There have been a bunch of tortishell strays hanging out around my house lately. We thought there were only three, and we've been trying to not become too attatched to them, since we can't afford to take them in. But, the smallest of the three brought her kitten on the porch last week, and it's becoming hard to resist the cuteness. The kitten can't be more than a couple weeks old, and it takes after it's mother in coloring, but with cobalt blue eyes instead of amber. It's just this tiny little ball of fluff with a fat belly. ^-^ I have a feeling that, even if we don't take in the other three, we'll probably end up taking the kitten in. whee

Sounds adorable! I always wanted a kitty with blue eyes! Scotts buddy Steve moved into his new house yesterday and I went over around 9 and there was this black and white cat who had been their with them while they were unpacking all day. He was just going in and out the front door, going up the stairs, walking around, letting us hold him and love him. He was pretty much acting like 'oh cool, your moving in, me too!'

LOL! Sounds about right. There's a saying I heard once that goes along the lines of "While humans adopt their dogs, cats adopt their humans." whee I've found it to be fairly true. 3nodding

There's a saying I heard once that goes along the lines of "While humans adopt their dogs, cats adopt their humans." whee I've found it to be fairly true. 3nodding Yup, most of the cats I have had always decide they like someone else in my family better except for the two Maine Coons I have now, they are two of the best cats I have ever had and they love me. They follow me around and my big guy loves to cuddle with me, I've always wanted a cat that will come sit in my lap and wacth tv with me, he loves tv. He also loves the Mary Jane, he'll be your best friend if he smells it on you.

Maine Coons are so pretty! surprised I'd be jealous, but all my cats are pretty much attention whores, so I'm never lacking for a lap cat. whee
