This will be for the story lines that me and Chris come up with. So yeah.. Woot? Beware the Wall of Text! -Ominous music plays-
Chris comments: Actually, these storylines occured several hundred years before the events in this RP. They inspired everything you see here.

Prelude to DFS: Joseph_Katsuya Okay, story line of the prelude. As I said, it was just meant to be a short story. It was basically gonna be an extended Duelest tournament.
Also, the part where the Kingdom was looking for their long lost prince. Well, in the King and Queen had 3 kids. 2 sons, and one daughter. The oldest was killed in battle while protecting the kingdom. The daughter turned down her rights to the heir to get married and settle down. Leaving only one child left to claim the throne. But at the age of 4, the youngest son was kidnapped. The kingdom spent 10 years looking for him. Until they got a tip from the Darkfire Kigndom (whom they were allied with) that their son was found in some distant town on the other end of the continent.
This is where the story begins. Two of the Kings elite gaurds were sent to find him. On the way, they are stopped by two cloaked strangers (who turn out to be Curio and the young Diablo. They too are looking for the lost Prince. So there is a slight rivalry in finding him.
Though the elfs get to him first, the Kings gaurds are who he ends up with. For the past 10 years, the Prince was orphaned by a theif, and has lived off of stolen food and gold for years. So they tell him about his heir to the throne, to which he does not believe. He runs away from them.
The elves find him again, and explain to him about the prophecy of the Great Elemental War. And it'll begin with him. Because there is a prelude to the war, that states a young boy will become known as the worlds strongest duelest. And that his wife will give birth to one of the elemental guardians. Curio also tells him that he must go back to his roots.
And so he goes back to the kings gaurds and spends the next 3 years training. The current King, who lays on his death bed, orders that there be the worlds biggest Duelest tournament, where the winning recieves the title of the worlds strongest duelest and his place on the throne. So naturally, thousands of people all over the world decide to take part in it.
Most of the story was gonna be fighting anyways. XD So the final round is a doubles tournament. Where two competitors fight against two others at the same time. The Prince is matched up with the kings right hand guard, Cid. And in the final match, they go up against Diablo and Curio. Diablo doesn't pose much of a threat, but he is very well guarded by his bigger, tougher brother, Curio.
I haven't worked out the battles yet, but in the end, the Prince is the only one left standing. So he rightfully take place on the throne.
Over the next 40 years, his rule over the land is very well known, and he is also labeled 'The Worlds Greatest King'.
I've already told you about his relation with Kens mother, and I was basically going to end this story with the birth of Ken and Mellany.
And yeah... That's how it goes down.
So what do you think?

DFS Storyline: Joseph_Katsuya Okay. So you know how the DFS revolved around the sport, Dueling. And then there the dragons, and the magic stones that were basic knock offs of materia, and whatnot.
Well, I'm gonna tell you the story I came up with in my head. Or atleast, what I managed to came up with. This is why I needed to discuss it with you. To complete the story. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So, it starts with Ken and his baby dragon sitting on the roof. Cocoa, the dragon (XD) has been acting weird lately. Staring off in the distance. Not eating. Etc.
One day, Ken gets a package from the King. Inside, he finds a note from the King, telling him about his birthparents. This is basically where Ken finds out that he has a feternal twin sister. So in this note, he is told that the King once loved his mother, and had a son with her, who is the Prince, Max. They later seperate. She joins the kingdoms task force (elite army) and meets a new man. This would be his father. They later have twins (keeping in mind he isn't told that it's a girl). Eventually, she is transferred to protect another kingdom. But she leaves her son with the King, asking him to take care of him. 15 years later, Ken reads this letter. He is also given a very valuable gem that once belonged to her. Cocoa leers in the background, keeping a close eye on this gem.
Somewhere else in the forest, Kens sister, Mellany, who had recieved a similar letter months before, was on her way to this kingdom. She gets lost, but finds Diablo, thanks to her skills to sense the elements. Diablo was boiling some water, and she sensed the flame and found him.. Anyways. >_>
He agrees to bring her to the King of this land. But on the way over, they walk through a cold patch. For a few meters, the temprature completely drops below freezing, then goes up again. Eventually, they get out of the forest, and discover a house at the end of the feild. Which is Kens. They eventually arrive at his house, and Diablo basically dumps her onto him, and dissappears. At this point, Cocoa snags the gem off of the table, and make a mad dash out the door. Ken runs after him, and Mel is quickly told to make herself at home.
They make it to the forest, and Ken finds the temprature to be quite a bit lower then it should be. He follows his pet to the lake in the middle of the forest, and what he finds bewilders him. He finds in the very center, laying ontop of the water, the Dragon of Ice. This dragon senses Ken, and tells him the world is in danger. This dragon is telepathic, by the way. XD
Ken is told that an evil man is about to emerge. And that he will try to steal the power of the dragons, thus recieving their elemental power. There were 8 dragons including himself, the Dragon of Fire, the Dragon of Wind, the Dragon of Water, the Dragon of the Earth, the Dragon of Lightning, the Dragon of Light, and the Dragon of Darkness.
