From bugs, crap endings, lack of extras to finding out your computer needs that extra piece of hardware. What disappointments have you experienced?

In Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow, Dawn of Sorrow & Lament of Innocence there's no second castle making the games much shorter (excluding the different modes & characters as sometimes they're just not enough). Doesn't mean I don't love them though. wink

Even though I've only played Mario Kart on the SNES before the DS version, the DS version felt like it could've done with some more tracks rather than the same 8 over & over.

There's a bug in Morrowind: GotYE on the Xbox where after a save file is over 200 blocks it keeps crashing frequently.

When Tales of Symphonia & various Resident Evil games went to the PS2 even though they were supposed to be GC exclusives. Doesn't the word exclusive f***ing mean anything anymore?

Platinium covers, they're all pretty much bloody awful. I know it's about the game but I like the box art too. X) I went round a lot of shops looking for the first KotOR on the Xbox that didn't have the cheapo cover. Sad, I know. razz

The amount of games (correction - lack of) & their prices for macs.

Dante & Lucia's extra outfits (excluding Dante's second one which was Trish) in DMC2 were sh*te! Stupid advertising. Pft.

I'm disappointed with Halo and FFVII.
People rave on about them.
I play it - T3h crapporz.
I enjoyed FFVIII more.
And Halo.. GODDAMN Y-AXIS! BACKWARD PEOPLE! BACKWARD PEEEEEEEOPLE! *screams and faints*

I think I'll stick to Nintendo -_-;;;

In Morrowind: GOTY I live like a peasant.

I can never keep any of my stuff because of the damn crashes.

Halo's story mode really bites (unless you read the novels, their totally awesome biggrin . Oh, except for the Flood...that whole thing blows stare ). And does FFVII live up to it's hype? I've been dying for a copy of it for a year now but I wonder if it's worth it....

Oh, and you wanna talk disappointing? Has anyone played Star Ocean 3? 132 hours, and the ending was twenty minutes of my life i wish i had back.
I mean yeah the game was fun and the story fairly interesting but did it really need to be so long?! Especially since the ending-well you know what i'm saying.....

Final Fantasy X-2 was a disappointment. FFX is my favorite game. Then the sequel came. And the perfect ending is too much work. Its not worth it.

I was able to beat Vegnagun with Yuna as a Berserker...JUST YUNA!

FFX. Almost everything in it for me. From the female main character to the storyline. Blitzball was a huge disappointment. I thought it was going to be something incredibly fun after seeing the intro movie. I thought wrong.

Silent Hill 4. Ugh. I cannot believe the false advertising we got from the awesome looking trailer. crying I loved all three previous titles, but 4 was the worst for me. Storyline was fine, some of the scares were there, but not much. (They just had to take out the Twin Head baby screams, didn't they?) Henry. Man, did I believe he was going to be another awesome protagonist.. with a twist. Of course, only to find out this is not true. His personality and voice actor did not help either. Yeah, Henry.. what the hell is that!? And.. EILEEN. I will not get into her.

Devil May Cry 2. Do I even NEED to rant about this?

I did briefly get into blitzball but like you, I was expecting something completely different.

Devil May Cry II sucked. Period. End of discussion.

Star Ocean 3: Till The End Of Time, for reasons already mentioned, and that there was a severe lack of Nel x Maria.

The only saving grace of Final Fantasy 10 was Blitzball. The rest of the game could be beaten with the Aeons alone.

I played through 79 levels total over two characters, across the Flyff world map, before I realized that all it was is a grindfest and a bigger e-p***s contest combined. Talk about a let-down.

Fable was a let-down as well. Here I was expecting a decent hack-and-slasher, but it was far, far too easy, and more of an ego trip than anything else. In the Avernum series, you have to EARN your goddamn titles.

And the biggest letdown? Grandia III. The game started out nicely. Very nicely. And it stayed nice until about Disc 2, at which point Alfina's whiny, overdramatic voice starts to become redundant, not enough character interaction (Though witty when it occurs!) keeps you from bonding with them, and the Guardians' horrible voiceovers just ruin it all. I know Xorn is supposed to be all evil and menacing and crap, but his english dub is a middle-aged tenor with a cheap echo effect. The other guardians aren't much better. By the end, I felt so emotionally detached from the entire situation that the only thing that kept me through the boss fight was the battle system itself, the only thing that remained badass from the previous games, and I didn't even watch the ending. Wasn't worth it.

Primal the ending was so bad compared to the rest of the game

so3 love the game - really! But I was disapointed in the ending of some characters around.

DMC2 the outfits completely sucked!! DMC3 all the way! D:

RE4 I had the GC a month and it went to the ps2 with extra's!

Jersey Devil worst game I've ever played. A friend reccomended it, but when I started playing it I nearly fell asleep! sweatdrop

KH compared to all the hype I didn't like it that much. OK it's fun but not as awesome as I expected.

Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter. Oh my god, single player in that game is more painful than all those horrid mind destroying Barbie games put together. The sheer stupidity of the default control layout is mind boggling. Why oh why would anyone alter my precious WASD? I don't know. But to simply set the controls to some semblance of normality, totally buggered up the squad controls. The voice over was annoying, and the overall gameplay aggrovating.

Maybe it's just me, but I had much higher expectations.

I HATE HATE HATE the way that they make you play blitzball. I absolutely HATE it. It's so confusing, and there were so many other and easier ways that they could have let you get into it with.

Besides that, I haven't found a flaw with the game yet. I kind of like Yuna, but at first, I couldn't stand her. Now she's grown on me. I haven't finished the game yet, so I can't say for sure...

I wish RE4 on GC had a two player mode. I'm way too afraid to play the game, but I bought it because it looked so cool and it didn't have zombies, so I figured I'd be fine. But I wasn't, and it scared me badly. xp So instead I watched my boyfriend play it, and it was such an awesome game! I played Mercenaries mode, but I'm still not able to play the real game mode. If it had a co-op choice to it, I'd play it with my boyfriend and actually get to enjoy the game. biggrin

the biggest to me is when my game freezes up or when the plot just kind of dies off after a while. or when one of my favorite characters dies *cries*
