All around Gaia I've seen so many posts stating "Kairi sucks" or "I hate Kairi", but the fact of the matter is she isn't even in the game enough for anyone TO hate her! Kairi doesn't do anything worth hating her for except wait for so long for Sora and be a loyal friend to him! I find this offensive because I am a Kairi fan!

I hate Kairi in the first KH (sorry)
But not in KH2.
I don't know I guss its just one of those things where you hate something but you don't know why.
I also absolutely positivley HATE Areith from Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts. >:3

I... do not understand this violent hatred of Kairi and other female protagonists. eek
I really admire Kairi as a character -- in both the games. Personally, she's one of my favorite female characters.

Its just, most people hate her because she doesn't do anything. Well personally Id like to see you do something when your soul has been forcefully trapped in another person's heart and your lifeless body is being dragged to every freakin' corner of the universe. evil And everyone talks as if she CHOSE to play damsel in distress!

I like her. I wish she did more, but that's video games for you. The girls never get to do anything cool.
She is kinda stupid in places in KH2 though. sweatdrop

She is cool in the second game. But lets face it, in the first one, she is kind of clueless and can't do anything for herself. I mean, I didn't hate her, just found her kinda annoying.

Well, if you're sort of lacking a heart... how are you supposed to do anything? xd Personally, I think she handled things admirably under the circumstances. After all, if Kairi hadn't been there, Sora would still be a Heartless, na? wink And I don't think it's that Aeris herself is annoying in KH2 so much as it is that her new voice actress sucks. sweatdrop

I think Kairi's cute...there is really no reason to not like her. I mean, I can see why she may not be one's favorite character in the game, especially between her and Riku and Sora, but there's no evident reason I can see that anyone would HATE her, or think she sucks and whatnot. (Maybe it's just the yaoi fangirls who think so...? @_@ lol) She's pretty darn independent for a "damsel in distress" (her keyblade was pretty awesome) as well. Overall, I think she's a great character in the game and should've been a bit more involved in KH2 imo.
