eyes, she chose instead to examine her ebony paws. Dust seemed to have accumulated on her fur, so the female licked at it hastily, before sitting on the grass.

Lethrossen
"Bloody 'ell.." he grumbled, pulling himself to his four paws, stretching upon the rock with a groan. He lept off gracefully enough, swaggering walk headed their way. Maybe he could stir up some fun. He shifted, ear flicking. Or get a drink; he was thirsty.

He shot a few glanced over the colored lions, not being able to help himself. They were just so.. odd. He snuffed and glanced away, yawning.

Lightning Shadow X
Seeing as these two where obviously real, Sukutu stood up and stretched his long limbs, his eyes lids half open and droopy after just waking up before he slowly trotted over towards them, his red gem giving a small sparkle after he had cleaned it with his rough tongue.
As he approached, he marveled at the two's wonderous coats, one as green as an emerald, the other as blue and a blueberry.
He cleared his throat and placed a small smile on his maw.
"Hey.." He said cheerfully, his tail swinging behind him from side to side.

Seth Napthan
Bakhti rolled her eyes at Amari and nudged him coughing the words Maawio. She smiled at the male happily showing her necklace and bracelet. "I found them.." Which was true and she guessed there were plenty more in the jungle that place was strange!

She looked to the lion and the lioness smiling, "You been round here long?" She asked sitting down again where she could see them both clearly and Amari. She felt it was her duty to make sure he didn't flirt too much.

Kimaria
He grinned a little at the lioness reaction to his compliment but was quickly knocked from his thoughts as Bakhti reminded him of the one golden lioness he had become greatly fond of. With a dejected sigh he turned his gaze away, eyes falling upon...

coffee lion.

He sighed and once again tilted his head upwards to get the mane away from his eyes, then with a slow gait he moved over to where the other male stood. "Hey there, not found any friends yet then?" He teased.

Spores
Neema felt somewhat overwhelmed by the lions that were approaching. There were so many of them, all seeming to have naturally-coloured coats, fur that resembled the colourings of the earth.
Soon realising she'd been asked a question, she cast a wary gaze at Sukutu before returning her eyes to Bakhti.
"No, I've only been here for about a day.. My my, your decorations are rather beautiful. They suit your fur," Neema began slowly, smiling. If they were commonplace, maybe she could find some for herself? But not now.. She had lots more greeting to do.

Seth Napthan
Bakhti looked at Suku and smiled and then turned to see what Amari was doin with him. She didn't know the lions name but she just rolled her eyes and turned back to the strangely coloured lions in front of her, "Be weary of that one. He is a troublemaker" She spoke seariously and the calmness in her voice had gone as she stood up and went to nuzzle Suku and then went back to the two new lions.

Lethrossen
He didn't stupid when rust-bucket approached, he sneered a little though. "Friends 'oo aren't worth my time, eh? No, I do be friendless, not tha' thas annee of yer business, mm?" He rolled his eyes, glancing to Amari.

It was obvious he didn't like being teased, easily he could do the teasing. just not recieve it. Oh once he learned of amari's taste for the female's he'd be throwing back some witty comments of his own.. though they probably wouldn't bother Amari anyhow.

Spores
Neema began padding towards Asikari, examining him with interest, inhaling his scent before returning to her previous spot, choosing to watch him silently. He certainly was interesting..

Kimaria
Amari looked a little taken aback by his comment and tilted his head quizzically, how could one not have any friends...and like it that way? What kind of lifestyle was that to lead? One that was empty and pointless that was for sure.

"Are you sure you only say that because you don't know what it's like to have them?" His grin widened and he sighed, glancing over at the collection of lions. He hadn't realised Suku was here...he just hoped that Bakhti would be okay.

"What if I made it my business, eh?" He replied to Asi, with a swish of his tail. He wasn't quite sure what it was about this male, perhaps he was just a source of entertainment, or purely because annoying this male made his day whole...whatever it was he couldn't help but feel a bit sorry for him.

Lightning Shadow X
Suku just gave a fond smile at his beloved friend as he was nuzzled and gave her a small nudge back before he sat down and watched the two newcomers chat, his ears then swivveled towards Asikari and he smirked before standing next to Amari.
"Ohhh so it's the little trouble maker again hmm?"
Yes, he remembered this once, back chatting and everything, he gave Amari a greeting nod before turning back to the little coffee coloured lion.

koolkittenclub
Balamwezi sways his tail from side to side saying hello to every lion that greeted him with a huge smile.
"Umm not here very long Bakhti only just arrived, apparently we're different, and special" he grins.

Seth Napthan
Bakhti smiled and nudging the male she smiled and trotted over to Suku and Amari. She wondered how cheeky the coffee lion would be with this many other around him. She sat the other side of Sukutu she liked to be close to him though she knew he had some one. She didn't show in anyway that she had any feelings for him.

She looked over at the green lioness and then the blue male trying to get them both to come over and find out what this Asi was like. She didn't like him, hate was to strong a word but greatly dislike fitted well.

Lethrossen
Asi raised a brow at Neema, body tensing and he took a step away, then let himself relaxe when she retreated. He'd gotten to the water's edge and leaned down to lap some water, then turned his gaze back to Amari. He frowned slowly, ears lowering.

"Ah, 'ell then if yer wannit ter be yer business then.." he shrugged slowly, gaze flicking to Suku. "Least I dun terrorize lil'animals.." He shook his head slowly. "Wha' doyer two want, eh?" getting a little jumpy. tense, was he? Yes, in fact, he was. His tail flicked at a quicker-than-normal pace, slowly sitting upon his slender haunches.

Spores
Neema frowned, feeling pity for the coffee-coloured lion. Moving closer to him, she watched the exchange between the males, before turning her head to look at Bakhti.

"Why don't they like him?" she murmured quietly, not wanting anyone else to hear her. This 'Asi' lion didn't seem so bad, just a little.. anti-social.

Kimaria
Amari twitched his head up to glance briefly at the older male, a nervous smile on his maw at the sight of Maawio's adopted brother. "Hey Suku...and yes I think he's following me." He grinned, "He want's some tips on getting girls." The male chuckled and shook his head slowly, eyes brightening with amusement.

He couldn't help but notice Asi's nervousness around a large group, was that the problem? Was he just a bit shy? He tilted his head and took a small step away. It wouldn't do to crowd him especially when he was so intent on unravelling this lion and discovering why he acted to weird.

Seth Napthan
Bakhti smiled at her, "Its because he is so cheeky and knows how to get on your nerves. Him and Amari have been a fight before and he sticks up for food." She would never forget when he got in the way of her hunting with a lion she could now hardly remember.

Spores
Neema blinks, moving to stand beside Asi. Obviously not knowing why the other lions had such a hateful nature towards him, she frowned. Turning her head towards the male's she smiled lightly.
"You look lonely.. Need a friend? I'll stand by you."

koolkittenclub
Balamwezi saw all of the lions crowd round Asi, he felt sorry for the little fellow, so he pattered his paws and walked over to sit next to him.

Lightning Shadow X
The smirk grew more on his face at the comment, terrorizing? Don't tell me a big yawn from him was enough to scare this juvenille? He let out a faint chuckle at Amari's words before smiling at Bahtki and the green lioness, Neema was it? Yes he was sure that was it.
"Hey I'm sorry 'bout that...I just yawned I didn't know you'd be scared of me..."
He really wasn't a bad guy, another stretch escaped him as his red gem jingled slightly as it flicked with the movement of his neck.

Seth Napthan
Bakhti watched the male and female back up Asi. Would he let them though? They were both older then everyone else here but by a rough guess they had pratically no experiance around other lions especially the female. She looked at Suku and Amari before laying on the ground ready to pounce if needed but for somereason she couldn't see Asi hiding. "Awww does the little coffee rat thing need protectors now?" She smiled flashing her white teeth at him.

Lethrossen
"Girls?" he scoffed, it was easy to hear most of what was going on. "Yer do be bloody mad if yer think I follow yew 'round, especially fer tha' reason.." He eyes Neema suspiciously! Doesn't know help when it sits right next to him. Silly boy.

"Light, i shoulda stayed where I was, eh? Can no even get a drink with out being 'arrassed by a bunch a' rejects." He snorted, standing slowly, god how he wanted to back up. He didn't care to get wet, though.

Amari did have some grasp that large crowds did make him nervous, hell so did small crowds. He snorted and let out a low growl, looking at Bakhti "I did be stickin' up fer a friend yew moron." If he was a human-child he might be sticking out his tounge at this point.

He let out a slightly larger breath, inching closer to Neema; perhaps he did know safety when it sat right next to him, Balamwezi too. A cheeky grin started to form upon his mug, regardless he was nervous. He could probably be a little more offending with two adult lions sitting to either side of him..

best not push it though. He blinked at Bakhti's comment, glared at the two older lions. He didn't need protection from them! What did she know. "Aye, 'oo says I do be needin' purrtection? They do be jus' sittin' nexter me, eh?" He sneered.

Spores
Neema smiled encouragingly.
"See? It's not so hard, making friends, is it?"
She pawed his maw gently, before settling herself on the grass, wondering where her familiar, Eusi, had got to. Spotting her seeking solace beneath the shade of a rock, Neema continued to watch the rest of the lions.

Kimaria
Amari checked his temper, and then again, shifting his weight and moving back. Best to retreat for now and tak to him when there wasn't so many others around, he was thirsty any way.

He moved away, lowering his head to the water and lapping thirstily, pink tongue flicking out to capture the moisture. Droplets beaded on his whiskers and muzzle, and the tips of his mane dangled into the water as he leaned over. Then with a shake of his head he took a few steps back, trembling as the cold water caught on his fur.

Seth Napthan
She laughed at him and snarled a little, "If you didn't need protecting then why have you been keeping a distance. Scared are we?" She smiled carefully watching the two older lions. She was sure now that if she needed she could take on the female. After all she had got herself into a fight with a adult female before and she was from teh firekin pride so this female would be easy.

koolkittenclub
"there is no reason for none of us not to get along with eachother" He says lolling about in the dirt "we've all got to live here together whether you like it or not, we cant just all gang up on a poor little chap on his own."

Spores
Neema eyed Bakhti cautiously. The lioness had been so welcoming before, but now Neema wanted to befriend Asi, it seemed as though that kind nature had disappeared. It was at this point that the emerald-coloured female began to regard all of the lions with an air of suspicion; were they all pretending to be welcoming?

Seth Napthan
Bakhti didn't bother waiting for Asi to reply she turned to walk off. He wasn't worth her time and if those other lions had a brain they would also leave that lion alone. She did though turn back to the blue male. "If that little thing knows best I wont live near him. I have my home and we dont all live together. You will see." She then turned wondering if Suku would also leave the stupid lion alone.

Lightning Shadow X
The adolescent just watched everything go out of disaray, watching Bahtki stare at Neema after being so welcoming just before, Amari needing to walk away for a drink just to get out of a fight and this little whelp being just as bratty as before.
His brow furrowed before he stood up and walked over to Asi', circling him before he gently took the juvenille by the scruff of the neck and walked over the waterhole.
"Escoose meh fo' a bit" He mumbled while his mouth was full of fur, he was going to teach this cub a lesson even if he didn't want it.

Lethrossen
Asi squeaked as he was picked up. Squeaked! Then he bagan to flail about, what the hell was he doing? "W...wha' are yew doin'?" He shouted, trying to twist around and inflict some hurt on Suru. This was a lot different when he'd gotten in the fight with Amari, at least he'd had a bit of a chance then.

"Pu' me down yer bloody fool.. yew le'go right now!" He was shouting at the top of his lungs, needless to say his voice was a little higher pitched than normal.

Spores
Neema turned to Balamwezi, moving towards him and licking his mane.
"Us two should stick together," she began. "Being different, and all."

Noticing Suku taking a juvenile for a dip in the watering hole, the emerald female arched a brow.

Kimaria
Amari's eyes widened and he stepped back almost fearfully, afraid partly of what Suku planned to do with the juvenile and also of being splashed by water. "H-hey, what are you gonna do?" He asked, momentarily cursing the stutter in his voice. Was such an action really going to help the annoying male overcome his fear of others?

His heart quickened as he saw the juvenile wriggling to get free, he was going to get wet. "Suku do you really think thats necessary?"

Lightning Shadow X
The adolescent just let out a small growl before his paws touched the icy water and he plopped Asikari in with him, he then kept a steady hold of the juvenille before licking the young ones head, he was...cleaning him?
"You are gonna learn some manners right now and try to be social...and to start things of...your gonna have a bath..."
His voice was very stern, almost like a father as his rough sandpaper tongue continued to lick and clean the coffee coloured juvenilles fur in the coolness of the water.

koolkittenclub
Balamwezi shuffles closer to neema, and licks her head. "we should, this place seems scary, alot of.. ..odd lions around, we seem the only sane in this place"

Seth Napthan
Bakhti turned around and laughed as she saw Suku taking the coffee coloured thing away. She decided now was the time to talk to the newcommers and tell them some things about this place.

As she walked back over to them she smiled again as she had done when she met them. "I am sorry if I have scared you or freaked you out or anything. That lion has made things hard for me ever since I came here and thats why I act how I do. He makes things difficult for alot of lions and as far as I know he has no friends because he doesnt want them." She stopped talking and looked back over at Suku rolling her eyes. "This place isnt safe, lions can be decietful and some are just plain evil. I live in the jungle with Amari and I must say you would both fit in well if you cared to visit. Your colours would work well to your advantage where as I stick out a little there." She stopped talking there, smiled and trotted over to Sukutu.

Neema watched Sukutu bathe Asikari, her brow raising even higher.
"What are you doing?" she asked, creeping closer to the water's edge and watching the adolescent, transfixed by the whole idea. These lions were pretty odd -- rather like herself, she thought -- but they certainly made for interesting watching.

Feeling sorry for Asikari's sudden bath, the lioness turned to Amari.
"Does he know what he's doing?" she asked.

Lethrossen
Suddenly icey water flooded into his mouth, he was still yelling all types of things; curses, threts; nothing seemed to be working. He pluttered, his shouts cut off as he sat mostly covered by the water, head bobbing foward as Suru's tounge began licking at his fur.

He looked stunned to say the least, then twisted and batted a paw at Suru's face "Gerroff me! I dun need annee manners and i do no need friends or social manners!" He hissed, suddenly tried to jerk himself free of the other.

He pouted and finally sat still, looking rather sour. He was dirty, he last bath had been quite a few days ago. In the waterfall.. that had been fun because he'd gotten to play with that other male.. he huffed. "Yer an idiot.." he mumbled.

Kimaria
Amari was watching the "bath-time session" in wide-eyed horror, suddenly glad that it wasn't him in there. If he feared anything it would have been water, and he was suddenly glad the strange green lioness had approached him.

He shrugged his shoulders a little and took another step back, a shiver running down his spine. "I don't know, perhaps the sun has gotten to him." He muttered, moving closer to her side as if by doing so he would be protected.

At Asi's reaction to the whole experience however he couldn't help but smile before once again tilting his head up to the green female. "So how come you have strange coloured fur?" He asked.

Lightning Shadow X
Sukutu just looked at the juvenille and rolled his eyes before continuing to clean him, damn this kid was filthy, as he was batted in the face he just gave a small blink and continued, nothing would stop this boy.
At his comment he looked at him and just smirked before ruffling the boys small tuft of mane with his huge paw.
"Hmmph...takes one to know one kid..."
He was almost acting like a father or an older brother, but he never really acted this way around Maawio because she was such a sweet little female, this kid however could hurt a Rhino's feelings.

Spores
Neema shook her head, shrugging slightly.
"I honestly don't know.. I was just born this way. I've been a rogue for quite some time now, heh.. No prides really wanted me back when I was a cub, so I just wandered. Now, I'm here. Gee. Way to ramble, huh?"

Feeling slightly sheepish, she closed her mouth and stopped rambling, smiling apologetically.

koolkittenclub
Balamwezi looks around to see what a mad place this was, this was his new home and it seemed very odd. Hopefully he would beable to stick next to Neema who seems to understand him, she was so pretty, the bright green was so different to everyone else, with her honey coloured eyes, it seemed that Balamwezi was in love, but he knew deep down that Neema probably wouldnt think the same to him.

