What is the General subforum about, you ask?
Everything that isn't an RP or doesn't fit in the main forum, meaning that it is a thread of special interest but doesn't directly deal with FFVI. This means a shop, contest, or quest thread may go in here, amoung many other sort of things. Non-FFVI themed threads may go in here too. (as sort of General Discussion)
There are steps to making some types of threads in this forum, but for the most part, make as you will and have fun ^_^
Things to note:
Old contests/stores/charities in the General subforum will be locked; any thread thread not locked in that subforum is considered open. If you have made such a thread and would like it to be locked please pm a crew member to do so (this includes me).
Old contest/store/charity threads also get de-stickified.
To create a contest of your own in the general subforum:
PM a crew member with your contest idea.
Get your contest idea approved by a crew member.
Go and post your contest in the contest subforum; it will be stickied ASAP.

The above also goes for stores and other threads that involve the use of the bank or a promise of a prize of some sort with participants as well.
