SBR have finalised the new SSBM tier list, looks like Sheik is no longer the best in the game. Quote: That's right everyone, the SBR decided to get together and update the tier list. Top Tier: Fox Falco High Tier: Sheik Marth Peach Middle Tier: Captain Falcon Ice Climbers Samus Doctor Mario Jigglypuff Mario Ganondorf Low Tier: Link Luigi Donkey Kong Roy Young Link Pikachu Bottom Tier: Yoshi Zelda Mr. Game and Watch Ness Bowser Kirby Pichu Mewtwo Just a note, we voted to cut back the number of "tiers" from 6 to 5. (I'll let other SBR members post here to explain anything they would like...right now I'm exhausted from compiling all the votes) It's been over a year since the old one. Now everyone, discuss. ~Fleurs Edit: We voted and changed the names of the tiers. Other, simple changed like that might occur. Influenced by PC Chris's success with Falco no doubt.

But of course player skill takes presedence takes over that. The tier list is based on two things. 1. The character's ownage potenetial. 2. The higher characters are the ones that are used by high ranking players that place highly in tournaments.

Tigerzero If I put Link level 9 and Fox level 9 in a battle Link WOuld win. No Items. On Battlefeild However, I can tell you, if a high level fox player faced a high level Link player the Fox player would win at least 7 out of 10 matches. As soon as you can tell me that a level 9 Fox can consistently DSHL, Wavedash, waveshine, shine spike, trap characters in infinites, Shuffl ALL attacks and ledge tech, then comparing level 9's to humans is absolutely stupid. LVL9 AI is the most retarded AI ever implemented into a fighting game, playing against lvl9's repeatedly actually makes you worse.