The dragon then glows a bright white colour, and tells Ken that he is the gaurdian of Ice, destined to protect the Dragon of Ice. The dragon then turns into pure energy. Think of Kadaj when he dies. All the energy forms a small ball, that shoots into Ken. He faints, and wakes up in the morning, wondering if it were a dream, or a mirage.
He then goes back home to discover an invite to the upcoming Duelest Tournament on his door. [end of chapter one] --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The next chapter is basically him training, and being taunted by Diablo, creating the rivalry between them. I was also planning on introducing Kens half brother, Max in this one. Mel quickly learns that she is Kens sister, after reading the letter he recieved. At the end, it'd be a week later, at the stadium, moments before the first battle. [end of chapter two] ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This one is the epic battle between Diablo and Ken. Appearently, no one else signed up. But Diablo really intimidated the competition so that he and Ken would be the only contenders. Ken starts with his initial weapon, that weird swallow thing, but gets knocked over by one of Diablos fireball attacks. He flies out of the ring. Dropping the gem he had recieved, he looks upon it and sees it glowing. He goes to reach for it. Upon grabbing it, his whole hand lights up in a green flash, and his energy blade forms.
Getting back into the ring, Diablo notices his aurablade. Knowing what it means, Diablo uses his ultimate weapon. Speaking a few words in the ol' elvish toungue, a little black vortex appears. From within, a large scaley demon appears. You may know it as the Darkfire Dragon. It shoots a large bolt of energy at Ken. One that would probably kill him if it hit.
Ken reacted quickly, and used his aura blade to cut right through it. The blast shoots off the far wall of the stadium, nearly missing Melany. She stands in awe. Both her and Diablo know exactly who they are standing in front of, and he is not the wiser.
Diablo then forfeits, and walks away. Ken follows him and offers him half of his winnigs, as a peice offering. Diablo reluctlantly accepts. But not before Melany interupts, revealing that she is Kens long lost twin sister. [end of chapter three] ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This one starts with the three discussing things at Kens house. Diablo reveals that he knows Ken is the Ice Gaurdian, based on the scriptures he's read about the 'weilder of rare energy'. Melany shows Ken her letter from their mother, stating everything the Kings letter stated. Only with one more detail. It states 'find your brother, or all will be lost'. She never even signed it. There's just a line that appears unintentional near the bottom and a small ink splotch. As if she was hurried to hide it.
They question what it could mean, and see the only solution to finding out is seeking the writer of the letter. The only problem was that their mother died 3 years ago. So they decided to consult the only known human alive who could shed some light on it. And that was the King. [end of chapter four] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I don't really have much down for this chapter, I just know they see the king, get some information about their parents, and the elemental dragons, then decide to set out to find thier father. Diablo decides to join them, as he is also seeking someone, and the King assigns his son to accompany them aswell. And so the journey begins.
The only other things I have are sketches of two other dragons, and two other gaurdians.
And I really think we should work the rest out.
EDIT: Not to mention the fifth main character and the Baron. XD Joseph_Katsuya Oh, and I almost forgot this one thing
The first town they come across on their journey is Bell Town. It's just a quiet black smithing town with a large water tower that doubles as a windmill. They poke around a bit looking for some food. But before they can, they hear a villager scream. Running to investigate, they find a large cloaked man. Diablo, being the only one who knew how to sense aura's, felt the darkness in the mans heart. Ken, unknowing that he shared the same ability, felt that something bad was to occur.
The man confonted them. He wore a mask under his cloak. A plain white mask, with small 1 cm slits for his eyes and mouth. He was about to attack, when a strange force could be felt approaching. From the north, came the Dragon of Darkness, who landed on the water tower. The man seemed to act as though he knew the dragon was coming.
A battle between Baron and the dragon, and a few interuptions from the gang ensue, but in the end, the dragon lays defeated, and the group watches in horror as the man sucks the energy out of the beast, and claims it as his own. With his new found power, he retreats.
-insert flash back to the conversation with the King-
The King had told them, that there were 8 dragons. One for each element: Fire, water, wind, earth, ice, lightning, light and darkness. Each dragon assigned a certain human to be their gaurdian, at that persons birth. But among the gaurdians, one had become corupt and evil. He would bring the beginning of the Great Elemental War. The war was pretty straightforward. All 8 gaurdians were to fight eachother, like the duels. And when one gaurdian fell, he would give his power off to the winner. The one who stood at the end would be considered the strongest being on the Earth. He/she could do anything his/her heart desired.
And Ken was the rightful Gaurdian of Ice. Not only was he to protect his element, but he had to weed out the evil from the others. And it would appear that they discovered the weed in the garden. And on top of that, he claimed the power of two dragons. His element, lightning, and the power of the Dragon of Darkness, that he stole.
This is where the real journey begins.
