3nodding I have seen tapioca balls in the supermarkets here, but they are small and white... the ones I've seen over the net are black/brown...
confused However, I found the recipe:
http://bubbletea.biz/recipes/tapioca.htmlIt looks like they're already colored and flavored... but some people here make them (we call "sagu") with flavored syrups, fruit juice or even wine. We let the tapioca balls soak in water for about one hour, then boil them in the wine, or juice, until they become colored. Then, we add sugar. I wonder if it would taste alike if I done that way, but with some sort of caramel.
I'll try to make it here, I'm so curious about this Bubble Tea! I love tea ^^