Lethrossen
His breathing was coming in larger breaths, still the pout was on his face. He growled. "Im clean enough now geroff meeeee." He whined, tugging again, experimentally at Suru's hold on him. He looked like he was about to start crying; if lions cried. Or have a panic attack or something.

"Yer a freakin' arsehole.." he snarled, staring moodily down at the water. Where he picked up language like that was anyone's guess!

Seth Napthan
Bakhti watched the events and sighed as she laid down away from the other lions. She suddenly felt very lonley though she stayed as she would normally looking very interested in the water event though her mind was elsewhere. She longed to be back in her jungle and wished to leave soon, Amari was busy and Sukutu was very busy so she couldn't see much reason to stay.

Kimaria
Amari chuckled, eyes sparkling as they caught the stray beams of sunlight. He rather liked the green female, it seemed she liked to talk and of the short time he knew her she seemed to be extremely friendly.

"It's okay don't worry about it." He tilted his head upwards to the sky and sighed, "I like your fur." He continued, "it's very pretty, I bet you would do well in the jungle. I've kinda adopted the place as my home for now, it's so nice there and it's always really warm." He gave a toothy grin, curling his tufted tail around him. "You should visit me and my sis sometime." He indicated Bakhti with a tilt of his head, "she may seem a bit gruff but she has had a lot on her mind recently. She's really very sweet, just a bit of a temper."

He giggled and shifted once more.

Lightning Shadow X
"And you're gonna be underwater with anymore of that talk!!"
He said in a half roar, but quickly regained his calm speech, after a quick check to see he was clean he picked the juvenille up by the scruff once more and trotted out of the water.
This may not teach him to be social but it would hopefully tell the boy that this was not all the adolescent would do if he didn't behave, as he got to the edge of the waterhole he plopped the boy down on the ground and then smirked.
"There...that wasn't so bad now was it?" He was expecting the worst type of language to come out next, but cleaning him was more then enough to do, at least he didn't smell bad as Nukie.

Spores
"Your sister said exactly the same thing to me," Neema replied with a slight giggle. "Do you think Balamwezi could come, too?"
The female gave a warm smile to the male, feeling very warm and satisfied, almost feeling as though she was beginning to love him; but Neema wasn't one to go rushing into things -- although her first encounter with him would beg to differ, -- and instead she felt as though she would wait to see if he felt the same.

Lethrossen
He looked like a drowned rat. "That bit!" He hissed, scampering quite a few feet away from Suru, shaking out his paws, tail flicking angrily. "Go ter Hell" He shouted at Suru, then picked up his pace as he headed away, his heart was racing, and he certainly wouldn't be causing any more problems around Suru.

What did he think he was? Asi's father or something? Asi stumbled a little at that thought and he huffed, trying to shake out more of his fur. Then he glanced back, he should roll around in the dirt just to spite Suru. He didn't though.

Lightning Shadow X
As he watched the juvenille run of he couldn't help but let out a small laugh, well at least he'd taught him a lesson, poor kid, he almost felt sorry for him, but he had it coming.
His eyes then wandered over to Amari and he winked at him, shaking his fur of some of the excess water.
"I showed him didn't I?"
He had to admit, it was a bit cruel of him to do that, but mess with older lions or his friends and he was surely asking for trouble.

koolkittenclub
Balamwezi's ears pricked up as he heard his name been said by Neema, he looked deeply into her eyes, they looked like deep pools of honey which shimmered in the sun, one could easily get lost gazing into them... day dreaming along he had forgotten what she'd said, but knodded along anyway.

Kimaria
Amari eyed the large rogue male, not wanting to show that he wasn't too keen on the idea of sharing his little piece of heaven with another male. He was trying to learn to accept them for Maawio's sake and after a moment of silence he agreed. "Of course he can come, he's your friend and I'm sure he'd like it there too."

He stretched himself and glanced over at the water, it seemed bath-time was just about over - thank goodness for that.

Seth Napthan
Bakhti watched the lions from where she lay. Her head now laid on her paws as she sighed. Suku looked as if he had just had quite a bit of fun. She slowly got up and padded over to Amari, "Amari I am gonna head off back." She forced a smile as she turned trying hard not to look at suku as things seemed to be bothering her again.

Spores
Neema beckoned for him to approach her, her own eyes soon becoming lost in his; the deep crimson colour of his eyes was simply enchanting, and Neema adored the colour they shimmered in the light..
Soon snapping back to reality, she tore her eyes away from Balamwezi and nodded graciously at Amari, before waiting for her beautiful blue companion.

Lightning Shadow X
Sukutu quickly came and stretched before shaking the water off, he liked water but only when he was feeling the nice squelch of mud between his toes, and personaly, cleaning that cub had put a very bad taste in his mouth.
"Glah!" He let out, his tongue lolling out of his mouth as he spat some of the taste onto the ground. "That kid has got to groom more...he tastes like the rear end of a warthog!"
He then yawned before looking to Amari again and smiling, he was really a good kid, Maawio was lucky to have him.

Kimaria
Amari turned his attention once again to Suku and nodded slowly, "yeah you sure did..but uh...don't go getting any ideas about bathing me." He shifted away a little as the older male was a bit wet, knocking into the green femme's side as he did so.

