Deep within an inhabbited jungle, there lay a very modern city. Very clean this city was. It was built on the ground and up the trees. Bridges stretched from tree to tree, and there were stairs the twisted up some of the trunks of certain trees. There are stores, clubs, bars and everything. Just like a normal human city. Except, this city was forbidden to humans. There was not a human who knew about this beautiful place.

Wandering alone around the outskirts of the unnamed city that lay before her, Aura was protecting the area. Even though no one told her to, she always did. Speanding most of her time outside the city, she knew all the animals, and what type of humans came close by. Her deep red eyes held lots of wisdom and cunning. They said she was experienced. Even though she was quite young, she had lived a long hard life.
Standing still, the gental breeze blew through Aura's white/purpleish hair. Ir rippled against her fur, as her eyes slowly scanned the area. Her small ears flickered backwards, catching every sound around her. Her nose was lifted slightly as she scented the air. Detecting nothing, she quietly started to continue her late night walk around the city.

Stepping out of her own hose, it happened to be three rooms big, with a few smaller rooms attached. She looked down at the empty city as the sun came through the leaves of the trees overhead. Walking to the edge of her house, she sat down and let her legs dangle over the side. Swinging them back and foreth as she listened to all the animal sounds around her. And anround the city.
'Why haven't you allowed me to be free yet'
That temptatious voice came into her head again. Asking to to let her free. Shaking her head she spoke out loud. If anyone passed by, it would seam like she was talking to herself.
"Becuase I don't trust you. You aren't like me, you are the oppisite. And with someone like that, you can't really trust them to be free..."

Luna walked down the street peacefully. She couldn't help but feel bored, nowadays she just stayed at home. The excitement she felt when she was young was gone and replaced with boredom. As she passed a house she stopped and looked around. She could see a girl sitting at the edge solemnly.

Turing her head slightly, she looked around her. The forested area as the suns rays peeked through the tall trees that loomed overhead. She looked the otherway, back towards the city. No one stirred. Then catching movement, she looked away. Closing her eyes, she let the few rays hit her icy white fur, making it shine and sparkle. Her wings were now out, and streched, even though they wern't that big. Her hair swayed gently in the light breeze that blew, also rippling her fur.

Hearing the stranger announce her presence, Aura'a ear flickered backwards when she spoke. Turning her head slightly to the right, she looked at the female who was behind her. Her tail swung back and foreth as she took in her scent. This female was very adventurous, but has lost interest since she was young. With a smirk on her face, she turned to face the smaller female. Looking down at her, her voice whisped from her mouth.
"Hello. What are you doing out so late?"

Luna looked at Aura and smiled. "Just thought I would take a stroll, the day does not have the wonders that the night presents so that is why." Luna stared at Aura horn curiously and then switched her gaze back to Aura herself. "Why are you out so late also may I ask?"

Appearance - Nuriel is rather small as phoenix's go. His body is about the size and general shape of a large mango, with a tiny wing on each side. His long neck makes his full-drawn height come up to the normal human's knee. A long, smooth crest flows from the top of the back of his head down to the base of his tail, which is about as long as his body itself. Emotional, shiny eyes are set to either side of his inch and a half long beak.

Keeping her gaze on the strange female, she saw her gaze at her horn for a few moments and then look back at her. Turing around, her feathers and fur glitened like ice with the moons rays. Tilting her head slightly to the side, she studied the younger female before she answered her question.
"I am more of a night time person. The town isn't so busy then it is during the daytime. And I just woke a few hours ago, and I love the beauty of the forest at night."
Turing her attention back to the forest, she looked around her. Her wings now spread, also shone like ice with the moons rays peeking through the trees that loomed overhead. Then, looking back at the female, she smiled lightly.
"Don't you agree?"

In a nice, cool area of the forest, shaded from the moon, was an innocent cracking sound, like that of a twig breaking, then silence. After a few seconds, a beach-ball sized explosion erupted a few feet from the ground. When the fire subsided, it left no char marks, or any singed leaves. It simply left behind a small red bird. The small bird didn't seem to mind the three foot drop to the ground, and didn't bother to open his wings before his landed with a soft 'thud' into a large pile of leaves.
His head poked up over the top of the pile, and he squawked happily. "Kwarah!"

Luna couldn't believe how beautiful Aura's wings were. She was strucked in shock but as soon as it subsided she started talking again. "Yes, I do agree nightime is peaceful and mystical to me."
