Marcus was at his compute,r coding, and then it crashed, so being all like D< he got up to get a snack, and stopped on the way to feed a little oarnge and white splotched goldfish that was in the kitchen.
And I'm assuming Tenkei hasn't been around for a bit for this. XD

Two bright golden eyes peered into the kitchen, ears raising and twitching about. The kitsune-like creature then plastered on a smile and strode on out into the all-too familiar room. "Hey!" He chirped in his usual enthusiastic fashion, one ear cocked. "Whatcha up to?" He was a bit nervous, as he always was whenever he returned to his friend, but he never allowed it to show on the outside. He folded his arms over into his sleeves and gave a tilt to his head, glancing over towards the fish curiously. Aha, so that's what his old friend was up to. He kept wearing his smile for now, eyes turning slowly back towards the human beside him. It really had been awhile, hadn't it? Well, Tenkei was back... For... Well, however long it was until the itch to wander bit onto him again. He could almost smell a hint of anger in the air before he entered, so he noted to be very wary. Something bad must have happened, and he didn't want to pick at any open wounds here. After all, he was looking for a place to stay... Well, perhaps he should have knocked but.. His extra key was jingling in his pocket, begging to be used. So he had simply walked in. Hopefully the teen wouldn't be scolded.

"Speak of the devil." Marcus mused, keeping his attention to the fish as though he were still speaking to him. "Here." He turned to Tenkei, gesturing to the fishbowl. "I got this for you at this little festivle thing. Name him. I'm getting some food..." He never was the best at giving gifts, so it always came out awkward and rude. He pulled the fridge door open, rummaging around mostly empty containers of leftovers.

The younger of the two male's eyes lit up, "For me?" A smile tugged itself across his lips while he bounced happily over to peer down at the little creature. "Aah, hello fish..." His tail wagged a few times behind him. He didn't mind his friend's shortness in the least anymore, and was actually rather used to it. He peered over at Marcus, "Thank you!" He shot him a grin and then turned back to get a closer look at his present. "You shouldn't have..." He continued, voice never losing its tone of merriment. "What a pretty fish... What should your name be...?" He pondered over this for a moment, fingers tapping along the glass lightly.. He stopped as soon as he noticed it bothered the creature, though. "Hoshi is a good name....?" He side-glanced towards his friend as if for approval. It was orangish, kind of like a star, right..?
