I've been looking around our guild lately and I've been noticing that posts are becoming harder and harder to Decipher. I hate to sound like a total grammar nazi here, but this is getting a little out of hand. Guys, It takes about 2 seconds to read over a post to make sure you don't look illiterate to the guild members here as well as any other potential members.
I don't mind the odd spelling mistake here and there, because I am guilty of that just as much as the next person, but when I can't read a post to help someone because of all the shorthand internet chatspeak, I get a bit frustrated.
In short, I'd just like to try to keep chatspeak to a minimum here guys and gals.

I mean, I'm not a grammar nazi to where if you're punctuation is wrong, or you're not using capital letter, I won't chew you out. But please people, stop stringing mindless words together and butchering the English language.

Considering that spelling and grammar dictates how people look on the internet, it's amazing how many deformed users there are online.

It is still in use and transforming. Latin is a dead language as no one is actively speaking it. Also, just because "nobody" speaks with perfect English doesn't mean we shouldn't at least try.

English is in use by everyone in America, so it's not dead. Besides the English language is used correctly: the definition of Living Language is a form of communication in constant evolution |
