The wolf stalked through the snow laid ground. It has been snowing a lot here in the north. The charcoal blue wolf was still new to the area, and he has already got a friend of his hurt. Jaxom has welcomed him, hunted with, and fought for him. Now he was hurt. Ehrek left for a moment while the earth toned wolf rested back at the hollowed out tree. He had to find a way to get the wolf some water.
The wolf carefully moved along the ground, weaving between the trees to the river. He could hear the running water splashing against it's frozen edges. He could smell the fresh scent of it's pure liquid. He had to get to it and get it back to Jaxom. His heart raced as he picked up his pace as he traversed the snow packed ground. Suddenly he stopped. Something was near. He opened all his senses, "Who's there!?" he called out into the snowy terrain. Someone was near, he could smell him. It was defiantly a male. His golden eyes shifted from side to side, between trees and any place where one could hide. Where...?

Reityn Zacarias trotted slowly through the snow, feeling it cling between his golden toes. He wagged his tail behind him, despite the gloom of the weather around him, he was happy. Having stopped at the lake finally, been back to his home, he had known that it was time to continue his journey. While he'd slept at the lake, the Lord had told him to go up the mountain, and there he would see what he was looking for.
Zac knew not whether what he was looking for could be seen from up there, or was indeed just up there, but it didn't not really amtter to him, he was looking forward to reaching the top, whichever it may be. He smiled to himself as he mulled the newest message over, hardly noticing that he couldn't see more than three feet in front of him. He sneezed as he got a snowflake in his nose, and cried out somewhat annoyedly.

Ehrek's nose twitched. The scent was gone, but he still remained on guard just in case. He listened, all he heard was the rushing river. He saw, all he could see was the snowflakes merge with the ground. He breathed, all he could smell now was the river's water. He felt, all he could feel was the cold, wet snow under his paws. He tasted, all he could taste was the stall air. Satisfied that the male was gone he continued to the river, perhaps it was just another wolf who saw nothing he wanted...hopefully.
At the riverbed, both sides of the river were frozen over, but the river flowed freely between. He cautiously set a paw onto the ice, it was solid. The wolf carefully edged himself to the river and dipped his head down. The water was as cold as the snow itself and the air around him, yet still refreshing. He must get this water back to Jaxom...but how? Perhaps carry it in his muzzle and release it for it....no, it could drain into the earth and the process was....strange. Perhaps he could get a leaf and gather the water up and carry it back...but it'll spill when he would lift it.
What was he going to do. Ehrek whined as he fell into confusion and lost.

Reityn The slight gray male continued to trot, completely unkingly towards a river that ran through this area. Since he'd never been up the mountain before, and had no way of knowing it was there, he quite promptly found himself laying sprawled out on...cold, hard something. He shivered and tried to pull himself up, ending up sprwaled painfully across this weird substance. It was cold, hard, and slick. It made no sense to the young loner, who was used to the mossy forest floor, and had no idea what ice was.

The wolf looked up and a little ways down the river. A strange grey wolf slipped on the eyes a couple of times. He looked like a fool playing in the water, perhaps he'll lend a paw.
Ehrek trotted down the river bed to the other wolf. It was, judging by it's scent, a male. The charcoal blue hued wolf smirked, intresting...
"Hey there, stranger. Are you having a little trouble out there?" he asked, almost teasingly. The wolf extened his paw, offering it to the stranger. "Here."

Reityn Zacarias looked up at the other male, his entire body aching from falling on the ice twice now. "Thank you." Zac said, leaning towards the offered paw and clasping his jaws around it gently, so the other, who was apparently much stronger, although it wouldn't take much strength to move Zac, could pull him off whatever this cold slippery stuff was. He wagged his tail slightly and shivered again, the cold substance under his stomach making his entire body feel chilled through.

"Let's get you off the ice, alright?"Ehrek jerked his paw back and brought him back to land. Ehrek smiled down at the wolf, "Alright there, buddy?" Ehrek sat down and cocked his head. He thought all wolves in the north knew of the snow and the cold that caused the water to freeze over. "Don't tell me you were trying to cross the ice." he said, sort of worried. "Were you?" not often do wolves cross ice just to get to the other side, they'd just find some sort of nateral bridge.
"Name's Ehrek." he grinned, "And what is your name?"

