In the world of Gaia, a strangely empty maternity would be found. Mainly because of where it was situated. The inside was mainly of pale blue and white, no posters or leaflets or any kind were to be found.
Infact it would of looked like no body had stepped foot in the place at all if it wasn't for how clean the place was, and the bell on the desk. A small sign next to it reading "please ring bell for assistance".
Though a computer could just be seen through the reception window, flickering slightly now and again.

Pana took light steps after Toushin, tail tucked submissively between her legs a bit, letting a little whimper out. Had she her ears out they'd by pinned down in fright. But she still looked rather pitiful, soon enough catching up to Tou, her brave 'knight in armor' you could say. She gripped his hand, looking up at him a brief moment, then peeked around.
In her mind, she left it up to Tou to make the first steps and she'd just 'watch his back.' If she rang the bell who knew what'd happen. At the thought of the possibilities, she clung to Tou's side.

Looks behind him at Panaceia as she latches herself onto his hand and looks up to him; he offers her a smile, that smile meant to comfort her, to show he was able to keep his cool for the both of them, as he often had to. It never bothered him though. If someone asked he enjoyed being the knight in shining armor for her.
He lifts her hand up to give it a kiss on the knuckles and along one of the long fingers as he guides her up to the counter. Once there, having noticed from his peripheral vision that there was no one around, he places his hand on the bell and gives it a light tap to announce their presence.
His attention is on Panaceia the entire time, and he lets both their hands descend from his face while his eyes remain on hers. "Relax, Pana."

There was, however, no answer to the bell. Maybe they hadn't heard it? Perhaps a second ring would get their attention?

Pana looked around some more, since there was no answer for quite some time. Sure, she was usually the wimpy one, but if her Knight was cool with it, then she'd continue being such! "Why relax when there isn't anyone here!? BAH!" She hovered her hand over the bell, pausing for a moment...
... then just slams her hand down, ringing the bell a good three of four times! "That oughtta' get their attention," she growled. My my, so MOODY!

He winces slightly at the outburst and then cringes when she slams her palm repeatedly over the bell, the irritating bell even more so for his sensitive ears. He moves his free hand to rub beneath the headsets at the ear and then the hand finds its way to her round stomach, giving it a few gentle pats.
"I'm sure it will but you do need to relax. You don't want the baby to come early do you?" he replies while arching his brows and smiling. If she doesn't bite at him, or attack him in any way, he leans over to give her a kiss on the cheek.

From the room behind the back, there was a thud as though someone had fallen onto the floor, followed by loud groans and shocked gasps. After another second, the back door of the reception desk was flung open, revealing the good doctor looking panicked and exhausted.
He was not wearing his usual smile as he made his way to the desk. "May I help you?"

Pana tood a deep inhale, eyes closing, retreating back to being calm. Eyes lidded partially open, smiling at the kiss on her cheek, then warmed playfully, "Careful, wolfie bites."
Then her eyes shot wide open and ears rung with the clatter of the thud and following noises. Back into her wimpy mode, Pana sidestepped and backed up, then stepped to the side again, all to maneuver behind Toushin, pushing her hands against his lower back gently, urging HIM to do the talking now. "I'm new to this," she whined.

Murmurs quietly against her cheek, "I know."
He jerks his head up to look as he hears the crashing and groans, feeling a small pin of guilt stirring inside him. Obviously someone had fallen. As the doctor steps out, he manages to smile at him, feeling Pana duck behind him and press urgently at his lower back.
Taking the iniative, he steps forward, offering his hand. "Sorry about that. She's just flustered. We have an appointment. Toushin and Panaceia?"

Reaching for the hand, leaning on the desk to help support him, Cray shook it with a weak smile. "Yes... Yes... Welcome.." He yawned, letting go of the hand and beginning to stretch.
"You'll have to excuse me.. I, I've been doing work most of the night... And.. Most of the weeeeeek!! Aah!" Stretching even more, the Doctor proceeded to collapse backwards onto the floor, landing on the floor with a thud.

After hearing the thud, a young girl's head could be seen curling around the edge of the doorway into the small room. "Zee? Zeee?" She called out to him, getting no answer.
Sighing, she came up to the desk herself, stepping over the Professor's body. "You're here for an appointment yes?" She smiled widely at the couple, looking no older then 15. The Doctor overalls looking rather large for her.
"I'm Dr Goodman! It appears I'll be assisting with your appointment, if you could please step into through the door around the corner here, first door! You can't miss it! And I will be with you in a moment.. And so will the Professor!" Tina gestured to said room before looking to the computer on the desk next to her.
Well, it was quite obvious who the appointment was for, it was the only on on this computer schedule!

Pana kept fairly quiet in back of Toushin, pawing up his tail to ty with like some bored child. Well, doctors DO bring out the child in her. Here she is now withdrawn in her own little world, her own tail tucked timidly between her likes like a shy canine, barely seen from behind the slit of her long brown coat.
The tired doctor threw her off only a little bit, but she paid it no mind until the seemingly young doctor ushered them to head to the 'first room around the corner.' A light and harmless tug at Tou's tail to grasp his attention as they walked on, whispering up in his ear "Isn't it a little strange that the professor was... asleep?"

Toushin gives that hand a shake, letting him go as soon as he attempts to get away. Curiously watching as the doctor explains and stretches, nodding his head slowly and then wincing as he falls backwards onto the floor. That didn't exactly make one feel comfortable. He didn't blame Panaceia's anxiety now; his devil tail easily grasped, and quite easily tied around within her grasp.
His attention finds the much youger doctor, unable to help but be taken aback by her apparently young appearance. He nods again.
"Yes, we are. ... All right, thank you."
At the tug to his tail as they walk, he looks over his shoulder slightly, giving her ample opportunity to lean up and whisper into his ear. He looks over the other shoulder to where the two are and back to her.
"Just a little odd," he replies quietly. "Though I really wonder how old that girl is.. She doesn't look to be more than fifteen or so."

When they open the door, they would find the back room was considerably smaller then expected, especially when compared to the size of the waiting area. This could of been because of the room that was off to the left side of the room.
The place was rather odd looking for a maternity clinic. A chair in the middle of the room rather like one you would find at a dentist's, but altered to suit the purpose of examination in pregnant women, or those who wanted to conceive. Beside it, a table with instruments on it one would not think to find in any clinic or hospital. Though odd they didn't look scary.
There were alot of shelves too, packed with different jars with clear liquids in different colours, most of them just clear. Others more clearer then others. The labels were not in english however, but some odd looking pictures or symbols were on them.
The desk in the room had a computer of course, but was considerably untidy. Papers and files spread all across it. Defiantly not one would of expected with how clean the waiting room was. There was also evidence to the thud from before, a large chair at the desk was tippled over.

Pana shrugged at Toushin's inquiry of the gal's age, "You sure this place is trustworthy?"
Upon entering the room, the chair being the first and only thing she noticed, her fear was amplified tenfold. She still held Tou's tail that had snaked around her wrist, her trembling an easy thing to notice. Eyes were glued on the chair, hiding her face in Tou's back, whimpering.
While the tools wouldn't really be scary to anyone else, her fear of unknowing what such tools were, and what was to be done, were more than enough to make her cower like a little piggy in a straw house.
Speechless.
