Once we have our contestants I'll go over the rest of the rules. Basically each of you will be given a certain number of "Character points" which you will apply towards certain character stats. Each participant will be able to customize his/her character without having any more of an advantage than anyone else. Then we'll determine the attacks and damage via dice-rolls. No godmodding here folks, it'll be good old-fashioned Role Play!
EDIT: Alright, here is how it's going to work. Each character will have these stats to start with:
HP - 15
In addition each character has four stats
Melee Attack (A)
Magic Spells (M)
Defense (D)
For each stat every character starts with one point.
MA - 1
RA - 1
D - 1
each participant is given 12 points to distribute into each of the 4 categories.
HP can be no higher than 20.
A can be no higher than 6.
M can be no higher than 5
D can be no higher than 4
Your bio should look something like this:
Character Bio
Ermak Lorde
HP - 19
A - 3
M -5
D - 3
Element: Fire
HP - 19
A - 3
M -5
D - 3
Element: Fire
Now here is what the stats each do:
every rating you have in the first 2 is the # of dice you will roll to attempt to deal damage to an opponent.
Defense is the difficulty rating of the dice rolls themselves, the number your opponent has to get equal to or greater than in order to hit.
For Melee Attack: You roll a six-sided Die equal to the number of 'points' you have in this skill.
For Magic Spells: Magic Spells work just like the Melee attacks, however each Player must choose an elemental strength and an elemental weakness before the start of the role-plays, this is NOT changable once decided.
Elements:
Fire -> weakness -> Water
Water -> weakness -> Earth
Wind -> weakness -> Fire
Earth -> weakness -> Wind
Any questions?