He then turned sadly to Bakhti and nodded very slowly, "Okay, I'll catch up with you later sis."

koolkittenclub
Balamwezi follows Neema and Amari, "what about your sister.. Bakhti? are you going to leave her on her own Amari?"
Balamwezi moves a little closer to Neema he can now smell her scent, so pretty and sweet, like a summers day.

Spores
(( Shall we continue the roleplay here, or move to the jungle in the guild? ))

Neema nuzzled Balamwezi affectionately, feeling connected with him not only because of the colour of his fur, but because it was impossible not to be incredibly fond of him. Licking his maw, Neema suddenly felt rather shy, but disregarded her sudden coy feelings and instead sat and stared at the grass.

koolkittenclub
Balamezi gazed at Neema day dreaming of what they could be, when Neema sat in the grass he wondered what he'd done wrong, whether she loved him or Amari, he flattened his ears as he thought of the sorrow if she wouldnt be his and blinked hard not to show any tears. He sat beside Neema and rubed against her side to show that he was there for her.

Lightning Shadow X
Suku just gave Amari a friendly wink and yawned softly, gently mussing the juvenilles hair playfully.
"Don' worry...I only did that to him because he was asking for it..."
His eyes then wandered over to Bahtki and gave a friendly smile before he yawned and jumped up onto a rock.
"I'm just gonna chill out here...all this excitement...has made me want another nap..."

Kimaria
Amari yawned from where he lay on his back on a flat rock that jutted up and into view above the long surrounding grass. A light breeze ruffled through the beginnings of his mane and blew it out of his eyes for a moment and he yawned once more, rolling from the rock and landing on his paws on the dusty ground.

He paused for a moment, glancing around briefly as he decided on what to do next, deep brown eyes fixing upon a beetle scuttling through the grass. A playful smirk crossed his face and making sure no one was there to watch him he lowered himself in a playful bow and reached out to tap the defenceless creature with an outstretched paw, a rumbling but squeaky roar emanating from parted jaws.

Baneful
Masuka lay asleep beneath the sprawled, scrub-like leaves of a tree, not too far from where Amari wandered. She was stretched out across the ground, chin resting gently in the dust, hind legs tucked up neatly beneath her. She dreamt fleetingly, of times gone by, of her ex pride, of her family and sisters. It made her want to wake up, and every now and then, her tail would twitch spasmodically as she found with herself to just wake up and get free from the horrid dreams.

She remained, as yet unaware of the other lion nearby.

Kimaria
Amari felt strange, Amari felt energetic, Amari felt like a cub again! He leapt upwards, body twisting in his excitement as he leapt to block the beetle's path and extended his paw to tap at it again. This time the shiny creature rolled onto its back so that the six fat legs worked madly in the air.

He watched it for a moment, eyes following the erratic movement before he unsheathed his claws and slipped them beneath the insect, flipping it up into the air and watching as it sailed up and up before falling once more.

Luckily as it fell it landed upright and continued its mad dash across the ground. It was as the young juvenile was chasing after it that he heard something and then saw something twitch in the dust. A tail? A very pale one that stuck out vibrantly against the dust. So who did it belong to? He snuffled noisily, inhaling dust and sneezing violently before moving over to investigate.

Baneful
Masuka stirred a little more in her sleep, being slowly drawn out of her dream by the movement and sound in the area around her. As the horrible image of her mother lunging at her faded from veiw once and for all, her blue eyes flickered open, looking around at nothing for the time being as her mind caught up with them.

Reaching up with a paw, she felt the scars across her left eye, yes, they were still there, she hadn't gone back in time. It was a releif to know.

As her dream became but a memory, she rested her chin once more on the ground, letting out a releived sigh, her tail flicking once again. Having just woken up however, she was not at her most alert and didn't notice Amari very close by.

Kimaria
A female! A very pretty and rare coloured lioness for this area too. He glanced about to make sure no other was nearby before he stooped his head and crept forwards. She was older than him by far which fazed his hopes of perhaps being able to flirt with her but he supposed that was for the best. He didn't want to upset Maawio again.

With a small smile he sat back on his rump, tail hanging in the air and swaying slightly from side to side. His eyes trailed along her pale form and settled on the scars that lined one eye. Had she been in some sort of fight?

"Hey there." He spoke cheerfully, "you awake?" He teased, tilting his head to one side, round ears swivelling forwards to attention.

Baneful
Masuka got a bit of a fright as the other spoke, but said nothing at all to show this, only a sudden twitch of her muscles was the outward sign of this surprise, she had successfully once again suppressed her urge to lash out or snarl... progress eh?

She turned her sleek head to face the other, her forelegs still crossed before her relaxed form, dappled light making her pelt colour seem uneven and dappled. Taking in his every detail, she smiled, many of the lions around these parts seemed to have clay-like coloured fur, perfect for disguise against the rich soil, this particular male was a shining example of that disguise she felt.

In her silky smooth voice she replied "Yes, I'm awake, was just napping in this heat. Not a fan of the bright daylight."

Kimaria
He noticed her slight twitchiness and leaned back in his sitting position to glance at her. She was a pretty lioness that was for sure and it wasn't often he saw one such as herself.

Her voice was distinctively feminine and his eyes brightened at hearing the smooth tone, yet how could one not like the sun? He adored its brilliant rays and the way it warmed him through and through.

"The sun is a wonderful thing." He purred, eyes closing briefly as he moved forward to stretch himself, rusty coloured fur glowing an almost deep orange in hue. "Suits me just fine." He blinked, "so how come you're here all alone?"

