well. first i will say that im sorry its hard to see in places, but i like it that way. i changed it on the computer and...it just didnt look right. im pretty proud of this peice, mainly just because i got all those fingers right (or at least close; its recognizable as a hand) i think the pinky is wrong, but right? i dunno. the middle joint was lost. and the line closest to the fingers is too far away, i know that.
before i say too many words, i'll say that i didnt spend that much time on this, maybe three hours (most of which was spent on those blasted fingers!) and after that it just seemed to say "stop messing with me. im done." the quote is from Paul Hughes' Silverthought Trilogy, it says "and this heart, for you."
but, i thought you guys might like to see this. let me know if any of the anatomy is off, or just what you think of it. thanks!

UPDATE okay, so i fixed the line mostly, changed a little bit of the index (still too long, i know, it just looks so perfect in position with the flower) and thumb and added shading. its still missing some of the finer points of shading, but i never meant for this to be a project. it just looks better now smile

::another update:: i didnt see the point in making a new thread when my post is pretty near the top. i drew a gift someone gave me. go easy, i've never drawn glass before. its a jar with coffee in it.

I can't draw hands, not even if my life depended on it. D:
This is good but the index finger is over sized and the thumb is the wrong angle, you can't see the that much of the nail and the flat of the hand at the same time. I really like idea and feeling of the picture though.

Np. ^^ I don't think it's that much work. While you're at it you can always shade it some more. wink

not bad from first glance. hands are tricky. we had to draw 4 for homework on first day of class. *dies*

haha, i stayed up until 1 in the morning finishing them. well, there was a lot of distractions when i drew them so i guess it's not that bad.

i think i did well with the bottle 'o coffee as well. maybe i will upload a picture of it sometime. the ribbon was very interesting. its actually on the bottle and everything; i thought about altering it (to make it easier to draw/more stylized) but i think this way it fits better. im glad you like it!

I think that's pretty well done, cause the hand is so hard to draw and I know I can't draw it sweatdrop

Hands are re-fricken-diculous. You did a nice job on it though. I think now that you've fixed some things, my only advice would be to work on the shading. Either the background or the center of the hand. It's very rare that the background would be the same color as skin. I chose to make my hands darker than the background, they're not better than yours, just what i think would make your hand 'pop' excellence. I've got them posted here:
