no such thing as "morgane power"
however... if you are talking about Morganna Mode Gone also know as: the leader of the 8 waves (phases), mother of aura, stated as "god" of The World, and the same person who tricked Tsukasa in .hack//sign ...
however if you literally mean that spelling...then I have no idea =_= (granted I haven't watched sign in over a year or so aside from Unison)

Not so much the leader as it is her power divided up as the eight phases.

If I'm not mistaken wasn't Morgana meant to be the "mother" to raise Aura? Or am I that much of a noob?

Morganna factor is the program Harald (inventor of The World) created to study human interactions and emotions of the players in the online game The World to create the Ultimate AI Aura. Morgana is a self aware program, and knowing after Aura is born, she would be tossed aside, so she traps Harald into the game, and sends the 8 waves (Phases) to delete her once she is born. The Morgana power is the power of the Eight Phases Skeith, Innis, Magus, Fidchell, Gorre, Macha, Tarvos, Corbenik. In G.U. Morgana's data of the waves would later be cultivated to create Epitaph Users, players who control the waves. Morgana is the God of The World mentioned in AI Buster Novel

To sum it all up, Morganna was the "womb" for Aura. Once Aura is born, the womb is no longer needed. Realizing this, Morganna tried to stall Aura's birth or try to corrupt it by screwing up Tsukasa's emotions, this funnels screwed up emotions into Aura. Morganna is not the leader of the Infinity Eight, she IS the Infinity Eight, she is the Phases. Let's just say the Phases are her body parts and together as a whole they form one mind, this mind is what many you think Morganna is.

And from what I heard (highlight to read) in episode 25 of .hack//sign, Skeit apears for the first time and uses data drain on Sora. Someone said Sora becomes part of Skeith and that you save him in the end of the .hack games.
