The Winner Is: VINCENT VALENTINE!! By a 13-9 ratio against "RP Characters"
Now then,... we need Categories in which contestants can aim for. I'm thinking about three to five categories total. Any Suggestions?
Categories can be anything like this: Comical, Macabre, Original, realistic, ... things like that. At the end of the week I'll be taking the suggestions and making a poll. wink

-when does the contest end? i.e. how long does each contestant have to finish the piece?

I half want to sign up....um...if the theme is to difficult, are we allowed to drop out? Because I doubt I'll be able to draw Sephy, Vincent or JENOVA -_-... And are we allowed to use anything to draw with? Like colored pencil, or do we have to use some specific thing?anyway, I guess i want to be signed up, and I'll try my best ^_^

I suppose I could sign up.... I've been sorta practicing my drawing skillz.
Maybe I could make a statue out of starbursts...... yeah, as in the candy. It actually works pretty well until it melts... ninja

Thank Heaven it's finally working again!
Everyone should have almost exactly the same amount of time to work on their peice. Probably something between 2 weeks to a month depending on the catagory.
ALSO there will be multiple prize sections, which I will post after the catagory of art has been decided.
Because the "Theme" is open to your own interperetation I would hope you wouldn't feel the need to 'drop out' but you can choose which section you wish to enter your peice into!
Any medium, so long as you can display it on the forums, is acceptable.
It must follow the guild rules and the TOS

BUT there will also be subcategories like: Best humorous pic, Best artwork all around, most orriginal,... something like that. But the catagory has to be chosen first.
what I was saying is, you can do whatever you want with the basic theme, it can be a chibi comic strip or a starburst sculpture for all I care, It's open to your own interperetation. make sense?