Baneful
"The sun may be wonderful, but for a hunter of my colouring it brings nothing but attention and sunburn." she said somewhat wryly, giving the other a somewhat apologetic grin.

She had never truly got what most creatures liked about the sun, her eyes served her well enough at night, and day was a good time to rest weary muscles in the warm.

In response to his final question she replied "I'm mostly alone, always have been, most likely always will be. I have a few friends around here, but not many, and not ones who are always with me. Besides, I could ask the same thing of you."

She gave him a warm grin, almost understanding why he liked the sun so much, his colours so very rich and warm.

Kimaria
"Sunburn?" His snout wrinkled in distaste at such an idea and he could not help but glance upwards at the sky, he had never thought about the sun burning anything, especially not a lion. He shook his head and returned his attention to the lioness, feeling somewhat sorry for her.

"Being alone isn't much fun." He agreed after a moment, "if you ever need a friend then call on me, I'd be happy to hang out with you." He gave a toothy grin and his eyes brightened. "Oh, I'm just on my way to meet a certain girl, I don't plan on being alone for much longer." He sighed softly, thoughts returning to his sweet Maawio. It had been a long time since they had last met up with each other and he was beginning to miss her very badly indeed.

"So who are these friends of yours? Anyone I know?" He had also been secretly hunting for his sister, having been a bit worried about her since they had split up in the jungle.

Baneful
"Yes, sunburn. It's not fun, and stings like hell." She grimaced at the memory of last time she had strayed into the sun too long, she had singed the delicate skin around her nose and lips, which bothered her for weeks.

"Being alone is okay, I suppose, not much to bother you, but of course, if I'm ever in need of someone to talk to and you are around then I'll come to you for a bit of a chat. Thanks for the offer." She stated calmly, her tone the usual sort of semi-interested purr. She could be listening intently to the most intruiging conversation in the world and still sound like an impartial observer.

"Charming the ladies already I see." she added to his comment about Maawio, giving him a mischevious smile.

"My friends are Bakhti, Asi and the little cub, I have yet to encounter any other adults in these vast lands."

Kimaria
He flicked his ears back and gave a mischievious smile, pressing a paw against his chest as he took in the comment about charming the ladies as it were. "I try my best, although now I'm with Maawio it doesn't give me much of a chance to get too close to any other females." He snorted before continuing. "Being alone is okay...but a bit boring. I prefer to be around others...although not so much of the male half of the species." His eyes darkened a little but he instantly snapped out of these thoughts as he heard the names being spoken.

"You know Bakhti!" He squeaked, leaping up onto all fours and glancing around as if expecting her to come running. "She's my sister...well adopted sister, we're not exactly related or anything. I'm so glad she's okay, we were seperated a while back due to those spotty leopard things." He made an irritated face and then sighed. "Asi..." He chuckled, "well isn't he just one of the happiest lions you've ever met." He beamed, thinking back to their encounter not too long ago. They had managed to sort things out and had atleast managed to be around each other without fighting too much. He sort of missed the male in all honesty.

Baneful
Masuka listened intently to the other's words, nodding sagely, she too didn't get along with adult males well at all, being that the ones she had come across were vicious, conceited and foul. She said nothing of this however, choosing instead to focus on the male's reaction to her little list of friends.

"Yep, I know Bakhti, have spoken to her many times since I arrived here, she is a lovely individual. And as far as I can tell, she is completely unharmed after your little seperation, glad I could bring you at least a little good news." she flicked her tail contentedly, stunned by how these lands seemed so interlinked, lots of family ties, blood or otherwise, and general amiability.

"Ah well, Asi is actually a pretty pleasant individual once one gets to know him, at least I think so. Perhaps that was just because my brother was much the same when he was younger and I could speak to him no matter what his moods."

Kimaria
Amari watched his own tail as it swayed from side to side as if it belonged not to him but to some sort of prey animal. A look of complete concentration laced through his features but he still kept one ear directed towards the lioness.

He reached up with one paw and pressed it quickly against his tail, trapping it beneath the pads of his paw and locked into place against the ground.

"I'm glad she's okay, although I never doubted it, she's a great hunter so there's no way she'd starve or lose in a fight." His nose wrinkled at that thought. He was a terrible hunter himself which made him partially glad that he had many friends who could hunt but when it came to fighting...even the youngster had his own experience with that.

"Me and Asi...well we're quite different personality wise but we're also quite alike." He sighed and released his tail, watching as it continued to thud gently against the ground. "We got into a bit of a scrap back when we first met, but the more I saw him the less and less I hated him." He shrugged. "I guess he's okay."

He then seemed to realise that he hadn't yet gotten around to introducing himself, that wasn't like him at all! "I'm Amari by the way."

Baneful
Masuka looked on with interest as Amari seemed to "hunt" his own tail, a smile calmly set upon her face. She wasn't even sure if he knew he was doing it, but she thought it funny nonetheless.

"Yes, she is quite the fighter, keeps herself in one piece, which is definately something around here." Masuka respected those who hunted well, and attempted to share with others all that she had learned of stealth and non-conventional hunting through her white pelt whenever she could.

The female had fought in the past, many times, the scar over her eye was testament to that.

"Like I said, Asi is a good individual, he just has personality issues." she chuckled.

"Masuka. Nice to meet you Amari."

Kimaria
Amari felt a hint of pride as he realised that this female seemed to think highly of his sister. A smile spread across his maw once again and he nodded thoughtfully. "If it weren't for her I probably would have starved." He grinned and stood up, shaking the dust from his coat.

