I have been waiting for this movie to come out for a long time. Sadly I was a little disappointed by it crying . It just wasn't as good as the first. The writers included way to much drama and not enough Johnny Depp. It was supposed to be more comical than the first however, I found that it was more depressing and dark. They focused too much on Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom (though we all love him too). On a good note, if you love pirates and action movies, this would be nice for you. It has a lot more swashbuckling action than the previous one had and is a little more twisted. The ending of course, leaves you desiring more- Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End is next and this one (2) was already a long movie, my estimate is about 2 hours or more.
OVERALL:
It was a great movie all the same, even though it seemed it wasn't about Captain Jack Sparrow as much. Almost all Johnny Depp fans would love this movie and if you liked the first one it's worth it to go see this one. Wait til you see the scenes between Elizabeth and Jack Sparrow... I will await the third one, as will many others until sometime in 2007 (Estimated).

I am seeing this movie Tuesday and people say it's good. The one problem I see in fans, is that they are there more for the actors and THEIR action, than the whole movie and what takes place. I can say more after tomorrow.

I agree with you. I am a fan so I was interested in seeing more of Johnny Depp however, I also know that it was still a great movie none-the-less, it's a pirate movie and it fits it well. It's been awhile since some good pirate movies if ever there was any. It still had an awlful lot of drama for a pirate movie...

Oh, I've been waiting for this movie for 7 months! I hope it's good. I can't wait to see it. I just dunno when I'll be able to, with my work schedule. :: sighs ::

You'd be suprised at how many pirate movies were ouit there back in the day! I'm going to see it it...half an hour, so I'm gonna get off soon. Yay, I saw it and it was GREAT! It was, by far, much better than the original movie. 3nodding My review will come later...when I am not so exhausted. xp

I still think the original was better xd Though I liked the second a lot.... It made $132 million at the box office the weekend it came out-which I was a part of xp

i SOO wanna watch the movie....johnny depp looks hawt in tht.I saw the movie and all i can say was..............I WANNA WATCH IT AGAIN! i missed the interesting parts..cos i was soo busy on the pc crying
