A few of the people that I was chatting with a few minutes ago totally shocked me. As soon as I put my Prolife sign in my siggy, here's what they posted: Quote: Prolife is for losers! I'm taking you off my friends list, loser! I don't really give a care about the taking me off their friends list, but they were so rude. They called all of us losers! Did they even stop to think about how they were insulting so many people? I know that they didn't. That just totally shocked me. Call me weird, but I don't care. They insulted us about something so great, Prolife.

Seriously. I know for a fact that severalof my friends are pro-choice. The reason why I consider them myfriends though is because, they are the extremly rare choicers you get around here. They don't want to talk about it and ask that you do the same. If oyu talk to them in PMs they are more then willing (unless they're in an off mood) to reason with you and even consider what you have to say. They are the kind who actualy listen to you and want to see why you beleive what you do and possibly even consider incorperatign that beleife into their system. I've actualy changed some one's mind once...once.
How ever, these kinds of repescatble people are few and farbetween, and oyu can literly count on your fingers how many of them exist here on gaia.

There was a period of time where I was afraid to put any mention of it in my sig, profile, etc. I was getting hatemail, friends were avoiding me, it's like...grow up. I hold these beliefs. I don't freaking send hatemail to you for not agreeing with me.
It's ignorance. I'm sorry anyone needs to be faced with it, especially for such a stupid reason. If other people don't want to understand you, their loss, I hope they manage to get through life alright, what with their heads being jammed so far up certain orifices.

You could alway tell them that you are pro-choice about being pro-life. You choice being pro-life just like they choice to be pro-choice.

I personally have a few pro-life friends, and although it's a sensitive subject, I find that the only way to avoid conflict is to discuss different things. I can't speak for them, but my opinion is not really one. Most of us are for freedoms of all sorts outside the whole abortion debate, ie. The First Amendment. Looks like Miss Pirate just got thrown with a bad nut.