At her comment towards Asi he gave the lioness a somewhat bemused look, he had never thought that he would meet anyone who liked that coffee coloured lion after only one meeting. It had taken him a long while to get used to his brattish ways and he doubted they would ever see completely eye to eye.

"Issues in general I'd say." He laughed brightly, "but yeah he is one complicated lion."

As she gave him her own name he carefully put it away in his mind to remember, he hated forgetting the names of others, especially when an identity was so important. "Nice to meet'cha Massie." He twitched his whiskers and took a step back. "Well I'm sure we'll meet again but until then I'd best be off, it's never good to keep a lady waiting." He beamed and turned to head off towards the pride lands.

Lethrossen
Asi snarled as they met in mid-air, both toppling to the ground "Bakhti ge'the'feckoff'amenow!" He said it all in a jumble, not bothering to sperate the words. He could feel the lioness' claws digging into him, and suddenly he aimed a good kick at her stomach, his back was to the dirt and she was atop him.

This was not good, alls he wanted was her to get off of the cheetah. Oh the idtios around here!

Remove
She kept her claws in his side hopefully the other lionesses would have the brains to keep away from this. "Aww is the poor embarressed baby scared?" Sherecognized this before. Hadn't Asi and Amari had a fight once. They had both seemed scared but she was alot bigger then amari and stronger. She smiled her evil smile at him using all her weight to keep him down taking all the kicks and scratches. She had a perfect shot at his neck if she wanted it.

Lethrossen
Great he was having bad luck, wasn't he? He stopped his kicks, seeing they were useless. Asi had grown, and an adult lioness was not much bigger than adolesent male, whatever she thought. He began to growl, brows raising.

"I do no be a baby, you arse. No gettoff me.." He hissed, heart was racing, he just peered up at her, finally laying still. He knew what position he was in, and how easily she could lunge for his neck. He was a grouch, but he wasn't stupid.

Remove
She smiled at him again letting her claws dig even more into his flesh. "Awww its rare to find an Adolescent who cant hunt though!" She laughed. "Running from food isn't ever a good thing!" She smirked at him not loosening grip on him at all. She hated him with a passion.

Kimaria
He slipped from the grass, and raised both brows in slight surprise at seeing Bakhti, his own dear adopted sister attacking a lion he had somewhat befriended. Sure he and Asi did not exactly see eye to eye but...he had learned things about the male that none others had...or so he thought.

"That's enough!" He rumbled, the order rumbling in his throat with a growl. This was not how he had wanted to meet up with his sister again. "Bakhti...sister..." He sighed and shook the mane from his eyes, gazing around at the collection of lions...and the cheetah. Pretty females...He purred and gazed at them with shining eyes briefly.

Lethrossen
His chest was rising and falling heavily, he was afraid. Not that he'd admit that allowed. "Feck yew, I can hunt, you jus' ruined it.." He hissed, trailing off, suddenly he snapped at her fron leg, he did not like her claws in him, it hurt. And she'd know it if he'd had his claws out.

Great, no friends here. They were all just going to sit.. letting Bakhti do as she wanted to him. But suddenly he heard a farmillur voice, his gaze struggled to shift past Bakhti, was that Amari? God was he ever thankful to see that lion..

One of his only... 'friends', and that was after they'd gotten in a fight, too.

Remove
Bakhti ignored the other lioness there was a history between her and asi that she didn't know about but, "Amari?" She looked up instantly jumping off Asi. She didn't care about him any more. "Amari..." She didn't know what to say but she was still keeping an eye on Asi. He wouldn't jump her with Amari here. Would he be that stupid?

Kimaria
He loped over towards them, casting a glance between Asikari and his sister, it seemed he wasn't the only one to have grown since their time apart. His sister was a stunning lioness and his friend...well he had grown too. "Good to see you both..." He gave them a crooked grin and shook his mane once more, it was heavier now, and trailed further into his eyes than it had before.

"Now come on sis, I thought I was the only one who got into scraps over such little things." He smirked and cast a knowing glance towards Asi. "Still learned no manners I see." He gave a rumbling purr that emanated deep in his chest and moved to press his muzzle against Bakhti's neck.

Lethrossen
Asi lay on the ground, breathing still, frown on his mug. He slowly rolled to his side, pulling himself up. His gaze flicked first to one side, then to the other, examining the damage received from Bahkti's claw marks.. he was bleeding. And it stung. A growl was still stuck in his through, but slowly it was gone.

"Manners, I do think no. Specially toward.." He trailed off and tossed his head, shrugging. "Yeh, nice ter see ya, sure." He huffed, with out another word to any there he began padding off, not caring.

Obviously Amari and Bahkti had something to settle since Amari found Bakhti like that.. he sat down quite some feet from the lions, tail lashing as he twisted, lightly cleaning at the small wounds.

Remove
She smiled down at Amari and nuzzled him back watching Asi walk away a little, "Amari.. where have you been? Mawwio? Have you seen her? Hows it been you look magnificant!" She just couldn't believe her eyes. It was her brother. Well her kind of brother. Might not be related but good as. "Oh and Amari I have a cub well I dont but I adopted a little cub. Danzi. He is adorable!" She silenced herself a little to let him talk. It was so nice to see him again.

She turned her head to see Danzi. "Danzi! This is Amari my brother!" She ran over to him and nuzzled him motherly before turning back to Amari. She was suddenly very happy.