Reityn "Ice. So that's what that cold stuff is?" Zacaraias laughed, pulling himself up on the snow, half expecting to fall flat on his face again. He was almost shocked when he managed to stay on his feet, and he grinned widely at the other male. "It's weird. Wonder what it tastes like..." He trailed off, bending towards the slippery cold stuff and sticking out his tongue to lick it. He winced slightly when his tongue only went so far, and then realised that it had gotten stuck to the weird stuff. "Oh no." He muttered, sounding very muffled.

Ehrek bristled, "No wait!" he pasued as the wolf leaned down to the ice and licked it. "...nevermind." The wolf looked like a pup, curious about everything. Here, the wolf looked ridiculous. The wolf was bent over and his tongue stucked to the ice. And his rear end was in teh air. It was quite priceless really.
"Great..." Ehrek circled the male trying to think of a way to get him out of this mess. The wolf lowered his muzzle to the stranger's ear, "I'll get you out." he whispered. The blue hued wolf placed his paw on the ice, a little ways from the wolf's stuck tongue. A growl emitted deep from his body as he forced his paw down; nothing. He tried again, nothing. "Break you infernal ice!" he growled as he pushed both his paws onto the ice. The solid gave way and it opened up, breaking itself into many pieces and sent Ehrek into the river. SPLASH
"Gah!" he gasped as he came up for a breath of air. He swam to the shore, shivering like a furless pup in the rain. The charcoal hued wolf pulled himself onto the shore and sat down, shivering. "That...was....BLOODY...cold." he growled, shivering uncontrollablely.

"My goodness!" He shouted as Ehrek plunged into the water, stepping back just in time to save himself. He stared in shock as the other wolf, definately MUCH stronger than himself, pulled himself out of the apparetly freezing water, and then lay unmoving in the snow. Zac rushed over to him, bein a few yards away due to the current of the frozen river, and curled himself around the other wolf. "I'm sorry. That was so incredibly stupid of me." He said ashamedly. "I didn't mean to put you in danger." He mumbled, licking the others' fur all over to try and dry him, or at least keep him somewhat warmer than he would have been laying by himself. He pushed his own body against Ehrek's, hoping to keep him from getting too cold, and getting sick, or worse. He didn't know how he knew what he was doing would help, one could call it instinct, he guessed, wagging his tail a little as he tried to warm the other up.

This was awkward. Another male up against his body for warm, it was somewhat too uncomfortable for him. Sure he found himself attracted to other males, but he can't bring himself to love another. He may not want to have a family of his own, but he would not take that oppritunity from another wolf. But he couldn't move, he was simply too cold and he would not want to offend the warming wolf. He rested his head on his paws and looked away from him.
"Thank you...." his voice trailed at the end, "what was your name again?"

"Zac...arias," He mumbled, feling ashamed. "I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable. I do at least hope you're nice and warm now?" He said, feeling his cheeks warm and turning away. He hadn't meant to make the other male feel nervous or uncomfortable. He had just ben acting on instinct....Or had he? Zac shook his head, tossing little clumps of snow off his fur in every direction. He didn't actually do that cause he wanted to, he did it to save his new...friend? He sighed and turned back to the other, then realising that the other was looking away from him, he turned back away, giving a feeble wave of his tail then resting his own chin upon his paws and allowing himself to close his eyes, nodding off a little, then forcing them back open. Now wouldn't be a good time to sleep. Not by the side of a frozen river in the snow. He laughed to himself, breaking the silence, although definately not making it less awkward.

"S...sorry, Zac." the wolf mumbled. His ears swiveled when he heard Zac move away and laid himself down. Perhaps his uncomfortability rubbed off onto the other wolf. This isn't what he wanted. He just didn't want to fall for this wolf, he didn't want to.....the situation was complicated to explain, but it was just that he didn't want others to get involved no matter how much he admired them. His secret must remian that; a secret.
The wolf got to his feet and walked over to the grey wolf. Then placed his head on his back, "Sorry. Forgive me for my rudeness. You were only trying to help me." he said, ears pulled to his skull. "I'm sorry..." he apologized again, still shivering.

The small gray wolf smiled as the other one placed his head on his back, and he wagged his tail a little, then stopped and mentally smacked himself. I don't want him to know....I don't want anyone to know, The Lord would be ashamed... He thought, licking his paw casually, enjoying the feeling it created as it froze a little. He laid his ears back and rested his head on his paws again, looking ahead, into the blizzard. "This place is odd, but I was told to come here. Maybe you could help me get to the top of the mountain?" He asked, lifting his head again and turning so he was facing Ehrek. "I'm...looking for something..." He said, shifting his weight a little and pushing himself against the blue and gray wolf, making it seem like an accident.
