It is a condition of entry that you read and abide by the rules of this guild. On the whole, you have been very good and haven't crossed any line. So i congratulate you.
But
It saddens me to see that some of you have ignored one of the major rules. That is the one about stolen fanart.
We do not tolerate ANY STOLEN FANART - unless you have the artists permission to post YOU WILL NOT POST IT. If you like what the artist has done and wish to show us POST A LINK FOR REFERENCE PURPOSES. EDIT: When we say link we mean link to original artist and where the picture original picture is.
Apart from it being very rude to steal someone elses work, it is also a legal issue that you will see if you go and look up any of the Copyright Laws.
So please keep this in mind. I do not want to see and stolen fanart. All your work is fine - just remember to label it as such so that we know.
So in concluding this statement, i would like to see all the members come here and sign that they have read and understood and that they will follow the rules. Especially the fanart one.
If i see anyone disobeying it again - there will be a warning. Repeated offences will get you something not so pretty.
We're not that cruel either, we will accept when people make mistakes but if you do it on purpose. Watch out.