Kimaria
He watched Asikari move off a little through the corner of his eye and huffed, reaching up to pat softly at his sister's face with a paw. Would that lion never learn to get on with others? "Well...uhh I've been around." He flexed his claws, scraping up dust as he did so. "No...I haven't seen Maawio, I was just on my way to see my little sunshine right now as a matter of fact. Thought I'd give her a surprise visit." Oh how he had missed his golden beauty!

He took a small step back at the lioness' words of a cub but settled as he realised she had adopted one. Such kindness she had to give, even if she did have a bit of a temper...but hey he was guilty of that too so who was he to judge?

He watched as she dashed over to a cub. "Hello." He said, flashing a toothy grin.

KasaiLoki
Ari walked cautiously over ot where Asi sat. His wounds weren't to bad. Trying to brighten the mood that seem to hang over the brown lion, she spoke. "Getting beat up by a girl now? Heh." She grinned. Okay okay...so maybe it wasn't the best thing to say.

Andrani
Danzi blinked at Amari, relaxing about him with Bakhti's assurance. Purring a bit, he rubbed back against her in greeting.

Lethrossen
He paused in his tounge-bathing, gaze flicking to Rahima. "I do no be very friendly, if you do no figure tha'..." he trailed off and groaned, sitting up and watching Ari. "Oh lovely. Very nice." He hissed, rolling his eyes. "Yes, coarse. considering I do letter do tha, considering I only did wann'er off tha lil'.. oh why am I even 'splainin' to yew.." He huffed, tail flicking, glance trailing over to Amari. He watched the other male a moment.

Remove
Bakhti smiled at her son. How nice it was thinking of him as her own son. If only she could give him a father. She watched as the lionesses went to Asi. stupid lions didn't know what they were in for.

"Oh I have been staying here for a while. I have been staying with Sarabi. I haven't seen Maawio for ages. I thought she would have been with you." It was nice to know her brothers flirtaious nature hadn't vanished and his maturaity was well there-ish.

She managed to push Danzi towards Amari a little more. She wanted Danzi to talk to her brother.

Edit
Rahima sat down next to Asi, even if he wasn't 'very friendly'. Curling her tail round her and ignoreing her stomachs grousing - feed me feed me feed me - she watched the others. So many lions and not one had told her to get out. Probably because going by all the meetings they were rogues as well; what luck.

"I thought it was nice of you to defend the little cheetah...are you hurt badly? And I didn't catch your name, sorry."

Kimaria
The young male tilted his head a little and blinked, Maawio hadn't been seen at the pridelands? A sudden fear gripped him and he moved away, the emotion seen clearly in his eyes. Where was she? Was she hurt? Had she gone looking for him and gotten into trouble? He flattened back his ears and lowered himself a little. "She's not at the pridelands? Well...where is she?" His eyes darted from side to side in thought as he backed up further.

KasaiLoki
Shaking her head, Ari began to speak. "You're 'splainin' it to me, because you wanted to? I know what your intentions were. Suprised me actually." She nodded. "Especially considering the way I've seen you treat others including myself in these past few days I've known you."

Andrani
Danzi edged a bit closer, looking up at Amari, still small despite now being a juvenile. Like a cub with a lot more hair, he thought. "H-hi.."

Ishara watched the others, then got up and went to the water hole. Hungry as she might be, she could easily eat fish. Wasn't that hard to catch them, after all.

"No. Fine. Asi is tha name, it do no matter though." He glanced again to Ari, making a face. "Well cheetahs to no be lions." Was all he said, certainly not explaining that. It didn't make any sense at all.

Bakhti nuzzled her brother. "She may have gone with the other pridelanders that or she had been hiding from me. She is probably fine Amari." She smiled trying to reasure him. "It will be perfectly fine I promise!"

She couldn't really promise but she hoped she really hoped.

Edit
"Well since you're okay and say you're not friendly, I'll leave you to it Asi. Hopefully I'll meet you under better circumstances next time" Nodding to both Ari and Asi she padded back over to the zebra. Well, if no one else was going to start...

Oh she was going to enjoy this. Digging in, tearing away chunks of zebra to eat, Rahima purred a satisfied and slightly odd purr. Eating and purring at once will do that.

Why was he just standing around here doing nothing?! He didn't want to be rude and he definately wanted to become more aquainted with the little cub his sister was so fond of - not to mention all the beautiful lionesses that had gathered in the area - but he needed to check on Maawio! She was the queen of his heart, she ruled him, she owned him despite his flirtacious nature. If something happened to her then he would feel it...he would suffer along with her.

He glanced down at Danzi and gave him a small smile, "Hey there short stuff, you're quite a looker there, you sure will be a hit with the ladies when you're older." He laughed quietly and shook his head, glancing out towards the direction of the pride rock.

He perked up a little at Bakhti's words and nodded slowly in agreement. "You're probably right...but I should go and check on her, ya' know? I'll go seek her out and then I'll return...I promise." He purred once more, ruffling Danzi's little mane with a paw and touching noses with his sister.

Then turning in the right direction he trotted away, pausing to glance at Asi surrounded by beautiful femmes. "Wow you are so lucky Asi, you and your manly charm seem to attract the ladies." He winked teasingly at the male and laughed, "you'll have to teach me a thing or two some time." Then shaking his mane he headed off.

With amari's parting words Asi's jaw dropped, a rather amusing look on his face, disgust, embaresment and maybe a hint of pleasure, he stared after the male. He avoided looking at either of the females as this was said, shaking his head softly.

Why did he have to go and say a thing like that? He glanced at Rahima as she began away, glancing to Ari. Oh if she said anything about Amari's little remark..
